It turned out that García and Rodríguez's choice was correct.

When Michelle cut the first piece with the dinner knife, she was very satisfied with the aroma that wafted out. However, when she tried to cut the second piece, there was a problem. The filling and the crust of the second piece had completely separated, and the filling had scattered all over the plate.

Liu Yuxuan looked and realized that teaching them to use chopsticks at this moment was clearly too late. Well, they wouldn't use chopsticks today since there were no outsiders. They could just pick up the scallion pancakes with napkins and eat them by hand.

The other three saw this and, although it wasn't very elegant, they hadn't learned to use chopsticks either, so they followed suit. It seemed that practicing chopsticks should be put on the agenda as soon as possible.

Everyone was very satisfied with the lunch, but the only downside was that they all had a strong scent of scallions in their mouths. This made the big turtle keep sticking its head towards Michelle when she was studying it in the afternoon.

The big turtle wasn't cooperating well, and it was only then that Michelle realized she had forgotten about her father. She had been shy, then watched Liu Yuxuan make Chinese cuisine, and then got caught up in eating, completely forgetting about her father. Now she couldn't see him, so he must have gone home. Oh, would her father tease her when she got home?

Michelle walked into the house and said to Liu Yuxuan, who was drinking coffee, "Professor Reil said that your dishes are of good quality. If you can maintain this, you might get the USDA label."

Liu Yuxuan had been paying attention to the organic vegetable certification process. Having the label and not having it were two different things. It was almost like one was in the sky and the other on the ground.

The USDA certification process was very strict, and only products with more than 95% organic content would be allowed to have the label on their packaging.

This was a huge surprise. With this label, not only would the price be higher, but they could sell it anywhere they wanted.

"Look at you, so happy. I'll go home first since there's nothing to do in the afternoon," Michelle said, looking at Liu Yuxuan's silly smile, and she was also happy for him.

Hearing that Michelle was going home, Liu Yuxuan quickly stood up and said, "I'll take you back."

"No, I'll go back first and check things out," Michelle said, feeling a bit guilty. She didn't know what the situation was at home and didn't dare to let him come.

"Oh, Michelle is back? How was the lunch?" When Michelle got home, she saw her parents drinking coffee. She thought they hadn't noticed her and tried to sneak in, but her father spotted her.

"Um, it was great. Liu made Chinese cuisine, and it was very delicious," Michelle said.

"Seems like Liu is a good young man, isn't he, Michelle?" Alan asked again.

Seeing her father's smiling face, Michelle helplessly said, "He's okay."

"That's good. We won't interfere with your young people's affairs. You can make your own decisions," Alan said.

Hearing Alan's words, Michelle was confused. They were just talking about lunch, and now it had suddenly turned to this. Seeing her father's smiling eyes, Michelle panicked and quickly ran into her bedroom. As she ran, she heard her father's happy laughter.

Meanwhile, Liu Yuxuan at the farm shared the good news with García and Rodríguez. To his surprise, the two were even more excited than he was, jumping around.

"Boss, you might not fully understand the importance of USDA certification. It's like a quality certification. In the future, when we sell other products, people will be more willing to accept them. Moreover, USDA certification is an honor, an honor for our farm and for our town of Palm Springs."

Seeing that his boss didn't seem to fully grasp the importance of USDA certification, García explained.

"Looks like our farm is going to be famous?" Liu Yuxuan rubbed his chin and said.

"Yes, our farm is going to be famous," García affirmed.

"Alright, let's put that aside for now. I have a question for you two. What are your girlfriends doing for work?" Liu Yuxuan asked the two.

"They work together, but not in our town. They work in a restaurant in another town," García said.

"How is the work? How is the pay?" Liu Yuxuan knew that working in a restaurant wasn't easy, and you never knew what kind of customers you might get.

Hearing Liu Yuxuan's question, García's eyes dimmed, "Not very good. The town is near the highway, and truck drivers often come. You know, truck drivers can be difficult to please, and sometimes they can be a bit rude."

Liu Yuxuan looked at the two and said, "How about this? Let them come work on my farm. They can earn the same salary as you two and be responsible for taking care of the vegetable fields. What do you think?"

Actually, ever since he found out that the two had girlfriends, Liu Yuxuan had been considering this issue. These two were his first cowboys, and they worked very hard, just as Old Hudson had described. They were completely reliable and didn't need much supervision.

Such employees weren't guaranteed by higher pay alone. Sometimes, you had to consider their needs and help solve their problems.

Although Liu Yuxuan's proposal had some personal motives, his intentions were still good. He wasn't a saint and couldn't just give without expecting anything in return.

García and Rodríguez were so excited by Liu Yuxuan's invitation that they didn't know what to say.

Yes, working as waitresses in a restaurant earned more, with many tips. But there were also many troubles. Truck drivers often harassed the waitresses, and some even got handsy when they were drunk.

Moreover, working as a waitress wasn't as comfortable as working on a farm, especially with such a good boss. The most important thing was that they would be responsible for the USDA-certified vegetables, which were currently the most important part of the farm. This showed how much their boss valued and cared for them.

The two immediately took out their phones and called their girlfriends, telling them to quit their jobs and come over, even if they didn't get their final paycheck. They were afraid that their boss was joking and might forget about it.

"How about this? One of you can go and drive them over," Liu Yuxuan said, seeing how anxious they were.

"You are the kindest boss in the world," García hugged Liu Yuxuan and kissed him on the cheek.

"Damn it, García, watch it. I have a girlfriend too, you know. I'm not from the mountain of back-to-back," Liu Yuxuan wiped the spot where García had kissed him.

García didn't care what his boss said; he was too happy. Driving to pick them up would save a lot of trouble.

In the end, García decided to go pick up the two girlfriends, while Rodríguez stayed to work on the farm. Liu Yuxuan had wanted both to go, as the farm's pickup truck could fit them all.

However, the two insisted. The round trip would take more than three hours, and if both went, no one would be left to take care of the cattle. They didn't dare to let their boss do it himself; that would be too much.

Liu Yuxuan didn't think much about it and, seeing that he couldn't persuade them, let them have their way.

Around 6 PM, García drove back with the two girlfriends.

Both were very attractive. The taller one was Rodríguez's girlfriend, named Heather. The slightly shorter one was García's girlfriend, named Sharon.

Both only had small travel bags, indicating they had left in a hurry.

"Don't be shy. You can treat this place like your own home," Liu Yuxuan said, seeing their nervousness.

Dinner was prepared by Liu Yuxuan, steamed dumplings. He believed that dumplings best represented Chinese cuisine, just like how people ate dumplings during the New Year.

"Later, let them introduce you to our farm. They know more about it than I do, the farm owner," Liu Yuxuan said with a self-deprecating smile, then continued, "In the future, you two will be responsible for the organic vegetables. Your salary will be the same as theirs. You've had a long day, so you can go to bed early. Don't worry about me."

"Don't worry, boss. They grew up in the countryside and won't mess things up," García said, patting his chest.

"Alright, go on, go on. I know you don't want to stay with me. You can decide how to arrange things," Liu Yuxuan said, waving them off, seeing García's eager look.

"Alright, boss, we'll go first." The four said goodbye to Liu Yuxuan and went back to their room.

Liu Yuxuan didn't stay long and went to bed early. The emotional ups and downs of the day had left him tired.
