Luli heard Zhang Jian's sarcastic introduction and couldn't help but feel a mix of laughter and tears. Ni Mei's rival, not to mention whether he knew Liang Jun or not, he had no interest in Xia Qingxuan at all.

Of course, it wasn't that he had no interest at all. If possible, he would very much like to give Xia Qingxuan a good beating.

After eight reincarnations over six hundred years, how many times had he narrowly escaped death, only to be thwarted just as success was in sight? He was already very strong for not breaking down on the spot.

Noticing the two people approaching from behind, Luli frowned and quickened his pace.

"Luli, stop."

A soft command came from behind, but Luli pretended not to hear, though he felt a surge of anger inside. Not finding you to settle accounts is already a favor, so why can't you just leave me alone?

"Qingxuan told you to stop, are you deaf?"

Liang Jun had been paying attention to Luli all along, but with a beauty in front of him, he didn't bother to acknowledge him. Seeing Luli ignore Xia Qingxuan, he became furious, quickly stepped forward to block Luli, and glared at him, ready to fight at any moment.

Blocked in his path, Luli glanced at Liang Jun and said coolly, "A good dog doesn't block the way."

"Shit, who are you calling a dog?"

Liang Jun's face changed, and he reached out to grab Luli's collar. Luli, however, easily dodged by shifting his body slightly.

"Boy, do you know who I am? Do you believe I can kick you out of Hai Da tomorrow?" Seeing that he couldn't scare Luli, Liang Jun felt he had lost face in front of Xia Qingxuan, his face turning ashen as he threatened.

Luli laughed lightly, "You should ask your mother who you are, I have no idea."

"Damn, you're asking for it."

Luli had blocked Liang Jun twice, and Liang Jun, enraged, suddenly slapped Luli's face. Luli's pupils contracted, he leaned back, and instantly raised his arm to grab Liang Jun's wrist.

Staring at each other, Luli slowly released Liang Jun's wrist and said calmly, "Not fighting back doesn't mean I'm afraid of you."

"Hah, you've got guts."

Liang Jun laughed in anger, but Luli remained calm, showing no fear.

In his previous eight reincarnations, he had faced countless life-and-death moments. This small threat wasn't even enough to make him flinch.

Seeing the two about to fight, Zhang Jian coldly snorted and stepped in front of Luli, glaring provocatively at Liang Jun. Zhang Jian, as his name suggested, was over 1.8 meters tall, big and strong, and very loyal, so he couldn't just stand by.

The other students exchanged glances, hesitant. Liang Jun was known as the "little tyrant" of the automation department, not only for his brutality but also because the Liang family had considerable influence in Hai Cheng, so they were somewhat worried.

Seeing Zhang Jian step forward, Liang Jun's expression changed, "Zhang Jian, this has nothing to do with you, step aside."

Zhang Jian sneered, "You think you can touch my brother? Why don't you take a look in the mirror and see if you have the ability!"

He and Liang Jun were the captains of their respective basketball teams, and they had had many encounters, even a few fights, with Zhang Jian winning more often than not, so he wasn't afraid of Liang Jun.

Liang Jun looked at Zhang Jian, seething with anger.

Zhang Jian wasn't from Hai Cheng, and the Liang family's influence was mainly in Hai Cheng, so they couldn't do anything to him. As for expelling Zhang Jian, Liang Jun had tried but failed.

For a moment, the two glared at each other, neither willing to back down.

Luli watched with a look of disgust, finding this childish behavior almost laughable.

He tugged at Zhang Jian's clothes and shook his head, "Don't get involved in this, I know what I'm doing." Then he turned to Xia Qingxuan, his face showing dissatisfaction, "Xia Qingxuan, how long do you plan to纠缠 me?"

"纠缠—how long?"

Luli's ambiguous words made Zhang Jian blink hard, almost dropping his jaw. Could they really have something going on? Impressive, to even get Xia Qingxuan.

Liang Jun's expression changed almost simultaneously, his eyes glaring at Luli with hatred, his fists clenching tightly.

"Luli, you bastard."

Xia Qingxuan was initially stunned, her face turning red with anger, "When have I ever纠缠 you? And you, is this how you treat your savior?"

In the year since Xia Qingxuan entered Hai Cheng University, she hadn't even been close to any boys, let alone纠缠 any. Even Liang Jun, standing in front of her, she had never given a proper look.

Luli's temper flared, "Who asked you to save me? If it weren't for you, I wouldn't be like this."

"You, you, you explain yourself. Was it wrong for me to save you? If I hadn't seen you saving someone and getting hit, you could have died in front of me, and I wouldn't have cared."

Xia Qingxuan's face turned red with anger, her eyes filled with grievance: What kind of person is this! She had risked her master's punishment and gone to great lengths to save him, and he not only didn't appreciate it but also turned it around on her.

Xia Qingxuan's eyes were red, and she had tears in them. Luli took several deep breaths, staring at her without backing down, and finally sighed, "It's all fate. You didn't do anything wrong, and neither did I. Fate has played a cruel joke on us."

"Fate? How ridiculous."

Xia Qingxuan laughed in anger, "I'm telling you, I saved you because of your actions, not for your gratitude. If I encounter the same situation again, I will still act. From now on, we are strangers."

Liang Jun watched Xia Qingxuan storm off and said coldly, "Boy, you're good, we'll see about this."

Since Xia Qingxuan had saved Luli, he couldn't believe they had no special relationship. For anyone who tried to take his woman, Liang Jun never let them off.

Zhang Jian glanced at the angry Xia Qingxuan and then at Luli, his face showing confusion. As for Liang Jun's threat, he didn't take it seriously at all.

"Old Three, what's going on? Since Xia Qingxuan saved you, why are you treating her like this?"

Faced with Zhang Jian and the others' puzzled looks, Luli felt helpless and had to say, "I just don't like her, okay!"

"You—"

Zhang Jian's eyes bulged, and he said with a dark look, "Are you even a man? Don't let your brothers look down on you."

"I—sigh, you don't understand."

"Is there more to it?" Zhang Jian was surprised, and his dissatisfaction quickly turned to curiosity.

"Yes, but I can't tell you without her consent."

"Oh, I see." Zhang Jian's eyes lit up, and he grinned, "It's a couple's business, I won't interfere. Ha, let's go to class, and we'll go drinking later. Oh, and bring your girlfriend, that would be perfect."

"Cough, cough."

Luli coughed loudly, "What the hell, after six hundred years of effort, it all comes to this. I wish I could just beat this girl to death."

He turned and glanced at Xia Qingxuan's back, unconsciously touching his white hair, and finally sighed.

Revenge was out of the question; she had acted out of kindness, and he couldn't repay kindness with enmity. But why did he feel so annoyed when he saw her?

Forget it, I hope I never see her again!
