Afterword

Ebisu Seiji here. Thank you very muchfor picking up the 7th installment of ‘Ore ga Suki Nano wa ImoutoDakedo Imouto Janai’. From this volume onwards, Yuu and Suzuka’sjoint high school life has started.

On one hand, Suzuka is as happy as canbe, and on the other hand, Yuu is feeling a bit conflicted because ofthis sudden change. And thanks to this new environment and Suzuka’snew friends, their relationship has greatly changed. Or at least, that’s how I want to see it. But what do you think about it? Iwould be very happy if you enjoyed your time watching the twosiblings grow and change.

Even I found myself thinking “SoSuzuka is finally a high school student now, huh…? Time sureflies…” and so forth, and I hope that you will be watching overthese two annoyingly cute siblings from now on as well.

And speaking of time, we’ve hit themilestone of two years for this little sister series. In this shortamount of time, we’ve managed to achieve a comicalization and ananime production, which still never ceases to deeply impress me.Please, if you like the series, I wholeheartedly encourage you tocheck out every other project as well.

Speaking about the comicalization, thefirst volume of the ‘Ore ga Suki Nano wa Imouto Dakedo ImoutoJanai’ manga will release at the same time as the 7th installmentof the main series! It has been running in the Monthly Dragon Age forquite some time, but Narita Kou-san informed me that we have enoughchapters for a full-fledged volume now! Being able to see this andthat scene in a different light, not to mention the cuteness of thecharacters, feels very special to me. I found that I was enjoyingmyself immensely. Every single character was drawn so lively, so Igreatly advise anyone who hasn’t gotten around to checking it outto at least give it a try.

Concerning the anime production, wehave set up an official homepage and distributed key visuals, so itreally feels like we’re getting closer now. Just like the manga, ifyou find yourself interested in the progress, and hopefully the finalproduct, please check it out.

Now then, away from all of that, and onto the thanks.

First of all, I have to thankGintarou-san for honoring me with such wonderful illustrations likealways. Of course, I also have to thank all the people who helped inmaking this release possible. Finally, I’d like to thank all of thereaders who were wonderful enough to pick this book up. Thank you somuch!

With that, I would like to finish mycomments here, and I hope that we will see each other in the nearfuture—

2nd of July, 2018. Ebisu Seiji.
