A Feng's leather armor was personally designed by the old man, and he and his young granddaughter made it together. The little girl's task was to weave the long hair on the wild boar skin.
The old man said, "Yaoyao, take this pig leg to... Aunt Qing." He always wanted to show gratitude when receiving something, even though a wild boar's front leg was not worth much, but it was a gesture. The old man was always very considerate in this regard.
The little girl hesitated for a moment, a hint of reluctance on her face, but she still nodded and said, "Okay, Grandpa, I'll take it over right away." Don't underestimate her; though she was only six years old, she could carry a pig leg weighing about thirty pounds without any effort.
A Feng watched the little girl leave, then fell silent for a moment before saying, "Grandpa, do you have something to tell me?"
The old man nodded, feeling very pleased with A Feng's quick wit. He said, "A Feng, you're not a child anymore. You're sixteen this year. You've been training since you were six, and your foundation is solid. It's time to take it to the next level and start learning Wheel Power..."
A Feng was taken aback. He had been here for almost three years, and although he practiced boxing and archery every day to strengthen his body, this was the first time he had heard of Wheel Power. He asked, "Wheel Power, what is it?"
He had always tried to understand this world and figure out how big it was, but this place was too isolated, and it was impossible to get any information. There were almost no outsiders here, so he could only see the sky in this area and had no idea what the outside world was like.
The only thing he could clearly understand was that this was definitely not his former home. Every night, seven moons of different colors appeared in the sky, leading him to realize that this was a strange world. Beyond that, he knew very little.
The old man said, "Wheel Power is a magical force, not everyone can cultivate it. You must have the corresponding talent and potential. I tested you when you were six... You have the talent and potential to cultivate Wheel Power."
A Feng was stunned. He had always suspected that there were many things in this world he didn't know, but Wheel Power was beyond his imagination. He asked, "Does anyone in our Tiger Cliff Fort have Wheel Power? Who?"
The old man said, "Yes, your parents have it. Apart from them, no one else does. Of course, the people here don't know that your parents have Wheel Power."
After the soul took over A Feng's body, he had never seen his parents in this world, only his grandfather and little sister, so he had no memory of them. He said, "Oh... I see."
The old man said, "Don't underestimate Wheel Power. Once you cultivate it, not only will ordinary people be no match for you, but even the savages in the mountains won't be your opponents."
Savages were also human, but they were born with great strength, generally tall and muscular, with the shortest being about two meters tall. They had coarse, black body hair, and their physiques were more like beasts. In the mountains, they were top hunters. They hunted not only wild animals but also humans, and even other savage tribes. They were the greatest enemies of hunters because they had a certain level of intelligence.
The old man said, "Wait a moment, I have something for you." He got up and walked to the inner room, which was a cave, and gently tapped the stone wall. He quickly found a spot, inserted a dagger into a thin crack, and pried it open, taking out something before returning to the wooden house.
A Feng's eyes fell on the old man's hand and asked, "Grandpa, what is it?"
The old man gently stroked the item in his hand for a while before handing it to A Feng and said, "This is a seal. Take a look."
A Feng was puzzled. "A seal?" He didn't understand at all, took the seal, and examined it carefully.
It was a round object, about an inch thick, the size of a palm, with a black color mixed with countless silver lines. The lines were like the veins of a leaf, varying in thickness, with the finest parts resembling fine hairs, emitting a faint silver light. The thicker lines were as thick as toothpicks, twisting and extending. The seal was very heavy; though it was only the size of a palm, it weighed about seven or eight pounds.
A Feng said, "What a strange seal!"
The old man said, "Look at the silver lines. What do they remind you of?"
A Feng looked left and right for a while before saying, "They look like the veins of a leaf... No, they look like lightning..." A flash of inspiration came to him, and he remembered pictures he had seen in his previous life. This was indeed a picture of lightning, just very dense.
The old man's face showed satisfaction. He said, "You have good insight. This is a Lightning Seal! And your Wheel Power attribute is lightning. What's particularly precious is that you have a single lightning attribute, which allows you to cultivate Lightning Wheel Power, hehe."
A Feng held the Lightning Seal and said, "Hmm, it's a bit tingly..."
As soon as he said that, the Lightning Seal began to emit thin lightning. A Feng wasn't from this place and didn't know much about lightning. In his previous life, he knew that lightning was electricity, which could be fatal. Scared, he raised his hand to throw the Lightning Seal away.
The old man shouted, "Hold it! Don't let go! The Lightning Seal is awakening your Wheel Power!"
After three years of living with his grandfather, A Feng had come to regard him as a family member and an elder, so he suppressed his unease and tightly held the Lightning Seal with both hands.
The Lightning Seal began to emit a faint crackling sound, making A Feng's scalp tingle. He said, "Grandpa, is this... is this okay... this thing... uh, it's so tingly!"
The old man stared intently at A Feng's hands and said, "Don't be afraid, hold on! Hold on! Don't let go!"
A Feng didn't dare to throw the Lightning Seal away and could only grit his teeth and hold it tightly. As the crackling sound continued, the thin lightning from the seal began to flow into A Feng's body, causing a tingling sensation that made him extremely uncomfortable. He stammered, "G-Grandpa... w-when... w-will it... e-end..."
The old man said, "It's just beginning... don't let go..."
As the current flowed in, A Feng's hair, which had been hanging to his shoulders, stood up one by one. He couldn't see it himself, but the feeling of holding the Lightning Seal was definitely not pleasant.
The little girl, Yaoyao, came in and was shocked. "Brother, what... what's wrong with you?"
The old man said, "Don't touch your brother... come to Grandpa! Be careful not to touch him!"
The little girl's face turned pale, seeing her brother's hair standing up like dense grass, making his head look much bigger. She ran to the old man's side, her voice trembling with tears. "Grandpa, what's wrong with my brother?" She had been raised by A Feng, and they had a deep bond. Seeing her brother in such a strange state, she was extremely worried.
The old man hugged the little girl and said softly, "Don't disturb your brother, just watch. Your brother will be fine!"
The crackling sound grew louder.
A Feng couldn't sit still anymore. He stood in the center of the room, his body twitching from the electric shocks. His face turned a deep red, as if he were being roasted by a fire.
As the lightning arcs flickered, he finally couldn't hold the Lightning Seal anymore, his hands trembling. He said with difficulty, "I... can't... hold... it... anymore... I... can't..."
The old man suddenly shouted, "Don't throw it... you can let go now!"
A Feng quickly let go, but the Lightning Seal didn't fall. Instead, it hovered in front of his chest, emitting countless threads of lightning like a web, enveloping A Feng's body.
The little girl, Yaoyao, bit her finger nervously and said, "It... it's glowing... so strange..." Tears streamed down her face.
The old man said sternly, "Hold on, hold on! Don't be afraid... you won't die!"
Suddenly, the Lightning Seal moved.
As the Lightning Seal circled around A Feng, A Feng also began to move. This wasn't his own will but was caused by the electric shocks.
The little girl, Yaoyao, stopped crying because A Feng's movements were so strange. He raised his hands and feet, swayed his body, and twitched uncontrollably. The bizarre sight left her speechless. After a while, she whispered, "Grandpa... what's wrong with my brother... he... he looks like he's dancing..."
The old man said, "That's right, it's the Lightning Dance!"
A Feng inwardly wailed, "What the hell... is this even a dance? This is a standard twitching dance! I can't control my body at all!"
He did a split, then his body inexplicably turned half a circle, and he remained in the split position, one foot on the ground and the other pointing to the sky, his body twisted in an unnatural way. A lightning bolt as thick as a finger struck his lower back, and he spun rapidly on the spot seven or eight times.
A Feng couldn't even scream; his mouth was numb, and he was dizzy, passively dancing the strange Lightning Dance.
Yaoyao almost bit her finger off, exclaiming, "Wow, my brother is so amazing..."
A Feng inwardly wailed again, "Amazing my ass... my brother is being electrocuted! Damn, this is killing me!"
As A Feng danced the Lightning Dance, a strange warm current began to flow through his body, gradually making him stronger. A unique power was generated within him. A Feng understood that this might be Wheel Power, but he couldn't move and continued to dance with the lightning.
The Lightning Seal had lost its shape, glowing like a sun, emitting blinding lightning that made the old man and Yaoyao squint.
A loud thunderclap echoed, and the Lightning Seal suddenly shot straight into A Feng's chest, instantly merging with his body.
Thud!
A Feng fell to the ground, sprawling on his stomach, panting heavily. The lightning had disappeared, and the Lightning Seal was nowhere to be seen.
The old man looked extremely surprised. He hadn't expected the Lightning Seal to merge with A Feng's body, which was unimaginable. After observing for a moment and confirming there was no danger, he finally breathed a sigh of relief and said softly, "You're lucky... I didn't expect such a good fit. Your potential is truly terrifying."
A Feng smiled bitterly and said, "Grandpa, I... I'm completely numb... I can't move!"
