cursing Hoshiai, naughty stuff like that, but he didn’t try to break

the talisman barrier by force and come in.

“Hoshiai-san,

you’ve seen Yato’s true form? You’re not shocked seeing him like

that?”

Tokimori obstinately took his eyes away from the

window and questioned him curiously.

“Yeah. On the night of

the day I met you guys, he came to me in that form. He bitched about

not picking on you, told me not to come near you, and if I told you

about his true form, he would do that to me, and other harsh threats,

but then at the end, he left as fast as he could like a high school

girl scared her parents would get mad if she broke curfew.”

Tokimori admired Hoshiai’s courage. He

had guts saying something like that to the intimidatingly large

demon Yato’s face. Yato seemed to have gone to see Hoshiai while he

was in the bath. He remembered there were no towels that day, so he
