The Endless Ruin Chasm, located at the far eastern edge of the Great Xuan Kingdom, is unfathomably deep, with a thick fog that perpetually shrouds it. If one were to accidentally slip and fall, they would surely meet a fate of complete annihilation.

No one knows what lies beneath the Ruin Chasm. A place where even birds dare not fly, it has long been a forbidden zone for humans.

However, Li Fan, through his previous simulation experience, knew that the thick fog above the Ruin Chasm dissipates every fifteen years. Today, he came to the Ruin Chasm to witness it firsthand.

After all, if his guess was correct, the two cultivators, Daoxuanzi and Kou Hong, might have come to this place of no return through the Ruin Chasm.

Li Fan stood silently, gazing at the terrifyingly deep chasm not far away, and waited patiently.

After an unknown amount of time, the thick white fog, which exuded an ancient aura, finally began to change.

"Roar..."

A low howl, as if from an ancient beast, faintly echoed from below. As the sound gradually grew louder, people finally realized it was the wind!

The thick white fog was stirred, creating ripples.

Then the wind grew stronger, and a large amount of white fog was forced to surge out from the Ruin Chasm, like an inverted waterfall, rushing towards the sky.

The strong wind lasted for nearly half an hour before the thick fog finally dissipated.

Li Fan's expression was solemn as he took out a telescope and looked towards the bottom of the Ruin Chasm.

At first, the bottom of the Ruin Chasm was pitch black, and nothing could be seen clearly.

Gradually, a few points of light began to appear.

After a long time, the bottom of the Ruin Chasm was bathed in light, and a scene like a mirage appeared before Li Fan's eyes.

According to the information, the scene at the bottom of the Ruin Chasm appeared differently to each person.

The scene before Li Fan's eyes left him deeply shaken.

A dilapidated mountain gate, with buildings collapsed everywhere. The ground and walls, riddled with cracks, were filled with the marks of sword and spell impacts.

In some areas, it seemed to be stained with blood, showing a strange dark red color.

The scattered corpses and weapons on the ground seemed to silently tell the story of a disaster that occurred many years ago.

Li Fan was filled with shock and turned his gaze to a smooth cliff wall, where he saw four large characters carved into it.

"Immortal Path Lost"!

The four characters were black and red, seemingly written in fresh blood.

Even from a great distance, when Li Fan saw these four characters, he could feel the indescribable fear and despair they contained.

"Immortal Path Lost... What happened here? What has happened to the entire cultivation world?" Li Fan was lost in thought, remaining silent for a long time.

...

The thick fog dissipated for only half a day before it began to re-form. Li Fan returned to Xuanjing.

Time passed, and soon it was another fifty years.

On this day, it was Li Fan's seventieth birthday, and thousands of soldiers in Xuanjing were on high alert.

"Daoxuanzi! Don't push me too far!"

Kou Hong turned and roared, hovering in the air above Xuanjing.

However, before Daoxuanzi could respond, voices from below echoed throughout Xuanjing.

"Kou Hong, we have been waiting for you for a long time, following the orders of Immortal Master Daoxuanzi!"

Along with the voices, a barrage of bullets rained down.

Caught off guard, Kou Hong was hit directly.

"How is this possible? Did Daoxuanzi know I would flee here? When did he become so calculating?!" Kou Hong was both shocked and angry.

Then, Kou Hong was horrified to find that his spiritual energy was rapidly being drained while resisting these magical artifacts. A quick scan with his divine sense made him realize what was happening.

"Xianfan Miasma?! Daoxuanzi, you are despicable!" Kou Hong looked at Daoxuanzi, who had just arrived, with disbelief, as if he were meeting this century-old friend for the first time.

At this moment, Daoxuanzi was somewhat bewildered.

"What are these mortals doing, attacking Kou Hong in my name? How do they even know about the Xianfan Miasma?" The sudden situation left Daoxuanzi momentarily stunned.

But seeing Kou Hong, who was already extremely angry, Daoxuanzi quickly snapped back to reality.

"This place is strange! Kou Hong, these mortals are not under my command!" Daoxuanzi hurriedly explained.

"What? You dare to do it but not admit it?" Kou Hong laughed in anger. "Or are you afraid that if the use of Xianfan Miasma is known, all cultivators will join forces to hunt you down? Or are you more worried that your hard-earned reputation over a century will be ruined?"

Daoxuanzi knew his brother's temper and realized that he had lost his reason and would not listen to anything he said.

Daoxuanzi felt he was caught in some kind of trap.

The strange aura here also gave him a strong sense of danger.

Engaging in a conflict with Kou Hong at this moment was not wise.

So, he patiently explained to Kou Hong: "After a century of acquaintance, when have you ever seen me lie? This place is indeed not..."

However, before he could finish, an elderly voice suddenly echoed from all directions, interrupting him.

"How can Immortal Master Daoxuanzi deny it? Didn't you promise that if we helped you kill Kou Hong and take his Core Formation technique, you would lead my people out of this place of no return?" The voice sounded somewhat aggrieved and resentful.

"Core Formation technique?!" Both Kou Hong and Daoxuanzi's faces changed upon hearing this.

"You deny it? Besides you and me, who else in this world would know about this!" Kou Hong's hair and beard stood on end, clearly enraged to the extreme.

"This person actually knows about the Core Formation technique..." Daoxuanzi's heart sank.

The voice continued, "You must understand, to obtain the Xianfan Miasma you spoke of, we have incurred the wrath of many. Now, the people are in an uproar. If Immortal Master does not keep your promise and lead us out, it won't be long before my people have no place to bury their dead!"

Feeling defamed, Daoxuanzi was filled with frustration and roared, "Shameless scoundrel, be quiet!"

He leaped towards the source of the voice, hoping to find the mastermind, but only saw a strange rectangular object. The voice was coming from it, and similar objects were scattered throughout Xuanjing, with no way to know how many more there were!

"Such caution..." Daoxuanzi was extremely helpless.

"Are you going to kill to silence me now, Immortal Master?" The mocking voice continued.

Daoxuanzi's teeth ground together, and he crushed the object in his hand.

To Kou Hong, it looked as if Daoxuanzi, after being exposed, was enraged and wanted to kill to silence him.

Kou Hong let out a long howl to the sky, "Daoxuanzi! We have known each other for a century, but I have misjudged you! If you want the Core Formation technique, why use such despicable means? I won't run anymore; come and take it if you can!"

"Dao Technique: Enraged Fire Dragon!"

A furious fire dragon circled around Kou Hong, roaring loudly.

The fire dragon glared at the front, spewing a long red flame from its mouth, heading straight for Daoxuanzi.

Daoxuanzi sighed helplessly and, with a light chant, a flying sword appeared behind him, transforming into a white light to meet the red flame.
