The stack of coins collapsed with a loud clatter, attracting the attention of many people.
A little girl holding five stuffed animals also ran over to Chen Feng, her face full of admiration and envy.
"Uncle, you're amazing! You won so much in just a moment. This coin pusher is really hard to win. I've been playing here for months and haven't seen anyone win on this machine. Teach me, how did you win? I promise I won't tell anyone."
This little girl was really quick to get familiar. Chen Feng ignored her and squatted down to put the fallen coins into a plastic box.
This time, he won over 3,000 coins, which, at a one-to-one exchange rate, was equivalent to over 3,000 yuan.
The onlookers were all envious.
These game tokens were officially not allowed to be exchanged for cash, but there were people who would buy them privately.
Sure enough, someone came over and whispered, "Boss, are you selling these coins? I'll take them all for 2,000 yuan."
"Go away. He's not selling."
Before Chen Feng could say anything, the little girl angrily shooed the person away.
The person glanced at the little girl, didn't say anything more, and turned to leave.
"Uncle, don't sell these game tokens cheaply. If you really want to sell, sell them to me. I won't let you down."
Chen Feng couldn't help but look at the little girl, thinking she seemed to be quite wealthy, but he said, "I'm not selling. I came here just to play, not to make money."
"Uncle, you really are a master!" The little girl flattered him again.
Chen Feng continued to put the game tokens into the plastic boxes. One box wasn't enough, so he filled three.
The three plastic boxes, stacked together, were heavy, and Chen Feng had to carry them with both hands.
Next, Chen Feng didn't go to play the gambling machines again but played racing and shooting games. After a few rounds, he didn't spend many game tokens.
Then he went to play the dance machine. Chen Feng had never played this before and didn't know how to dance, lacking a sense of rhythm.
However, why not try it before it's too late? Trying it out before dying isn't a bad idea.
As expected, playing the dance machine relies on luck. Without a sense of rhythm, he couldn't dance well and quickly got a game over.
Many people around saw Chen Feng flailing around and burst into laughter, especially a few kids who laughed the loudest.
Chen Feng remained calm.
"Go away! Didn't you start like this too? What's so funny?"
It was the same little girl who stood up for Chen Feng again. She had a large plastic bag and had put the stuffed animals in it, carrying it in one hand.
"Uncle, let me help you. I'm a good dancer." The little girl offered to help, suggesting they dance together.
Chen Feng didn't refuse and nodded, "Okay, I'll pay for the game tokens."
"Great." The little girl smiled sweetly.
They inserted the tokens, and the dance game began.
However, within half a minute, both of them were over.
"Uncle, you need to be more relaxed," the little girl said, acting like a teacher. "To play the dance machine, you need to be shameless. Don't be afraid of losing face. The more you dance, the better and more confident you'll become."
Chen Feng smiled and said, "You're right. Let's play another round."
"Hey, Uncle, we're waiting. It's our turn now."
A young man nearby complained.
"Go away, all of you." The little girl grabbed a handful of game tokens from Chen Feng's plastic box and gave them to the young man.
The young man immediately smiled and left with his friends.
"Uncle, do you mind?"
Turning back, the little girl stuck out her tongue and asked.
"Not at all. I have so many game tokens, and I don't plan to take them with me. You can help me spend some."
This little girl seemed impolite, but after this interaction, her nature was actually quite good.
"Uncle, you're so generous. I'll be your friend. Now I'll start teaching you."
So, the little girl really took her job seriously and taught Chen Feng how to play the dance machine.
During this time, several groups came to play, but she sent them away.
Chen Feng really focused on learning, and with his thick skin, after a few rounds, his skills improved significantly.
Chen Feng immediately felt addicted, and the little girl felt a great sense of achievement.
The two of them dominated the dance machine, dancing for over two hours.
By then, they were both quite tired, and their feet were starting to hurt, so they stopped.
Next, the little girl took Chen Feng to play other games. She was very familiar with the arcade.
After a round of playing, Chen Feng felt very satisfied. The little girl, probably because she didn't have to spend her own money, was always smiling.
When the arcade announced it was closing, the two of them ended their game and walked out together.
"Uncle, are you coming to play tomorrow night?" The little girl asked hopefully.
Chen Feng shook his head, "No. I probably won't come again."
He only had a few months left and didn't want to waste too much time in the arcade. Playing freely tonight was enough. He had many other things to do.
"Why? You seemed to have a lot of fun tonight. Why not continue coming?"
The little girl was a bit disappointed and upset.
"I have other things to do. You should focus on your studies. You're in junior high, right? Don't spend all your time in the arcade and neglect your studies."
Chen Feng didn't want to say this, but since they had spent a few hours together, he couldn't help but mention it.
"I don't want to study. What's it to you?"
The little girl immediately turned hostile, acting like a dog.
Chen Feng shook his head, not wanting to argue with a little girl, and changed the topic, "I'll give you the remaining game tokens. Do you want them?"
"Ah, Uncle, are you kidding? There are so many game tokens." The little girl looked at Chen Feng in surprise.
Chen Feng still had over 2,000 game tokens left, which were worth over 2,000 yuan in the arcade.
"I said I won't play again. I can't return them, and I don't want to sell them at a low price, so I'll give them to you."
"Okay. But, Uncle, do you have any ulterior motives? I'm still young."
The little girl deliberately acted scared and cautious, her eyes quite dramatic.
"Go away!"
Chen Feng couldn't resist ruffling her hair, turning her hairstyle into a mess.
The girl screamed and tried to protect her hair, and Chen Feng felt much better.
"Do you want them? If not, I'll just leave them here."
"Yes! Why not? This is compensation for messing up my hair."
The little girl said confidently.
"Okay. I'll transfer them to your account at the counter. Do you have a membership card?"
"Of course."
The two quickly went to the counter, counted the game tokens, and transferred 2,593 tokens to the little girl's membership card.
At the counter, Chen Feng learned the little girl's name: Qin Xiaorou.
After setting up the membership card, the two walked out of the arcade and the mall, standing on the street.
It was already past 10 PM, and Chen Feng asked, "Did you come out alone tonight?"
"What's it to you?" Qin Xiaorou looked at him suspiciously.
Chen Feng suppressed the urge to ruffle her hair again and said simply, "If you come out alone at night, won't your family worry? Don't you have school tomorrow?"
"What's it to you?"
Qin Xiaorou gave Chen Feng a dirty look and turned to run away quickly.
What the heck!
Chen Feng was stunned for a moment. This wild girl was really impolite, turning hostile and leaving without any hesitation.
After spending the whole night playing together and giving her over 2,000 game tokens, she could be so cold and ungrateful.
What's wrong with this world? Is human interaction so cold? Can't people trust and be kind to each other more? Are the new generation all so ungrateful?
Chen Feng stood on the street, feeling a deep sense of disappointment, thinking the world was not worth it.
