Five years passed in a flash.

This year, Chen Feng is sixteen years old.

The worthless Yan Qingyu, who died five years ago, and his worthless disciple have almost been forgotten by the people of the Qianyuan Sect.

The night was as still as water. Chen Feng suddenly opened his eyes, and a sharp light shot from them.

He stood up, bowed to the tombstone, and said softly, "Master, five years have passed. I must follow your command and dig up your grave. I hope you will not blame me."

After saying this, he began to dig the earth and excavate the grave.

When he opened the grave and pried open the coffin, his eyes immediately showed shock.

Yan Qingyu's body had vanished.

He could hardly believe it, as he had personally buried his master's body.

He jumped down and found a small box at the bottom of the coffin. Opening the wooden box, he saw a fist-sized small tripod cauldron laid on a yellow silk.

The bronze cauldron was covered in rust, with three legs and a round ear, its shape ancient and filled with the mysterious aura of the ancient wilderness.

Inside the cauldron, a drop of something resembling blood was suspended.

Just one glance at that drop of mysterious dragon blood made his mind explode with a thunderous sound, and he instantly lost consciousness.

He felt as if he had been thrown into an endless world of ink-black darkness. The sky was ink-black, with ink-black whirlpools spreading across the horizon, constantly spinning.

Beneath his feet was an endless black plain, desolate and bleak.

At the end of the plain, there was a black mountain range, taller than the Qinglin Mountains where the Qianyuan Sect was located, towering more than ten thousand feet high and stretching for thousands of miles.

When he approached the mountain range, it suddenly moved!

The mountain range lifted its head, which turned out to be an enormous dragon's head! Just the head was larger than the highest peak in the Great Qin Kingdom.

The black mountain range that stretched for thousands of miles was actually the dragon's body.

The dragon let out a long roar, and a torrential rain fell, instantly turning the ground into an ocean, submerging Chen Feng.

Chen Feng couldn't breathe, almost suffocating, and felt unbearable pain.

After a long time, his head buzzed, and he struggled out of the deep-sea illusion, kneeling on the ground, gasping for breath, and sweating profusely.

He dared not look at the drop of blood again. What kind of creature's blood was this, so terrifying? One drop of blood was so powerful; what kind of creature could it be?

Could it be dragon blood?

But at that moment, the bronze cauldron, as if it were alive, flew into his hand and quickly disappeared into his palm.

Chen Feng was startled. He felt the cauldron moving up his right arm's meridians, and then intense pain spread through his body, as if he were being torn apart.

The pain made him roll on the ground, screaming. His skin and muscles split open, and blood gushed out, as if he were being flayed alive.

After half an hour, the cauldron moved up to his dantian.

Chen Feng felt a loud explosion in his mind, and he fainted.

When he woke up, it was already late at night. Chen Feng looked at his body and found his clothes were tattered, and his skin was covered in a layer of black, sticky, and foul-smelling substance.

But his body felt warm and light, incredibly comfortable, a sensation he had never experienced before.

Chen Feng looked inside his body and let out a joyful cry.

He discovered that his dantian, which was as hard as iron and had no space, had been opened.

Of course, only a very small part of the dantian, about the size of a fist, had been opened, and the bronze cauldron was floating inside. The drop of mysterious dragon blood was rolling and shimmering inside.

Suddenly, a strand of the dragon blood, as thin as a hair, emerged and began to move through his meridians. This strand contained immense power and vast true qi. The blockages in Chen Feng's meridians, which had been impervious to any force, were instantly shattered by this strand of dragon blood.

The pain came again, but Chen Feng endured it. He gritted his teeth, raised his head, and a voice in his mind shouted, "If you can't even bear this pain, how can you reach the peak?"

He clenched his teeth, and blood gushed from his mouth, his body trembling, but he finally endured it.

The intense pain came in waves, and he felt every part of his body being affected.

After half an hour, Chen Feng exhaled a long, turbid breath.

The mysterious dragon blood had traveled through his body at an incredible speed, and his blocked meridians were completely cleared.

If his meridians were previously like a clogged stream, now they were completely unblocked, though still narrow. True qi surged through them, and Chen Feng could even hear the sound of rushing water!

Chen Feng was incredibly excited. His body was now filled with true qi.

As the pain rapidly subsided, a smile appeared on his face, and he felt a surge of joy.

He roared to the sky, "I can cultivate now! My meridians are unblocked, and my dantian is open! I am no longer a waste!"

Tears streamed down his face. If not for his personal experience, who could understand his pain?

From a young age, his talent was extremely poor, and after ten years of cultivation, he made no progress, enduring humiliation and contempt, with no one looking up to him except his master. How great was this pain?

But now, he could finally cultivate.

True qi circulated through his meridians and returned to his dantian, where it surged and swelled, refusing to settle.

Chen Feng's mind stirred, and the true qi in his dantian began to flow, moving through his meridians. As the true qi moved, more true qi emerged from the corners of his meridians, joining the flow. The true qi grew stronger, quickly becoming as thick as a finger.

This true qi had accumulated from his daily cultivation.

Although his blocked meridians prevented him from making progress, the Beiduoluo Ye Jin Jing (Buddhist Leaf Golden Scripture) he practiced was incredibly powerful, not only solidifying his foundation but also allowing him to cultivate a significant amount of true qi, which was hidden throughout his body.

He had not noticed it before because his meridians were blocked, but now that the true qi could flow, it naturally appeared.

As the true qi flowed, Chen Feng felt a surge of power throughout his body.

He smiled with joy.

"What a miraculous cauldron, what a miraculous dragon blood! Just a strand of the dragon blood allowed me to break through! Of course, the Beiduoluo Ye Jin Jing also played a role. I always thought this scripture was useless, but now I see that I was wrong. The scripture is truly extraordinary, allowing me to cultivate true qi!"

"Moreover, the momentum has not yet dissipated, and it can still push me further!"

Chen Feng's mind stirred, and the true qi in his body surged like a fountain.

He had reached the second level of the Later Heaven Realm, but he was not satisfied and aimed to reach the third level!

To break through to the third level of the Later Heaven Realm required a vast amount of true qi. Chen Feng gathered all the true qi in his body, making it thicker, about the size of a thumb. He trembled violently, and his meridians groaned in pain as the true qi surged like a tidal wave.

He had clearly advanced to the third level of the Later Heaven Realm.

Chen Feng clenched his fists, feeling the surging power within him!

He suddenly threw a punch, and a loud explosion echoed in the air, causing a shockwave.

Chen Feng could feel that his punch had the force of 800 pounds, equivalent to the strength of one and a half tigers!

In the Later Heaven Realm, the first level had the strength of 100 pounds, the second level 200 pounds, the third level 500 pounds, the fourth level 1000 pounds, and so on. 500 pounds was the strength of one tiger, and although Chen Feng had just reached the third level, he had the strength of 800 pounds, far surpassing the average third-level cultivator!

He punched a tree beside the grave, and the tree, as thick as a bowl, was instantly broken in half.

Chen Feng laughed heartily, feeling incredibly elated.

From a waste who couldn't cultivate to a third-level Later Heaven Realm cultivator, how could he not be happy?

Moreover, not finding his master's body gave him a good guess.

"Master, where have you gone? Since your body is not in the grave, it seems you are not dead and left me this treasure. I am relieved. I will practice diligently and find you!"

Being able to cultivate and knowing his master was not dead made him naturally very happy.

Chen Feng searched the box again, confirming there was nothing else inside, and then put it back, reburied the grave.

He looked at the mud on his body, smelled the foul odor, and smiled bitterly, saying to himself, "Chen Feng, you are really dirty."

He turned around, found a nearby river, and jumped in to wash himself.

After washing thoroughly and changing into a simple but clean set of clothes, Chen Feng returned to the grave and lay down to sleep.
