During the Spring and Autumn Period, Guan Zhong, a great politician and

reformer, helped Zuoqi Huangong to dominate the princes and rectify the world.

He reformed the past tax collection methods and implemented the "guanshanhai"

("guan" means "management", and "mountain sea" means mining cast iron and The

policy of boiling salt.) created the earliest salt and iron monopoly system in

Chinese history. According to Guan Zhong's rough calculation, Qi can earn 60

million yuan a year.

At the suggestion of the "financialist" Sang Hongyang, Emperor Wu of the Han

Dynasty, in order to strengthen centralization, retake important economic

undertakings such as salt and iron from the hands of the rich and powerful,

and reverse the country’s financial difficulties, he also promoted the

official salt and iron business and liquor. monopoly. Since then, the salt-

iron franchise system has been running through the entire feudal dynasty of

China!

In the Tang Dynasty, more than 90% of the nation's mineral veins were in the

hands of the imperial court, while the remaining less than 10% of the mineral

veins were in the hands of important ministers and noble families, such as the

grandson Wuji!

As a thousand-year-old clan, the Wang family also has two mineral veins in

their hands. The iron or iron ore needed by the folk blacksmiths is nothing

more than three sources. The first is to find the local government to buy; the

second is to recycle some ironware that the civilians do not use. Return to

the furnace to recast; third, go and buy it from a family with iron ore!

In the Tongfu Inn, Dugu Feiying pondered for a moment, and said: "You go to

contact the people of the king's family and identify them. Please cooperate

with them to find out the identity of Kang Changan as soon as possible!"

"Yes! General!"

Zhang Dafu bowed and took his orders. After hesitating for a while, he clasped

his fist and said, "General, Wang Yu, the head of the Wang family, is back to

Taiyuan! He came back around noon!"

"Oh? Wang Yu?"

Dugu Feiying's eyes lit up. He pondered for a moment, and a thought flashed

through his mind. He smiled and said:

"The Wang family has been operating in Taiyuan for many years, and it is an

out-and-out snake. And Wang Yu, if I remember, Wang Renbiao, the son of Wang

Yu, had a good relationship with Yonganhou. Our trip was mainly to protect the

people of Yanhuang Academy. Safe. So, to some extent, Wang Yu and we should be

able to be members of the same camp! Get ready and follow me to Wang's house

for a while. If we can get help from the Wang's house, it will be very

convenient for us to do things in Taiyuan City!"
