Chapter 2318: Countermeasures!

When he was in the post house earlier, Li Junxian assigned Wang Liaoyuan to

the task of maintaining public order in the city and preventing the people in

the city from being dissatisfied with the closure of the city gate and causing

civil strife, but Wang Liaoyuan had just returned to the mansion from the post

house. How long did it take to receive such a bad news-the grain shops in

Taiyuan City were out of food!

It's not that the grain merchants took the opportunity to drive up the price

of grain, but the grain is out of it!

Is this okay?

As a parent official, Wang Liaoyuan understood the importance of food to the

people better than anyone else. He said that “food is the heaven for the

people”. If the news of Taiyuan without food continues to ferment, Wang

Liaoyuan believes that it will not be long before the city of Taiyuan There

will be a mess by default!

By then, there are bound to be hundreds of people rushing into the city gate,

wanting to go out of the city to buy food!

Even if Li Junxian did not assign him a task, as the provincial governor, Wang

Liaoyuan must try his best to solve the current problems in Taiyuan City!

"Subordinates obey!"

In the post office of the governor's house, the middle-aged scribe, surnamed

Pang, gave his orders. He also knew that the matter was urgent, so he grinded

it on the spot and wrote a notice. After the incident, Wang Liaoyuan saw that

the contents of the notice were correct, so he stamped his seal. Handing the

notice to Feng Catou, he solemnly ordered:

"Feng catches the head, this officer has ordered you to immediately arrange

for someone to rub out this notice, and then post it on Brother's Minfang in

the city, and integrate all the government officials and county government

officials, strengthen patrols in the city, and guard against people taking the

opportunity to cause chaos! If it is not enough, report it immediately, and

the officer will go to Fang Cengjun to borrow troops!"

Feng Datou clasped his fists and said, "Yes! Subordinates obey orders!"

Having said that, Feng Catou took the notice from Wang Liaoyuan, then turned

around and left in a hurry!

In Houya, Wang Liaoyuan frowned and looked at Feng Tautou's departure from the

direction of silence. He always felt that something was wrong with this

matter, because since the world became peaceful, there has never been food

shortage in Taiyuan City. The Sifang Gates of Taiyuan City were blocked for

two days, but let alone just two days, even if Taiyuan City was blocked for

ten and a half days, the surplus grains in the granaries of the major grain

shops in the city would be enough for hundreds of thousands of people in the

city to consume, but now The major grain shops in the city suddenly had no

food, which made Wang Liaoyuan feel a little strange after he calmed down!

Could it be that someone is secretly playing tricks?

Wang Liaoyuan couldn't help but question in his heart.

"Does Mr. Cishi think that today is a bit weird?"

The middle-aged scholar surnamed Pang saw Wang Liaoyuan condensing his

eyebrows in thought, his eyes flickered, and after a pause, he asked

tentatively.

"This thing is really strange!"

Upon hearing the sound, Wang Liaoyuan came back to his senses in an instant.

He nodded, then turned to ask: "What did Mr. Pang see?"

The scribe surnamed Pang shook his head and said: "Master Governor can't see

it, how can Pang Mou see it? It's just that Pang Mou feels that Taiyuan City

is only a two-day gate. Today, there is no war in the Tang Dynasty. There

shouldn’t be no food in the food store in the city, and the people in the city

should not be rushing to buy food! There must be something hidden in this!

Maybe someone is secretly manipulating all of this!

Moreover, the major grain stores in the city only suffered from food

shortages, and no grain merchants took the opportunity to drive up food

prices. This shows that today’s incident happened suddenly and many grain

merchants had not anticipated it. They were not behind the scenes because they

did not. Profit from it! "
