To become a warrior, one must possess soul, qi, and technique; lacking any one of these three elements means one cannot become a true warrior.

The soul, naturally, refers to the spirit, which is the most crucial aspect of a warrior. Anyone who wishes to become a warrior must first cultivate their soul power. It is said that when the soul is cultivated to an extremely high level, it can leave the body. Of course, leaving the body is extremely dangerous, and no one would do it unless absolutely necessary.

The most important function of soul power is to control combat qi. Imagine if a person without a soul had combat qi; it would be like a wild horse without reins, likely to torment the person to near death.

Therefore, a warrior can only gradually enhance their combat qi and overall strength after they have sufficiently powerful soul power.

The existence of martial techniques is to unleash a warrior's strength. If a warrior is a tomb filled with treasures, then martial techniques are the keys to open the tomb. Without the key, no matter how many treasures are inside the tomb, you can only sigh at the sealed entrance. Without martial techniques, even if you have the highest combat qi, you cannot unleash it.

The quality of martial techniques is like the size and quality of the key that opens the tomb. The larger the door the key can open, the better the passage, and the more treasures can be taken out.

Possessing a good martial technique can even defeat opponents two levels higher, which shows that martial techniques play a significant role in unleashing one's strength.

A good martial technique can greatly enhance the application and power of combat qi. This is why Yi Liu was greatly shocked when he saw a low-rank Sun-level martial technique.

If soul power and combat qi cultivation methods are the foundation, then martial techniques are the tools. A solid foundation combined with excellent tools makes it easier to defeat enemies.

The cultivation methods for soul, combat qi, and martial techniques are divided into five levels: Star, Moon, Sun, Earth, and Heaven. Heaven-level methods are legendary, and Earth-level methods are considered the highest. From this, it is easy to imagine how rare Sun-level methods are. If they appeared on the street, they would likely cause a bloodbath.

Yet, such a rare method was casually given to Yi Liu by Yi Feng, which left Yi Liu in great shock.

Yi Liu's curiosity grew even more intense, "Damn, my little brother is too awesome. He couldn't have gotten it by being a pretty face, could he?"

Yi Feng chuckled inwardly, feeling a deep sense of jealousy.

...

As Yi Feng approached the front hall, he suddenly stopped running and slowed down, looking at the hall that was just a few steps away.

A memory of a person from five years ago flashed in his mind: a young, delicate face, bright eyes, a slender and somewhat frail body, and a person as pure as a lily about to bloom. Yi Feng had often marveled that if she grew up, she would be breathtakingly beautiful.

But this was not what he remembered most deeply. What he remembered most was her eyes, filled with guilt and tenderness. The look in her eyes, the pain and tears when his meridians were severed, left a deep impression on Yi Feng. He had never imagined that there could be such a heart-stirring gaze in the world. Her beautiful face, paired with her crystal-clear eyes, made Yi Feng feel that it was unjust for his meridians to be severed.

"Five years. What will you look like now?" Yi Feng muttered to himself, looking at the door of the hall, hesitating to step forward. Only in front of her did he have such a mindset.

Yi Feng didn't know that a year ago, two kings had fought to a draw to show off in front of her. Qin Yi's beauty had reached its peak.

The emperor himself commented, "A beauty that brings disaster, not to be possessed by the world." It's easy to imagine how stunning her beauty must be if even the emperor, who has countless beauties, would say such a thing.

Yi Feng remembered that his mother, intentionally or unintentionally, kept his father from interacting with Qin Yi. Given his father's single-mindedness, it was clear how beautiful Qin Yi must be.

Taking a deep breath, Yi Feng tried to clear his mind and stepped into the front hall. His light steps did not attract the attention of anyone at his father's birthday banquet; they continued to drink and make noise.

As soon as he entered the front hall, Yi Feng's eyes fixed on one place, even though it was just a back view. But Yi Feng immediately recognized the person, the one he had been searching for, the only one with such an otherworldly aura.

From behind, a head of black, shiny hair covered a white, smooth neck. A white dress with a light green belt at the waist highlighted her tall and slender figure.

Qin Yi looked around, completely ignoring the dazed gazes directed at her. She only wanted to find the person who had disappeared for five years, the one who had made her feel guilty and missed deeply.

"Qin Yi-nee..."

Yi Feng walked behind Qin Yi and softly called out, his tone extremely steady.

Qin Yi's body trembled, and she quickly turned around, looking at the somewhat frail young man in front of her. Tears suddenly streamed down her eyes.

If the Qin Yi in his memory was a lily about to bloom, the Qin Yi now had quietly blossomed, her mature, white face dotted with tears like dew on a lily.

Yi Feng's heart skipped a beat, deeply moved.

Qin Yi smiled, and this smile made everyone lose their composure: "Little guy, you can't just disappear like that anymore. You have to stay with me, okay?"

Yi Feng smiled slightly; the two of them had not become awkward after being apart for five years but had become even closer!

"Qin Yi-nee, let's find a place to sit. We shouldn't disturb Father's banquet." Yi Feng smiled, not wanting to cause a scene at the banquet, as his father did not favor him.

Qin Yi was about to nod when Yi's mother scolded, "You two, what are you talking about? Come, sit next to me. You want to run away from your own father's birthday banquet? What kind of son are you?"

Yi Kemu frowned slightly, glanced at Yi's mother, and opened his mouth but held back.

Since Yi Feng's meridians were severed, his father, Yi Kemu, had become much colder towards him. In his eyes, having such a useless son was a disgrace.

This made Qin Yi feel extremely guilty. She believed that it was her fault that Yi Feng's meridians were severed, preventing him from becoming a brilliant spirit practitioner.

Qin Yi looked at Yi Feng with guilt and said, "I'm sorry..."

Yi Feng smiled and shook his head, "When it rains, the sky must be overcast; when a mother wants to marry, she must find a husband; when I must sever my meridians, it can't be stopped. What is destined by heaven cannot be changed. Just like meeting you, it's fate."

Qin Yi's face turned slightly red at these words: "Pfft, you little rascal, can you just say fate like that?"

Qin Yi gave Yi Feng a glare but did not blame him; she couldn't blame him.

"Father, Mother..."

Yi Feng walked to his seat and bowed respectfully to Yi Kemu.

Well, they are my parents in this life. Although the old man has a bad temper, I'll just bear with it.

"Hmph..." Yi Kemu grunted, ignoring Yi Feng.

Yi Feng was not bothered by this, smiled, and after sitting down with Qin Yi, took a sip of the wine in front of him, his demeanor calm and composed, which made Yi's mother sigh in relief.

"Ha ha, so this is the second son of Sir Yi. I heard that after his meridians were severed, he disappeared for five years. Did he go to learn from a master?" A hearty voice rang out after Yi Feng sat down, the tone clearly mocking.

Yi Feng gently turned the wine glass, cursing inwardly: I just sat down, and someone is already causing trouble? Am I really so outstanding that everyone envies me? Should I give this old man a lesson?

When Yi Kemu heard this voice, his face changed, but he quickly recovered: "Sir Albert, my son's meridians were severed in an accident. How could he have gone to learn from a master? You, a smart man, wouldn't not know that severed meridians mean the end of a warrior's path, right?"

Where there are people, there is conflict, and this is no exception. Despite it being his father's birthday banquet, he had to invite some people he didn't want to. Sir Albert, who has always opposed his father, is one of them.

"Ha ha, that's strange. What did your son do for these five years?" Albert pressed on.

Yi Kemu cursed inwardly: Damn it, if I knew what he did for those five years, I wouldn't have to ask. I interrogated him for a long time, but he didn't tell me a single word.

Thinking of this, Yi Kemu's anger towards Yi Feng grew: This damn brat, I specifically told him not to come to the front hall, but he still came to embarrass me. Just wait, I won't let you off.

"Ha ha, Sir Yi, you don't know what your son did, do you?"

Albert knew that this second son of the Yi family disappeared after his meridians were severed and returned without explaining where he had been. He was eager to use this to embarrass Yi Kemu.

"Ha ha, my father wouldn't not know where I went. It's just that what I did isn't something to be talked about. Since Sir Albert is so interested, I'll tell you."

Old man, even though my father doesn't favor me, I won't let you bully me. Do you think I won't have someone make your eighteen wives... hehe, and parade you in the streets with a green hat? How interesting would that be?

Albert laughed, "Ha ha, what did the second son do?"

"Ha ha, nothing much. Just enjoyed the company of women!"

Yi Feng's words made several people spit out their wine. They stared at Yi Feng in shock, and Yi Kemu's face turned green with anger.
