from coming into your home, and would chase away any demons who tried

to make a pass at you. If I wasn’t there, other demons would have

ganged up on an adorable demon master like you, and totally mess you

up.”

“You’re using that as an excuse? Is that why you

won’t let me talk to any demon other than yourself even now?”

“I

was guarding you. I absolutely won’t allow any strange demons to get

close to you, or talk to you. I’m always protecting you, twenty-four

hours a day, whether it’s morning or night, so you can be

safe.”

had encountered countless demons. There were plenty of them that

would stare at him as if they wanted to tell him something, but none

of them would come close enough to touch or speak to him, so he

always thought that was just how demons were, but that also may have

been a totally baseless thought.

because you’re strong now, but as a small demon you were weak. I

don’t know how many demons tried to make a pass at me, but how was a

little demon like you going to chase other demons away? Don’t tell me
