Encouraged by the glasses-wearing man once again,

"Ha~i! I'll do my best~!"

Even though it was just a few meters away, the two-timing girl waved her hand at Cavendish and, pretending to be scared, approached the gacha machine. The moment she placed her hand on the board, just like before, the colorless and transparent part began to change color. The outer frame turned blue, and the pattern, which could be described as camouflage if you were generous, or just a mess if you were not, was difficult to distinguish. However, unlike before, a thin, white chain-like object was wrapped around the outer edge of the frame. The silence that spread seemed to indicate that this result was not good. However,

"Yay! I got the same rare magic as the prince~!"

Despite the somber atmosphere around her, the two-timing girl was overjoyed, running up to the prince and hugging him. As the two of them giggled and hugged, the crowd was taken aback, while the glasses-wearing man and the king had serious expressions.

"This... how should we judge this?"

"...Indeed, it's difficult to determine the attribute at this point. However, since the light belt, which is the sign of the Holy Maiden, has appeared, we can confirm that she is the Holy Maiden. It would be better to let her get used to magic before presenting her to the public."

The king and the glasses-wearing man were having a serious discussion. The two who couldn't read the room were being affectionate, the crowd was buzzing, and I was bored. Since I was bored, I looked around and caught the eye of the glasses-wearing man, who was talking to the king. After saying something to the king, the glasses-wearing man looked at me. The king nodded to the glasses-wearing man, who then came over to me.

"Next is your turn... May I pick you up?"

Since she had been recognized as the Holy Maiden, the glasses-wearing man asked me with a much softer expression and voice than he had the two-timing girl. Indeed, with my current small size, I couldn't reach the board, so I obediently held out my hands to the glasses-wearing man.

"Excuse me."

The glasses-wearing man picked me up, a bit awkwardly but securely. He carried me to the gacha machine.

"Alright, please place your hand here."

The glasses-wearing man brought me close to the board. I placed my small hand on it. Instantly, the colors changed. The outer frame glowed with a rainbow, and the spreading pattern was like a luxurious kaleidoscope, changing colors and designs intricately and richly. Silence.

"Th-this..."

The glasses-wearing man could only mutter, and the crowd was speechless. I was getting anxious.

"Hey! What's going on here!! You stole my magic!!"

The two-timing Holy Maiden approached with a demonic expression.

"I was sent to this world by the goddess! It's strange that you have more power than me! You must have done something to me!!"

Spitting out her words, she ran towards me. The crowd was stunned by her sudden change. However, the glasses-wearing man quickly moved away, passing me to the man in front of him, who stepped between me and the two-timing Holy Maiden. I was moved by his action.

"Please wait! It's impossible for this child to steal your magic! Please calm down."

"Then what's going on! If we came from the same world, and there's no magic in my world, how could you have this much magic unless you stole it from me!!"

"That's not the case. The goddess's magic is special and can only be wielded by those chosen by her. Even if this child somehow managed to steal magic from the Holy Maiden, the child would die from the goddess's power before it could be assimilated. Therefore, it's impossible for this child to have stolen your magic or to have used it to get this result!"

"Then why is mine blue and his is rainbow?!"

"That's due to the innate qualities this child possesses! I don't know about your world, but in this world, the amount of magic is determined by the size of the magic container one is born with. It just so happens that this child's magic container is larger. There are people in this world who are born with a lot of magic, and some who produce rare results! You have no right to blame them!"

Though convinced by the calm rebuttal, she still seemed unhappy that I was better than her and pouted.

"Then why was the pattern so elaborate?!"

"That's due to one's nature and experiences. The pattern changes based on how one lives and who influences them..."

"Are you saying my character is bad!!"

"I'm not saying that! Rather, children who have never used magic often don't show patterns. To use magic, one needs imagination, the ability to specify the range of effects, and to calculate power. Learning these requires the appropriate knowledge and experience. Mastering these skills makes one patient and experienced."

"Then it's still strange! This kid is a baby! How can they have patience and experience?!"

"Occasionally, there are those with high souls. I believe the current pope is one such example?"

The glasses-wearing man asked the king for confirmation.

"Yes, I've heard that. The pope doesn't have much magic, but he displays a complex and intricate pattern."

"Yes, I've heard the same. Additionally, elves and fairies can have even higher souls. While it's rare, this child having a high soul is not impossible and has no relation to your magic or attributes."

The two-timing Holy Maiden, completely defeated by the glasses-wearing man and the king, was fuming. Cavendish, who had been frozen in place, hurriedly comforted her. While he smiled at her, his face when he looked at me was terrifying. I almost wet myself. As an adult, I held it in, but my child's body was on the verge of tears.

Clapping his hands to change the atmosphere,

"Now that the magic test is over and the Holy Maiden has been recognized, we need to introduce her to the high nobles, even if the public presentation will be later. Let's move on."

As the king moved, everyone followed, including the two-timing Holy Maiden and Cavendish, who were still clinging to each other. I was carried by the man in front and moved to the back of the group.

After walking for a while, we arrived at a large room with a door about three meters high, similar in height and width to a gymnasium at my nephew's school. Inside, about thirty to forty people in glittering costumes were looking at us. At the back of the room, on a few steps, were five magnificent, glittering chairs. The king, who had just put on a bright red cloak, sat in one of them. On his right was a woman who, despite her thick makeup, was originally beautiful and likely the queen. On his left was another woman, who was also beautiful and elegantly dressed, likely the other queen. Below them stood two imposing men, one in his fifties who looked intelligent and the other who looked strong. Both had impressive beards. In the center was a red carpet, and on either side were high nobles in expensive-looking clothes. Cavendish knelt and bowed on the red carpet, while the two-timing Holy Maiden just stood there. The scene was surreal and awkward. The man carrying me knelt next to Cavendish and bowed, placing me on his knee. The queen on the left looked at me with interest. Should I wave?

"Raise your heads, you are permitted to stand."

The king's voice was more authoritative and deeper, and he looked more imposing than before. Cavendish and the man in front of me stood up, but I remained in his arms.

"Noble lords of our country, the Holy Maiden has arrived by the will of the goddess. We must fight for the people, the country, and the world, and prepare for the coming calamity!"

The strong-looking man's voice was met with a chorus of "Ou!" from the crowd. It felt like a scene from a movie, and everyone had a serious expression. It was hard to believe I was a child in this situation. What was this? This was supposed to be the goddess's whim, yet people were preparing to fight to the death. Was the death of people part of the goddess's amusement? It made me incredibly angry! That's probably why the goddess was called a "stupid and foolish goddess" by the man. The goddess, who should value life, had probably sent me and my companion away. The Holy Maiden chosen by the stupid and foolish goddess was just a slut! There's no way such a slut could save the world!!

Clutching my small, cute fist, I resolved to destroy the otome game.
