Li Han patted his forehead. Anderson was not only of German descent but also a stubborn and conservative old German man. He smiled and said,

"This is the land of beer, the taste must be great. I should try a glass."

"Perhaps, I hope it won't disappoint you." Liu Ming and Li Han approached the dining table. There wasn't much alcohol, just a large wooden barrel of beer, a few bottles of whiskey, and mostly fresh apple juice.

Li Han took a glass and poured himself a beer. The color was good, and after a taste, it was decent. "It's pretty good, want to try a glass?"

Liu Ming shook his head with a smile and said, "I can't stand the bitterness, I'll have some whiskey instead." Liu Ming poured himself a glass of whiskey and walked over to chat with some friends, leaving Li Han to savor the slightly bitter German beer alone.

While chatting, Andrei noticed Li Han sitting alone by the table. He apologized to his friends and walked over. Liu Ming smiled and gestured for Andrei to join Li Han, then moved to chat with a few other friends. "Andrei, would you like a beer?"

"Of course," Andrei took a glass and poured himself a beer, downing a whole glass in one go and wiping the foam from his mouth. "Hey, it's a wonderful taste, Han, how do you find it?" Li Han nodded. "It's pretty good, a nice beer." "Han, would you like another glass? This is pure German beer." Andrei poured another glass and asked with a smile.

"Oh, no, I think this is enough, thank you, Andrei." Li Han took a sip of the beer, which was a bit too bitter and lacked some aroma, but it was much better than the beer at Jack's bar.

"That's too bad, Han, not being able to share this delicious beer." Andrei looked disappointed and called over a few friends, then suddenly remembered something. "Han, I heard from Ronald that you built a small brewery on your farm. I hope I can taste the wonderful beer someday."

"Of course, I think so," Li Han said with a smile. While talking to Li Han, Anderson came over with a few friends. "Oh, Han, would you like another glass?" Anderson took a few glasses and poured some beer, handing them to his friends. "This is pure German beer from a friend of mine. Oh, right, Han, I heard you have a small brewery."

Li Han nodded with a smile. "Yes, it's a small brewery with an annual production of three thousand barrels." "Oh, is it the Hank Farm Brewery? That's incredible," one of Anderson's friends said in surprise.

Anderson and Andrei, along with a few others, looked at the middle-aged white man who spoke. "That's right, it's the Hank Farm Brewery," Li Han said with a slight smile. The man's eyes showed surprise, and a hint of something else, perhaps thinking that an Asian person couldn't brew beer.

Deko, a German-American from the small town of Burton, saw everyone looking at him and mentioned the rumor that Li Han and Master Ottomann might compete in the beer festival. Anderson and his friends looked at each other with a mix of surprise and disbelief. It was hard to believe that Li Han's newly built small brewery would compete against the century-old Ottomann family. "That's impressive, Han, I wish you success."

"Thank you, Mr. Anderson. I'm sorry, I need to leave now," Li Han said with a smile and walked over to Liu Ming. "Han, how do you feel?"

"Pretty good, at least they're all gentlemen, right?"

Li Han could sense a hint of something else in their eyes, but of course, everyone might think he was overestimating himself. "By the way, thanks for helping me out. So, no girls you like?"

"No, all the girls here are very friendly, I like them all."

Liu Ming took a small sip of his whiskey, and Li Han shook his head. Liu Ming gave off a mysterious vibe, sometimes deep, sometimes shallow. Li Han pinched his chin and looked around the ranch. "Hey, Han, there you are. Doudou and I have been looking for you. Han, tell me more about China, okay?"

Liu Ming shrugged and raised an eyebrow, giving Li Han a look that said, "You're good." He then disappeared. Li Han was amused by Liu Ming's strange behavior. "Sure, Doudou, do you need Dad to help you with the apple juice?"

Doudou nodded blankly, her tummy bulging. Li Han turned to Dolores. "Dolores, I need to help Doudou with the apple juice. Can we talk about China later?"

"Oh, I'll help you, Doudou. Auntie Lis will help you, okay?" Dolores smiled and pinched Doudou's little cheek. Doudou pouted. "No, Lis isn't an aunt, she's a big sister." Doudou was unhappy and pushed Dolores' hand away, pouting. "She's a big sister, not an aunt."

"Is that so, little one?" Dolores was surprised by Doudou's strength. The two little ones started to play, and Li Han's head ached.

"Alright, Lis, let's talk about China. Doudou, Michelle is calling you over." "Okay, I'll go. Dad, Lis big sister, see you later." "Yes, little aunt, got it?" Lis pinched Doudou's cheek, and Doudou swatted her hand away. "Doudou knows, Lis big sister." Doudou wiggled her little bottom and ran off, making Dolores stomp her feet in frustration. Li Han was amused.

"Han." "Hehe, I'm not laughing, Lis. Doudou is right, you're still a child." Li Han shook his head, and Lis blushed. "Hmph, I'm eleven, I'm not a child anymore."

"Alright, Miss Lis, let's talk about Chinese mythology, then." "Sure, sure." Li Han rubbed his forehead. She was indeed a child. Li Han was kept busy by Dolores for a while until Andrei's son David came over, and he was finally free.

"Pretty good, Han, don't you think she's cute?" Liu Ming walked over with a glass of wine. Li Han was speechless. This guy was always around, was he watching him the whole time? "Of course, she's a cute little girl."

Liu Ming smiled. "Oh, right, Anderson invited me to the apple orchard. You want to build an orchard, right? Let's go together?"

"You know, that's impressive. Of course, I wouldn't want to miss such a good opportunity."

Li Han took the apple juice Doudou handed him. "Would you like a glass of apple juice?" "No, I don't like apples." Liu Ming shook his head.

"That's hard to imagine. Well, it actually tastes pretty good." Li Han patted Doudou's little head.

"Come, Doudou, this is Uncle Liu Ming." "Hello, Uncle Liu Ming." "What a cute child, I'm a bit envious, Han. Doudou, Uncle will give you a gift later." Liu Ming smiled and shook Doudou's little hand.

"Okay, Dad, Uncle Liu Ming praised Doudou." Doudou looked up at her father. "This girl can't handle compliments. Did you thank Uncle?" "Yes, thank you, Uncle Liu Ming."

Liu Ming pointed at Li Han and laughed. "Don't you know how to be modest?" "Why not? Shouldn't an uncle give a gift to his niece the first time they meet?" "Alright, Han, let's take a walk after the party."

Li Han nodded. Liu Ming seemed to have something to discuss with him. Li Han held Doudou's hand and followed Liu Ming, Anderson, and others to the apple orchard. Anderson's orchard was one of the largest in Montana, a vast expanse of apple trees, mostly Red Delicious, with a few Golden Delicious and Red Jade. Walking through the orchard, rows of apple trees lined the paths, and the sun's rays mixed with the mist from the smart irrigation system, creating beautiful rainbows. It was truly beautiful.

"Pretty good," Liu Ming and Li Han agreed. Anderson smiled and introduced Liu Ming to the various equipment, types of apple trees, and their ages, as well as the production process and seasonal considerations. Liu Ming was buying organic, high-end apples, which required high quality and, of course, a higher price. "In October, the whole orchard will be red, it will be beautiful," Li Han said with a smile.

"Han, I'll invite you to pick apples then." Dolores smiled and hugged Li Han's arm. Doudou, unhappy, held her father's left hand. "Bad big sister, I won't play with you." Dolores was amused by Doudou and made a funny face, making Doudou pout even more.

Li Han was amused by the two little ones. After visiting the orchard, they drove back to the ranch. After the party, Michelle gave Doudou a gallon of freshly squeezed apple juice and a bag of apples, and Doudou was very happy, hugging Michelle.

What Li Han didn't expect was that Liu Ming gave Doudou two white baby llamas, about the size of small lambs. Doudou was overjoyed, hugging the llamas all the way. The white wolf lay down, eyes half-closed, watching Liu Ming, making Liu Ming's hair stand on end.

After getting out of the car, Liu Ming rubbed his arm and said, "Han, that big guy's eyes are pretty scary." "Hehe, that's Doudou's guard dog. Don't worry, did you really come just for a beer?" Li Han poured two glasses of beer and handed one to Liu Ming. "Of course."

Liu Ming and the middle-aged white man finished their beer and nodded. "Han, I'll leave first. I'll send you a gift in a few days." "Thanks, I don't think I need anything." "You will." Liu Ming and the middle-aged white man had another beer and left. Li Han was puzzled, a truly strange person.

On the way, Liu Ming asked the white man beside him, "How was it?" "Not bad, but the chances of winning are only fifty-fifty. You should know many judges prefer German beer," the middle-aged white man said.

"Oh, I see." Liu Ming's lips curled into a playful smile. "Surprising, an interesting person."
