Wang Tiancheng stood at the classroom door, took a deep breath, and firmly held the letter containing the secret that his mother had given him.
It wasn't long before Long Hai walked in with a smile, and the super-large diamond ring that originally belonged to Liu Fang shone brightly on his hand. Wang Tiancheng's face turned ashen, and if Liu Fang hadn't been there, holding him back, he might have been unable to resist the urge to punch Long Hai.
"The situation isn't good. The Dongming case has already caused a nationwide sensation. Fortunately, I have a good friend who is the county magistrate in Fenglin County, Wanquan City. Go there first, and I'll transfer you back when there's an opportunity," Long Hai said while stroking the super-large diamond ring on his hand.
Liu Fang didn't want to send Tiancheng so far away, especially to another city, so she looked at Wang Tiancheng.
Wang Tiancheng, of course, understood Liu Fang's meaning. Not wanting to worry Liu Fang any further, he said straightforwardly, "Mom, it's already good enough. This ring has a lot of power."
Long Hai, hearing this, frowned slightly and looked at Wang Tiancheng. At that moment, Wang Tiancheng's eyes were full of hatred, clearly showing his dissatisfaction with Long Hai. But Long Hai wasn't afraid; he just kept it in mind. A young, inexperienced kid was nothing to fear.
Long Hai smiled slightly and said, "Report in tomorrow. From now on, it's up to you. Sister-in-law, I have something to attend to, so I'll be going." With that, Long Hai walked out of the private room. In the hallway, he muttered to himself, "Brat, you still think it's like before, daring to challenge me. I'll make you die without even knowing how."
Of course, Wang Tiancheng and his mother didn't hear this. Inside the private room, Liu Fang kept scolding Wang Tiancheng, blaming him for his lack of tact. Wang Tiancheng didn't mind; he had already made up his mind to fly to Wanquan City that day and leave this place of sorrow.
"Mom, come with me to Wanquan City. I'll take care of you," Wang Tiancheng said, gripping his mother's hand.
Liu Fang's eyes were a bit moist. She looked at Wang Tiancheng for a long time and said, "Call me if anything happens. I'll stay here and wait for your father."
At the international airport, Wang Tiancheng didn't let his mother see him off. He was afraid of getting emotional and wanted to leave on his own. He got out of the taxi with his backpack and slowly walked toward the airport terminal.
"Wang Tiancheng, I heard you're leaving. I, Liu Feng, specially came to see you off," Liu Feng said loudly as he walked up from behind, hugging the exceptionally alluring Xiao Mei. Behind him were over a dozen burly men.
Wang Tiancheng couldn't help but turn around. He understood what Liu Feng was up to. Bringing so many people, he clearly intended to beat him up and make him leave in sorrow. But Wang Tiancheng wasn't afraid. He had martial arts skills, and he was a different person now compared to this morning.
"Come on, then," Wang Tiancheng threw his backpack to the ground and stood there like an iron tower, his fists clenched tightly. With his fiery temper as a second-generation official, he would have charged forward long ago, but after his father's incident, Wang Tiancheng had learned to be patient, calm like a virgin and swift like a rabbit. This was his new way of doing things.
Liu Feng didn't expect Wang Tiancheng to be so straightforward. His face turned ashen. Liu Feng was tall but his steps were unsteady, clearly due to excessive indulgence in pleasure, which had drained his body.
Liu Feng didn't say anything, his lips twitching. He waved his hand, and the dozen or so men in black suits behind him rushed forward. Liu Feng, of course, knew that Wang Tiancheng could fight, but he didn't believe that Wang Tiancheng could handle these dozen men. He hugged Xiao Mei's smooth waist and watched from the side.
Wang Tiancheng had been in a bad mood for the past two days, and this was a good opportunity to vent. His punches were merciless, and his strength was astonishing. He fought without restraint, and within ten minutes, all the men were on the ground. Wang Tiancheng looked at the dozen or so people lying on the ground and walked toward Liu Feng.
Liu Feng's eyes widened in disbelief at Wang Tiancheng's powerful punches. But the reality was right in front of him. His legs trembled, knowing that he was about to suffer. His legs gave out, and he knelt down.
Wang Tiancheng sneered, looking at the pale-faced Liu Feng. He felt that Liu Feng wasn't even worthy of being his opponent, too weak. But Wang Tiancheng wanted to give him a punishment. He kicked Liu Feng with a powerful foot, sending him flying into a car and then falling to the ground, screaming in pain.
After dealing with Liu Feng, Wang Tiancheng looked at Xiao Mei. Her beautiful face was terrified. She knelt down in front of Wang Tiancheng, trembling and said, "Tiancheng, I'll follow you from now on. Please spare me."
Wang Tiancheng sneered, not even looking at Xiao Mei, and walked away. Such a woman wasn't even worth his attention.
The plane took off, and Wang Tiancheng felt the distance between him and the city growing. He could finally leave this city and start a new life. The future might be full of thorns, but Wang Tiancheng would rather be injured by thorns than live a boring life.
"Big brother, you were really amazing just now. Can you tell me your name?" A very pretty girl sitting next to Wang Tiancheng said with a smile.
Wang Tiancheng was so engrossed in his thoughts that he hadn't noticed the pretty girl sitting next to him. He couldn't help but look over. The girl was about seventeen or eighteen years old, with two large braids that were quite noticeable. Her face was innocent, making her stand out in the midst of the world's superficiality.
"My name is Wang Tiancheng," Wang Tiancheng smiled slightly and said simply.
"My name is Lin Xuan. I'm very happy to meet you. Can you teach me?" Lin Xuan said happily, clearly interested in Wang Tiancheng.
"Xuan, how can you be so impolite?" A man in his fifties behind Lin Xuan said sternly.
"Dad, you always scold me. I didn't say anything wrong," Lin Xuan pouted, clearly dissatisfied.
Wang Tiancheng couldn't help but turn around and look at the man behind him. He felt that the man's eyes were very deep, giving off an unfathomable feeling. This was the first time Wang Tiancheng had seen such a person. He had seen a similar look in his father's eyes before, which was quite familiar, but this man's eyes were even sharper.
Wang Tiancheng didn't dare to think further and said politely, "It's fine. Kids are just curious."
"You're the one who's a kid. I'm almost twenty," Lin Xuan pouted, a bit angry.
