4 min read1,056 wordsMature

"Dispatch calling! Chief commanded Sergeant Thomas to take charge of the situation and resolve it as he sees fit , before he was off to greet the new captain." Dispatch on the radio.

"Shit! Chief must be feeling very high spirited for him to leave Thomas incharge of a situation!" Patrol officers gossip behind Thomas.

"Hand me the alliance agreement for me to sign it, hand over the escaped convicts and safely return our new captain to her home and apologize to her for the mishandle!" Thomas signs the agreement and hands it over to Brick.

"From now on, a to z and CAF are officially allies and I will bear responsibility for this alliance! Anyone who dares to question my judgement will face my wrath!" Thomas laughs sinisterly leaving the Patrol officers behind him dazed.

Messy backs off a bit and punches Thomas in the face, scolding him, "Why are you getting carried away, acting all godlike! You didn't become captain or something! You just pitifully agreed to that deviant's demands! Get it into that stupid brain of yours and back off, you imbecile! You are scaring everybody with your ludicrousy!"

"Ouch! Calm down little girl! Adults are talking here, eh! Go play somewhere else, will you? Haha!" Thomas makes fun of Messy.

"Why you? You're dead!" Messy jumps angrily at Thomas with crazy red eyes.

"Bring it on, you dwarf!" Thomas yells.

"Let's settle this right now, you jackass!" Messy yells back.

Thomas and Messy start bowling with each other, turning those who try to stop them into collateral damage.

"Get a room, you two! We have other urgent matters to attend to! We're off now!" While all the cops are busy fighting with each other, Brick and the other attended members of the a to z organization slip from their sight and leave the place in their cars.

When they realize it, it's too late. They are already fucked.

On that day evening, Abiding by the agreement, a to z members apologize to the new captain and are on their way to return her to her home when the police chief's car runs into theirs and drives them off the road into the roadside bushes.

Before the backup teams arrive and arrest the a to z members, he roughs them up a bit and saves the new captain.

Back at the police chief's office,

"What? All this time, I was being used as a bait in order to catch them? How could you do that to me, Chief?" Thomas whines at the Chief.

"I know how stupid you are. I just used your stupidity to my advantage. You should be grateful that you were useful to me somehow. Otherwise I was thinking of making you handover that sergeant badge of yours to someone who's worthy of it. Lucky you!" Chief pokes fun at Thomas. "Just kidding, Tom! I'm sorry for that! Chill up, lively boy! Gloomy face doesn't suit you!"

"But they were respecting the alliance agreement and were on their way to safely drop the new captain at her home. They are our allies now. We can use them to bring down the crime rate in the city. We don't need to keep them in custody, chief! Messy, back me here up a bit please!" Thomas pleads the chief to consider the alliance agreement with a to z organization.

"Tom, this matter doesn't concern you anymore! You two have done your job well! Go home and get some rest! You should be at your fullest to impress the new captain and gain a positive first impression!" chief says to Thomas and Messy.

"But Sir, I signed an alliance agreement. I can't run away from my responsibility." Thomas says to the chief before Messy kicks in his butt and drags him out of the chief's room by his ear saying, "excuse us, chief! We will take our leave as you command, sir! "

"Ouch! Ouch! My ear is hurting, leave it alone! What are you doing, Messy! I still need to speak with your dad! Let go of me, you crazy bitch!" Thomas shouts at Messy outside the chief's room.

"At work, he is the chief of police, superior to all the cops in the city. That includes you and me. It's in our best interest not to argue with him on duty. Messy says to Thomas, "besides, we deserve some break once in a while for going through some crazy shit like today's, don't you think?"

"Yeah, you are right! Let's get out of here!" Thomas and Messy sit in the Patrol car, drive to the Konid precinct, submit their daily report and leave in Thomas's topless jeep to their apartment.

Tom and Messy are best friends since childhood and their families are close neighbors sharing the same apartment named Heaven's Mist. Even after getting promoted to the rank of police chief, Messy's dad, Mr. John Nelson, and her mother, Mrs. Mary Nelson, instead of moving to a new own house, bought the entire apartment building they were living in, respecting her daughter's friendship with Thomas.

Evening that day, Tom and Messy's date night is on. They roam around the entire city in Tom's jeep, eat roadside foods, and stop at a tea stall on the Brigade bridge to drink tea.

The two gossip while having tea, watching the people and automobiles that pass by on the road under the bridge.

"Messy, look!" Tom points at a red color rich people's car that's passing by. "How is that car? It looks good, doesn't it?"

"Yeah, but it doesn't look comfortable to me!" Messy replies.

"I'm not gonna marry that car, you lowlife! I'm gonna drive that to show the world that a successful person is passing by!" Tom says to Messy.

"I'm not interested in showing the world anything. The life I have is all that I want. I'm more than happy with it. I can't ask for anything more." Messy says with a sweet smile on her face.

"To drink tea in a costly cup, to eat in a five star restaurant and to live in a sea facing triplex penthouse, is what I desire in my life!" Thomas says arrogantly.
