Chapter 2

The rain was pouring heavily, and the continuous downpour in Harbin had put Xuehua in a low mood.

It wasn't because of writer's block; the story of "Wanhua" had just entered its rhythm, and the plot was about to become even more exciting.

Rather, it was because of the need to research certain plot elements for the book. Xuehua and my leader, a kind and sensitive little woman, decided to study the American TV series "The L Word." We ended up watching all six seasons, over seventy episodes, only to be shocked by the death of my favorite character, Jenny Schecter, played by Mia Kirshner.

Oh my god, you b*tch! A million horses galloped through my heart, leaving it in pieces.

Last night, my girlfriend cried in my arms all night long because of what happened to Jenny, while the rain poured heavily outside and tears streamed inside.

I'm a grown man, but I was also heartbroken by what happened to Jenny. I had been hoping for her happiness from the very first episode, but the result was...

But I couldn't cry. I quickly found some movies starring Mia Kirshner to cheer up my leader. There were a few with happy endings, and finally, I managed to comfort this crying and noisy but kind-hearted girl.

By the time the sky brightened, I still hadn't slept. She was asleep, and seeing her furrowed brow in her sleep, my heart ached for Jenny and for this sleeping little woman.

Happiness is so hard to come by. Xuehua just hopes that people can face everything bravely and not give up easily. My girlfriend has been through five or six breakups and once felt as hopeless as Jenny, but she managed to get through it.

I've rambled on a lot, and I don't even know what I'm trying to say. In short, while blessing Jenny, I also hope that people like Jenny Schecter can face life bravely.

Happiness is so hard to come by. I hope those who have it will cherish it, and those who don't will keep waiting and not lose hope. Xuehua blesses you and blesses myself.

Jenny, I love you so much. Damn the director, but I still have to curse him.
