"Oh my, what should we do? It's Actor So Jin-wook."
"The person next to him must be him. He's the popular high school actor these days."
I could hear the flight attendants whispering in low voices from the front.
Yeonwoo, who had been on civilian aircraft, military planes, and even had to pilot small planes many times in his past life, sat in the business class and took a selfie with the excited flight attendants before takeoff. This was the first time he had received such attention from the flight attendants.
As soon as he boarded, Sohyun took out a blindfold and fell asleep, snoring softly, which belied her earlier worries. She only woke up briefly when the in-flight meal was served and then fell asleep again.
On the opposite side, An Jun-ho was already ordering drinks, not knowing how many times.
"Brother Jun-ho, you'll be drunk before we even arrive."
"Ah, it's refreshing. I don't know why I like alcohol so much. But I restrained myself during filming, so now I can let loose."
Time passed, and the aircraft carrying Yeonwoo and the group extended its landing gear and landed on the runway of Daniel K. Inouye International Airport.
Seeing Sohyun stretch and get up, Yeonwoo laughed in disbelief.
"Aren't you afraid of flying?"
"Heh, when you're afraid, you usually sleep."
The plane had already docked at the airport, and the group, tired from the long flight, stood up one by one, eager to leave as soon as possible.
Yeonwoo and the group went through the connected gate and stood in line for immigration.
"Will they ask complicated questions?"
Min-soo, who was worried about the notorious U.S. immigration, having never been to a U.S. territory before, searched for information.
"Brother Min-soo, since we're a group, they probably won't ask many questions. Our country's passport is quite powerful."
Min-soo nodded, and the staff members in front of him passed through without many questions, just as Yeonwoo had said.
"Wow, Yeonwoo, you speak English well?"
An Jun-ho, standing behind Yeonwoo, was impressed by how Yeonwoo was chatting and laughing with the immigration officer.
Jin-wook, who had just finished immigration and came up behind Yeonwoo, patted his shoulder and answered for him.
"Not surprising, he's the top student in the class."
The group pulled their luggage out of the arrival area, and although there wasn't a large crowd, a few expatriates held up signs to welcome them.
Mostly fans of Jin-wook, who had gained some recognition overseas through "Your Name."
Jin-wook approached the fans waving his name and took photos and signed autographs, providing fan service.
"Thank you, thanks."
Seeing this, An Jun-ho tapped Yeonwoo on the shoulder.
"Maybe in a few years, we'll also shoot a hit overseas. It's amazing to see Jin-wook being recognized here."
"Right, with the current trend of Korean content, maybe our next project will be a hit."
An Jun-ho smiled, thinking, "Will it really happen?"
After that, they followed the guide and went to the hotel with the staff to rest.
The next morning, after having breakfast and returning to their rooms to rest, someone knocked on Yeonwoo's door.
When he opened it, Jin-wook and Jun-ho were already ready to go.
"Yeonwoo, we're going to the live firing range with the staff. Do you want to come?"
Shooting... Yeonwoo, who had shot so much that he didn't need to do it as a hobby, nodded.
"Sure. What about Sohyun?"
"She's scared of loud noises. She's probably playing at the hotel pool with Director Choi."
Hearing this, Yeonwoo suddenly wanted to lie on a sunbed at the hotel pool, but he had already decided to go.
"Just a moment. I'll put on some clothes and come out."
Yeonwoo put on comfortable clothes and applied sunscreen all over his body before coming out.
"Brothers, did you apply sunscreen well? The Hawaiian sun is intense."
"Ah, I applied it roughly."
Yeonwoo handed sunscreen to Jun-ho, telling him to apply it thoroughly.
"If you do it roughly, it will be a big problem. Your skin will turn like the Polish flag. You didn't apply it here. Apply it here too."
"Ah, Yeonwoo, your nagging is just like our father's."
"You'll get skin cancer. Skin cancer."
Jun-ho nodded, saying he understood, and Jin-wook laughed, saying he had met his match.
They went to the hotel lobby, got into the car with the waiting staff, and arrived at an outdoor shooting range near Waikiki.
"Wow, this is the shooting range. Gunshots are already being fired."
"Ah, it's been so long since I did shooting training."
"Okay, follow me this way. We'll do a safety briefing first."
After a brief safety briefing, the group was told to choose the guns they wanted to shoot from the displayed options.
"I'll go with the Glock 19."
Yeonwoo, without much hesitation, chose the familiar pistol he had used many times on set.
"Good choice."
The staff member commented on Yeonwoo's choice.
It's a rugged-looking but lightweight and durable pistol used by many countries, including the Presidential Security Service in Korea.
"Are you not going to shoot a rifle? There are some good ones."
"Hmm."
Yeonwoo, stroking his chin, thought about it.
"If you want, I can recommend one."
The middle-aged staff member, who was in charge of Yeonwoo, organized his protective gear, shooting headphones, and plate carrier while talking.
"Do you have the Beretta SC70/90?"
"Oh, that's unexpected. A Korean guy ordering an Italian gun."
The middle-aged staff member put the Beretta and Glock, along with ammunition, into a hard gun case and helped Yeonwoo put on the plate carrier.
"Hmm, it feels nostalgic."
Yeonwoo, wearing tactical gear for the first time in a long time, had mixed feelings.
"What, Yeonwoo, you already chose?"
"You picked something with a difficult name?"
In response to Jin-wook's question, Director Kang In-chan, who was watching, answered for him.
"Heh, I have a little interest in this..."
Actually, it was more than just interest; it was a past life where he lived with guns, but Yeonwoo scratched his head and tried to explain to the staff who were looking at him strangely.
Other staff members, who only knew M16 and K2, mostly chose the guns recommended by the staff and went through the safety briefing again before entering the shooting range with their protective gear.
"Yeon-chan, let the newly discharged guy shoot first. Show the strength of the Korean reserve forces."
Director Kang In-chan patted the back of the youngest member of the shooting team, who had just been discharged.
"Yes, Director. Trust me!"
With the staff's help, he loaded the ammunition from the box and started shooting with the pistol.
Bang!
"Oh."
Surprised by the strong recoil from the small barrel, he fired one shot.
Ha-ha-ha!
The staff laughed at his bewildered expression.
Calmly, he aimed at the distant target and fired again.
After firing 15 shots, he returned.
The target, delivered quickly by the automatic system, showed that he hit 13 out of 15, but most were off-center.
"This is pretty good. Most civilians find it difficult to hit the target with a pistol."
The staff member, comforting him, said.
The next staff members who went out also performed similarly, and An Jun-ho, who fired 15 shots, only made three holes in the target.
He insisted that he had shot through the same spot, but no one believed him.
Meanwhile, a brown-haired middle-aged white man, watching Yeonwoo and the group from the adjacent lane, clicked his tongue.
"Man, they're admiring each other even though they didn't hit the center. Asians should stick to archery, like uncivilized people."
"Hey, Jimmy. Isn't that a bit racist? Ha-ha, archery, that's funny."
"What's the problem? They can't even understand it."
Yeonwoo, hearing the conversation from the adjacent lane, stared at them through the bulletproof glass.
Just then, An Jun-ho, who had just returned from a disastrous shooting session, called out to Yeonwoo.
"Hehe. There's another inexperienced one besides me, Yeonwoo. It's your turn."
Yeonwoo, taking out the pistol from the gun case, loaded the ammunition skillfully.
Click, Thud!
Pulling the slide was not ordinary.
Then, with both arms forming an isosceles triangle, he started shooting in a perfect stance.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
He adjusted the sight with the first shot and then fired rapidly.
"Wow."
The staff member and the group clapped and marveled at his perfect rapid fire.
"Who is he? Is he really a high school student?"
Yeonwoo, who had fired 15 shots in a short time, returned to the group, and the target arrived shortly after.
"Wow, guests, that's impressive."
The target, handed by the staff, had a neat cluster of holes in the center.
"That's definitely the highest score today."
"Wow! Yeonwoo, you're boosting our morale. Why are you so good with guns?"
"Hehe."
Yeonwoo, not knowing what to say, scratched his head.
The rifle shooting that followed was similar.
While most of the Korean reserve force members, who had all received military shooting training, had better accuracy than the average foreign guests, Yeonwoo was the standout.
"Wow, a perfect score."
"Is this your first time shooting? That's amazing."
Not only the group but also the staff were impressed by his near-perfect shooting skills.
"Guest, where did you learn to shoot?"
In response to the staff's question, Yeonwoo, looking at the brown-haired man in the adjacent lane, answered.
"No, this is my first time. Maybe Koreans are a people who are good at archery."
Yeonwoo, smiling, packed up the gun case.
The staff members, who were military veterans, praised him, saying he could get a reward leave in the military, while Yeonwoo and Jun-ho, who were not yet in the military, felt a bit melancholic.
In the afternoon, the "Summer Wardrobe" team, after a boat tour, decided to rest at the hotel, and Yeonwoo went out in front of the hotel to take a walk and feel the night breeze.
In the distance, a familiar silhouette.
Hanseon, with her pale skin reflecting the light from the convenience store, and Director Choi Mi-hyun, who had come out with her.
'Are you hungry?'
Seeing them outside the hotel, Yeonwoo, feeling happy, approached to greet them, but he noticed some burly locals approaching.
"Surely, a cliché situation won't happen, right?"
But the situation was more plausible than Yeonwoo thought.
Even though it was a tourist destination, the security was worse than in Korea, and it was obvious that the locals were approaching the visibly attractive women.
They didn't seem to have malicious intentions, but in the dark night, it could be threatening to Sohyun and Director Choi.
Yeonwoo quickly crossed the street and spoke to the men in fluent English.
"Hey, mate. Is there a problem? I'm with them."
Sohyun, who had been slightly scared, looked back.
"Yeonwoo!"
