"Hey! New kid, break time is over, it's time for you to get moving!"

It was probably the next morning. I don't know who knocked on my door, but it was then forcibly pulled open.

I hadn't slept well in this hellish place. Anyone who had lost their parents, heard a bunch of nonsense from a stranger, and ended up in a completely bizarre place wouldn't have slept soundly.

When I walked out of the room, still half-asleep, I saw that everyone passing by was a burly man, and some of them clearly weren't Asian, with body hair almost as thick as my hair.

These people looked at me as if I were air, and I looked at them the same way.

When I followed these fierce men to a vast underground hall, I saw an instructor whose physique was beyond imagination, almost like a mahjong tile magnified by several times.

The instructor was dressed in an old military uniform, so old that it was impossible to tell which country it was from. He swept his gaze over everyone entering the underground hall and said in a cold, merciless tone, "You have a carnival today. It starts in ten minutes. Anyone who enters here can attack anyone without limit. The game ends when ten people die! The clock starts now. Get your act together, or you'll be one of the dead."

When I heard the instructor's words, my heart twitched.

"Kill!"

I wanted revenge and had thought about killing, but I wasn't ready to kill.

I had wanted to kill Loki countless times, but killing Loki and killing a person were two different things. Just ten minutes of preparation was of no use to me; it was impossible to become heartless and kill without hesitation in just ten minutes.

I was already somewhat numb, and after hearing the instructor's words, I became even more so, standing there for ten minutes without any reaction.

When the instructor shouted, "Begin!"

A massive fist slammed into my face, and I flew over ten meters, crashing into the wall. When I was hit in the head, I didn't feel any pain at first; the pain only became clear a moment later. The unprecedented sensation made me feel like I was going to die.

My face was a mess, with my nose, teeth, and jawbone all mashed into a pulp. If nothing unexpected happened, I would have struggled for a moment and then died. But coincidentally, another unfortunate soul was also slammed over.

The golden shroud wrapped around my wrist sensed the smell of blood and silently extended.

When the golden shroud touched the body of the unfortunate soul, it immediately sprouted many fine tendrils and began to voraciously consume flesh and blood. Strangely, every bit of flesh and blood the golden shroud consumed gave me more strength. Even my mangled face, which looked like a pile of mud, began to slowly but steadily recover.

As I regained more consciousness, the pain became even more intense, making me want to roll on the ground. Only the last bit of clarity in my mind made me forcibly suppress this foolish impulse.

"Damn! Time's up!"

The golden shroud quietly retracted, and I held my face, struggling to stand up. Although some people noticed that I was still alive, no one interfered.

In less than a minute, this place turned into a gruesome battlefield. One person was torn in half, and the other death slots were filled with equally tragic scenes. However, the most pitiful were those who were still alive but severely injured; they looked even more unbearable than the dead.

The dead were silent, but these people screamed like ghosts, making me want to cover my ears and never hear such sounds again. The hysterical cries of the severely injured sent a chill through my bones.

The instructor paid no attention to these people, looking at a smart tablet he had somehow taken out and said with a cold laugh, "You brats aren't bad. The previous activity was just an appetizer. Now we start today's formal training. Today is combat training. Face the wall and find your spot!"

I endured the intense pain in my face, found a wall, and leaned against it to try to recover my strength.

Next to me was a foreigner whose body hair gleamed with a golden light. He bared his teeth at me, revealing white, beast-like teeth. I had no time to pay attention to him; every breath I took pulled at my wounds, causing my whole body to spasm in pain. At this moment, it would be a miracle if I could focus on anything else.

The instructor's voice soon rang in our ears again. He chuckled and said, "The wall you face will have its own life points, which is ten thousand points..." As he spoke, the wall in front of me lit up, and the number "10000" appeared.

Before I could think about how such an unscientific thing could happen, I heard the instructor's cold, merciless voice say, "Your task is to reduce these ten thousand life points to zero. I don't care how you do it, but those who don't complete the task by eleven won't get lunch!"

Without thinking, I punched the wall. The intense pain in my fist made me realize that the wall, while strange, was as hard as real stone. I had put all my strength into that punch, but the damned number didn't budge at all.

The golden-haired foreigner next to me also punched the wall fiercely, and the number on his wall dropped by three digits. His punch was many times stronger than mine. Recalling the punch that had hit my face, I couldn't help but draw a sharp breath. I had no doubt that this golden-haired foreigner's punch could also blow anyone's head apart.

"What the hell kind of human hell is this? These people are living devils!"

I turned my head, looked at the wall in front of me and the huge number, took a deep breath of the foul air, and cleared all杂念 from my mind, saying to myself fiercely, "You want revenge, don't be afraid to become a devil. Crush it, damn number!"

I punched the wall fiercely, but it didn't budge, and the number "10000" remained unchanged, as if coldly mocking my overconfidence!
