After Jiang Fei saved someone, the clinic's business truly turned around and became prosperous.

With titles like "miracle doctor" and "acupuncture master" spreading, the residents in the surrounding area, whether sick or not, came to him. Those who were sick came for treatment, and those who were not sick came to find something wrong with them, just to get a checkup. After all, it was better to prevent illness before it happened.

Of course, while Jiang Fei's clinic business improved, although Su Nan's business across the street was affected, it wasn't as bad as Jiang Fei's had been before. The combination of a beautiful young woman, a white coat, black stockings, and high heels still had considerable appeal, and there were always some people willing to come and feast their eyes.

"Jiang Fei, you really know acupuncture! How come I didn't know this? I never saw you use it when we were in the hospital."

On the weekend, Lin Molili took the day off but didn't rest. Instead, she went to Jiang Fei's clinic to help him with tasks like preparing medicine.

Seeing Jiang Fei remove a fine needle from a patient's stomach, the patient stood up, his face beaming with joy, exclaiming, "Miracle doctor! Truly a miracle doctor! My back, which has troubled me for years, doesn't hurt at all now!"

Jiang Fei smiled and said to Lin Molili with a hint of pride, "There are many things you don't know about me!" He then wrote a prescription for the patient, noted the prices for the acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and handed it to Lin Molili, saying, "Your condition isn't completely cured yet, but after taking this medicine, it shouldn't recur."

"Thank you, Doctor Jiang! Thank you, Doctor Jiang!"

The patient was overjoyed and decisively took out six red bills, not at all complaining about the price. After all, Doctor Jiang had a rule: he would only treat five patients with acupuncture each day, no more.

He had managed to get an appointment three days in advance!

Lin Molili, responsible for collecting the money, couldn't help but be amazed. She leaned in close to Jiang Fei's ear and whispered, "You're really making a killing. At this rate, you'll earn more than you did in the hospital!"

Lin Molili's scent was very pleasant, a bit like the fragrance of jasmine, making one feel a bit distracted.

"This isn't really overpriced. In the United States, those foreigners who only know a bit of basic acupuncture charge at least one dollar per minute, even in the worst clinics. The more upscale clinics are even more expensive," Jiang Fei said with a smile. "Besides, you see that I earn a good amount each time, but did you notice that I only treat five people a day?"

Lin Molili collected the money and prepared the medicine, then asked curiously, "Why only five people a day? Are you using some kind of scarcity marketing strategy? With your skills, even without limiting the number of patients, you should still have many people coming to see you."

Jiang Fei rolled his eyes at her, "You really don't understand anything! You were a nurse before, but you don't even know this basic fact. Don't you know that acupuncture is very draining? Five a day is my limit; any more and I can't handle it."

After seeing off this patient, it was not even three o'clock in the afternoon. Even though the business was steady, Jiang Fei still prepared to close up.

Lin Molili was very puzzled, "What are you busy with lately? I understand closing when there's no business, but now that business is so good, why only open for half a day? Even if you don't do acupuncture, you could still earn money by sitting and diagnosing patients."

"It's true that I could earn money, but do you think I'm the kind of person who is obsessed with money? Lin Molili, you're insulting my character!" Jiang Fei said with a feigned look of disdain.

Jiang Fei wouldn't give up his career as a doctor. However, he also wouldn't forget about his plan to lease land in the countryside, set up a planting base, and create his own resort.

After some exploration, he had finally found a very satisfactory location and had already had a preliminary discussion with the local village chief. Today, he was going to finalize the details.

Just treating patients to gain experience was too slow; he needed to get his side business up and running as soon as possible.

He closed the clinic, started the car, and Lin Molili naturally sat in the passenger seat.

It was late April, and Labor Day was just around the corner.

The daytime temperature in Jincheng had already risen above 25 degrees, marking the beginning of early summer.

So Lin Molili's outfit was quite light, giving a summer feel.

She wore a chiffon T-shirt with a simulated silk pattern, not tight-fitting but rather loose. However, with her height of over 1.7 meters and her excellent figure, one could still see her slim waist and full chest under the loose T-shirt.

She wasn't wearing black stockings, but a pair of white shorts with a dark yellow belt, exposing her long, well-proportioned legs.

Jiang Fei glanced at her, finding the view very pleasing. Having a beautiful woman along for the trip was much better than going alone.

However, he still asked, "Are you sure you have nothing to do this afternoon? I'm going out of town, and I don't know when I'll be back. If a client comes looking for you later, I won't be able to bring you back."

"Out of town?" Lin Molili was taken aback but didn't refuse. Instead, she asked curiously, "Where are you going?"

Seeing that Lin Molili had no intention of leaving, Jiang Fei started the car, "You'll see when we get there!"

They left the city center and got on the highway. Jiang Fei drove at a good speed, and the 80-kilometer journey took less than an hour.

But after getting off the highway, the road conditions were terrible, with bumpy gravel roads. The road was clearly poorly constructed, with very few stones, making it not much different from a dirt road.

Fortunately, Jiang Fei's 2.4L Jeep Grand Cherokee, though a city SUV and not as rugged as a Wrangler, was still much better than a regular car. Driving on this road was a bit troublesome, but it was manageable.

The journey was bumpy and swaying, and it took a full half hour to reach the destination, despite the short distance.

"Why come to such a place to suffer! Even if you want to go camping, there are plenty of places in the suburbs or parks. I'm completely numb from the ride..." Lin Molili fixed her wavy brown hair and complained nonstop.

However, when she got out of the car and saw the scenery before her, she quickly stopped complaining.

It was a beautiful natural landscape!

Under the blue sky and white clouds, three majestic mountains loomed in the distance, forming a large basin-like area. Even from a distance, one could hear the sound of flowing water, indicating small waterfalls on the mountains. At the foot of the mountains, there was a perfect combination of grasslands, forests, and lakes, a breathtaking sight.

Further away, there was a lush vegetable field, with peach and cherry trees interspersed along the edges! In late April, peach blossoms usually would have withered, but these peach trees were a late variety, blooming beautifully with a fragrant aroma and buzzing bees.

The cherries were not yet ripe, but the green skin was already tinged with a rosy hue, like the face of a shy beauty.

In the distance, there were scattered rural houses. Some were red brick and green tiles, a few were small buildings, and some were the now rare mud and thatch houses. If they had come a bit later, they would have seen the picturesque scene of smoke rising from the chimneys.

All of this was the most natural and harmonious scenery, something the bustling city could never offer. It was like a top-quality oil painting, and being in it made the fatigue of a busy day in the city immediately disappear, allowing one's nature to be freely expressed.

"Wow! So beautiful! It's like a fairyland! Jiang Fei, where are we?"

Lin Molili, who had been about to stretch her arms, was completely stunned by the beauty before her and exclaimed loudly.

"This village is called 'Dao Village,' surrounded by mountains on three sides. Although it hasn't been developed into a tourist attraction, the scenery is better than most tourist spots. Wasn't the trip worth it?" Jiang Fei looked into the distance and smiled.

It took him two weeks to find this place, and he was very satisfied with it.

"Absolutely worth it! We'll stay here tonight and not go back!" Lin Molili nodded firmly, "But where will we stay tonight, in a villager's home?"

Jiang Fei smiled and walked ahead, "We'll go back tonight. But if we come here in the future, we can stay as long as we want!"

The car ride was troublesome, but after getting out, Lin Molili, wearing high heels, found it even more difficult to walk on the country paths. However, she was so captivated by the scenery that she didn't mind the discomfort.

"The cherries aren't ripe yet, what can we eat? Besides, these fruit trees are planted by farmers. If we pick cherries, we might get fined," Jiang Fei said with a smile, watching Lin Molili eagerly pick a handful of cherries and eat them without washing them.

"They're not fully ripe, but they taste good, a bit sour. Try some..."

Saying this, Lin Molili, with her red-painted nails, picked a cherry and put it in Jiang Fei's mouth.

"Mm, they're good. I think they'll be fully ripe in a couple of weeks. We can come back then and enjoy them slowly..."

Jiang Fei's destination was the home of the current female village chief of Dao Village, Li Guiying.

The last time he heard it was a female village chief, he thought it might be a cliché story with a beautiful rural woman, but upon meeting her, he found that she wasn't particularly attractive and was already in her fifties.

PS: When describing 'Dao Village,' I had the scenery of Daocheng Yading in mind, so I named it 'Dao Village.' I originally wanted to include snow-capped mountains, but it clearly didn't fit here, so I had to give up on that idea.
