"Brother Noah!"

Seeing the battle about to unfold, Lisanna, who was most worried about Noah, couldn't help but call out.

"Be careful!"

Noah nodded slightly, turned his gaze to Gildarts, who had a relaxed expression, and slowly lifted his foot, then brought it down with a loud thud.

"Thump!"

A loud stomping sound echoed from under Noah's feet, and his body transformed into a black shadow, charging fiercely at Gildarts.

"Nice speed!" Gildarts exclaimed in admiration, clenching his hand and raising it bare-handed in front of him, a faint glow shimmering on his arm.

"Clang——!"

The black shadow that rushed to Gildarts' front suddenly halted, the knight sword in its hand slashing down mercilessly toward Gildarts' hand, but it only produced a sound like metal clashing.

"Quite a bit of strength too!" Gildarts, who had blocked Noah's slash bare-handed, was slightly shaken. He looked at Noah, who had taken a step back, and laughed in surprise. He then shook his arm.

"Is that possible?" In the crowd, Mira, Lisanna, Erza, and others were all dumbfounded.

"Did he really block Noah's slash bare-handed?"

Noah also stared intently at Gildarts' hand, which was still shaking. His extraordinary perception allowed him to sense the magic power covering it.

To be honest, the magic power covering Gildarts' arm wasn't particularly impressive, just enough to enhance the hardness of his body.

If someone else had used the same level of magic power to strengthen their body and tried to block Noah's slash bare-handed, their hand would have been severed.

But Gildarts had used that level of magic power to strengthen his arm and successfully blocked Noah's slash.

Others might find this incredible, but Noah noticed something was off.

Gildarts wasn't just using magic power to strengthen his arm's hardness.

Noah clearly felt that the magic power covering Gildarts' arm was compressed like squeezed water, forming a dense mass.

This was the secret behind Gildarts' ability to block Noah's sword bare-handed!

Ordinarily, when someone uses magic power to strengthen their arm's hardness, it's like immersing their hand in water.

When a sword strikes, the water provides some resistance, reducing the force and threat of the strike.

But Gildarts not only used magic power to strengthen his arm's hardness but also compressed the magic power, turning the water into ice.

As a result, the ice blocked the sword, rather than just providing some resistance and reducing its power.

This method of using magic power was something Noah had never seen before, and it made him realize something new.

So, magic power could be used like this?

With this new understanding, Noah glanced at the knight sword in his hand, a glint of insight in his eyes.

If Gildarts could increase the hardness of his arm by compressing magic power, could the same method be used to cover a sword and increase its sharpness?

With this thought, Noah immediately put his idea into action. Magic power flowed continuously from his body, gathering on the blade of the knight sword.

Then, using his refined magic control, which he had honed for two years to a masterful level, Noah compressed the magic power on the blade, making it thinner than the blade itself.

Gildarts, noticing this, was genuinely surprised.

But before Gildarts could express his amazement, Noah charged again, his figure darting like a bullet to Gildarts' front. The knight sword in his hand sliced through the air, producing a sharp whistling sound as it aimed at Gildarts.

"——!" Gildarts' eyes widened, and he quickly raised his magic-compressed hand to block.

"Clang——!"

A loud, bell-like sound echoed.

Gildarts, who had been so relaxed a moment ago, took a step back, his eyes filled with surprise as he looked at Noah.

"Gildarts stepped back!"

The mages of 'Fairy Tail' were immediately in an uproar.

A thirteen-year-old child had forced back the strongest S-class mage of 'Fairy Tail'?

While part of the reason was Gildarts' carelessness and not expecting Noah to use magic power in such a way, the uninformed outsiders were naturally shocked.

As for Mira, Lisanna, and others, they were filled with joy.

Noah, on the other hand, seemed to be immersed in the moment, his pupils gradually focusing.

"Can it be even thinner... even sharper..."

Muttering these words, the magic power covering the knight sword's blade became even thinner and sharper.

Noah even made the magic power vibrate, creating a friction like a chainsaw.

"Ha——!"

With a cold shout, Noah's knight sword transformed into a blurred streak, swinging like a storm, creating a series of dazzling sword lights.

The field of vision was instantly filled with sword lights, making Gildarts shudder and quickly raise his other hand, using both hands to cross in front of him.

"Clang——Clang——Clang——Clang——Clang——!"

In the center of the field, the sword lights struck Gildarts' muscular arms, producing a series of bell-like sounds, as if cutting through steel.

"Can it be even thinner... even sharper..."

Noah's gaze became increasingly sharp, and he swung his knight sword more fiercely. The magic power covering the blade became even thinner and vibrated faster, making the blade even sharper.

In this situation, Noah likely had the power to cut a house in half with a single strike!

But even with such powerful strikes, they only left white marks on Gildarts' arms, unable to even break his skin.

"Truly a surprising guy..."

Gildarts, hiding behind his crossed arms, raised his head, his eyes piercing through the web of sword lights, landing on Noah's face, and his lips slowly curved into a smile.

"But, this level isn't enough!"

With that, Gildarts suddenly spread his arms wide.

"Boom——!"

The sword lights striking Gildarts' arms were instantly shattered like a spider web.

However, Noah, seeing Gildarts' chest exposed as he spread his arms, felt a surge of joy.

"Right now!"

A wave of magic power burst from Noah's body, surging into the knight sword, infusing the blade.

"Hum——!"

Noah's knight sword emitted a bright glow.

"Clang——!"

With a sword cry, a comet-like sword light shot out from the space, carrying a sharp sonic boom, like a fleeting meteor, almost instantly reaching Gildarts' front.

Gildarts' expression changed, and he finally showed a serious look for the first time since the start of the battle.

"Too naive!"

His body slightly lowered, Gildarts extended one hand, directly intercepting the meteor-like sword light, gripping it tightly, and a surge of overwhelming magic power erupted.

"Bang——!"

Under the watchful eyes of the crowd, the dazzling sword light, under Gildarts' powerful grip, instantly turned to powder like a ball of dough.

Then, Gildarts threw a punch, aiming at Noah's face, who had his pupils constricted, and struck with great force.
