Chapter 1

Light shines from all directions, and everything is covered in the color of snow.

The sky is a deep blue, with ethereal light floating and changing, never repeating.

In this vast and open expanse of heaven and earth, there stands a stele.

Many divine steles.

These divine steles are inscribed with names, or rather, titles.

Jixiang has crossed over, his soul guided to this realm, and what he sees now is this very scene.

The moment he arrived in this realm, he seemed to come into contact with the yellow aura of this world, and in an instant, he gained a great deal of "awareness."

This realm is called "Dafuli Land."

And these divine steles are "gods," as well as "positions."

All the positions in the world exist within Fuli, and practitioners in the human world can invoke these positions, gain the fruits of these "gods," and thus become deities. The process of invocation involves drawing the positions down from Fuli.

These deities, these divine steles, are born from people's thoughts and sacrifices.

Jixiang doesn't know if he became a god when he crossed over to this world, but the divine steles around him are all surrounded by a rich aura of incense, a yellow flame-like aura, while he, Jixiang, has no one to worship him.

It seems that the paper money burned on Earth can't reach this place.

"Living without money, and even after death, I'm still a poor ghost."

In Dafuli Land, only Jixiang can move, though he can no longer be considered human.

The reason Jixiang didn't die and crossed over to this world is that he picked up a blank divine stele on Earth and was randomly selected to cross over.

At first, Jixiang thought about going back, but in this place, apart from these lifeless wooden steles, there is nothing alive to communicate with.

But Jixiang still wandered among these divine steles. He noticed that the incense aura from the sacrifices always had some leakage, so he started to collect the leftover incense aura, hoping it might bring about some change in himself.

Do you still need this incense?

If not, I'll take it.

The incense entered his body, filling his soul with a strange sensation, which then disappeared again. But Jixiang felt that his originally ethereal soul seemed to become a bit more substantial.

So he kept collecting these leftovers for a very long time, as there was nothing else to do. There was no concept of time here, and no reference points, so Jixiang had no idea how long he had been doing this.

Ten years or a hundred years?

Or even longer?

Jixiang only knew that he had become somewhat numb, even a bit neurotic, often talking to the divine steles.

This went on for a very long time.

Until this very moment, right now.

At this moment, Jixiang, while collecting some incense, saw the blank divine stele that had brought him here. Around this stele, there was no incense, and no one worshiped it.

Jixiang found this strange and reached out to touch the stele again. In the past, he often touched other divine steles without any unusual occurrences, but this time...

The surrounding yellow aura suddenly flared up like flames, and countless divine steles turned in unison!

Then, Jixiang suddenly heard a voice, the sound of chanting:

"In the beginning, in the Azure Heaven, in the碧落空歌, in the great Dafuli Land..."

Then, one of the divine steles began to vibrate, and a light descended, as if opening a passage.

Jixiang turned his head and saw the stele that had opened the passage.

It was inscribed with:

"Yuan Shi Tian Zun."

The chanting grew louder, and all the divine steles vibrated more intensely!

Jixiang was enveloped by the wave of chanting, transformed into a beam of light, and broke through Fuli, heading straight for a human world.
