Hello there, Ebisu Seiji here.

I’d like everyone of you to thank youfor picking up [Ore Ga Suki Nano Wa Imouto Dakedo Imouto Janai]volume 7.5. Thank you very much.

As you might have guessed by thenumber, this volume doesn’t belong to the normal series, but hasits own special place. At first, this storyboard was only supposed tobe a short episode for the Monthly Dagon magazine, but after a bit ofreworking it into an episode, it turned into what you have read justnow.

Story-wise, a Kouhai from Suzuka’sHakuou, Madenokouji Nene, appears, finds passion in light novelsthanks to Towano Chikai’s previous lecture at Hakuou, and asks Yuuand Suzuka for guidance. Since she doesn’t appear in the mainseries, this is something you could call a side story. Thanks tothat, I was able to write several new episodes that didn’t fit intothe main series. How did you enjoy it? I would be very happy if boththe readers of the Monthly’s Dragon Magazine, as well as thefirst-time readers had a good time with this volume.

I have to say, however, that this wasmy first time writing a side story for one of my main series, whichresulted in a lot of pressure that I applied on myself. At first,when it came to naming this side story, I was pondering a lot betweenthings like [Ore Ga Suki Nano Wa Imouto Dakedo Imouto Janai – PlusAlpha!] or [Ore Ga Suki Nano Wa Imouto Dakedo Imouto Janai –Extracurricular Classes], but in the end, I went for the standardaffair 7.5 number.

But, nevermind that for now, on a finalnote, I’d like to once again thank everyone who enabled me to bringout my first side story into the world like this.

And, here’s to hoping that we get tosee each other again in the near future—
