It seemed my little sister already decided that she wanted to sleep here. If I wanted to stop her now was the time but I couldn’t let her know I was actually pretending to be sleeping. For the time being I should keep an eye on the situation and look for an opening.

In just a few minutes I guess? I could already hear the sound of her sleeping soundly. This was bad. I already missed my chance to take a bath. Although it was my fault that I couldn’t take a bath, I really wanted to take one. I was sticky from sweat and other things.

I slipped out of my bed in a weird way. I slowly slipped from my feet down, careful to not shake the bed and then, I headed to the bathroom. I could hear a voice from the living room. My father must have come home from work.

When I returned to my room after a quick bath, my little sister was still sleeping in my bed. Her chest, clad in her thin pajama, was going up and down according to her breathing. Her defenseless look like she was at a complete peace made her look younger than usual.

“Even though she looks so cute when she’s sleeping….”

I gently stroked my little sister’s hair. It felt so pleasant when I ran my fingers through her hair.

I gently shook my little sister’s shoulder who was still asleep.

With a slightly lonely look on her face, my little sister left my room.

I then fell asleep within a blink of an eye.
