Li Chong closed the door and looked down the corridor. He saw a thin young man pounding on the opposite door and wailing, "Open the door, open the door, I'm going to starve to death!!"

Lin Yun'er was the face of Girls' Generation, with a perfect profile and beautiful appearance. Even before the group debuted, she had gained fame through MVs and advertisements. Since debuting, she has been the member with the most appearances. Today, the other members were resting, but she still had to go to an appearance, only returning now. In the past few days, she also came back later than the others. Lin Yun'er would often mimic a boy's voice to tease the older members, as everyone had different schedules, so she managed to trick a few of them. Today, everyone was resting, so no one fell for Lin Yun'er's trick, which made this typically mischievous and sly girl quite frustrated.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Li Chong felt something was off. What was going on? He had been living here for over ten days and hadn't seen anyone living opposite.

It turned out that Li Chong's current schedule was to wake up around 7 in the morning, exercise, have breakfast, and then either stay at home or go out to deliver money. Once he went out, he often returned around 7 in the evening, following the principle of finishing all tasks in one go.

The neighbor opposite would leave around 9 in the morning and return after 10 in the evening, exhausted from a full day of appearances. So, in these ten days, the two households hadn't seen each other at all...

Lin Yun'er looked up and was startled to see Li Chong. Li Chong was wearing beach shorts, a large T-shirt, and slippers, with an unshaven face, looking like a creepy old man...

Lin Yun'er was a bit scared, but then she thought, "This 'boy' actually mistook me for a man. Have you ever seen such a beautiful 'man'?"

Li Chong was surprised by the young man in front of him. He was very handsome, thin and weak, with his long hair tied in a ponytail, carrying a black backpack, but with clear and handsome features, his skin glowing under the yellow light.

Li Chong touched his hair and said, "Hey, why are you wailing? Did you forget your keys? Want to go downstairs and eat something with me?" Li Chong thought this boy was too thin...

"No, Uncle, I have my keys. I was just playing with my family..." Lin Yun'er still used a boy's voice.

Li Chong, hearing this, didn't say anything and directly went to the elevator, saying as he walked, "Kids these days, boys are so pretty, how are girls supposed to live? No wonder so many people get plastic surgery."

Lin Yun'er, seeing Li Chong get into the elevator, quickly took out her keys from her backpack, opened the door, and ran into the dorm. Sunny and Sooyoung were sitting in the living room, eating snacks and watching TV. Sunny, seeing Lin Yun'er run in as if she had seen a pervert, asked, "What's wrong, our big beauty Lin encountered a pervert?"

"Ah, I've been calling for so long, why didn't anyone open the door for me?" Lin Yun'er shouted.

"If you don't want to wake up Jisoo, keep calling," Sooyoung said.

Lin Yun'er immediately covered her mouth, "Is Jisoo sleeping?" she whispered.

"Yes, she's been asleep for a long time. You know, whenever she has time, she sleeps," Sooyoung said to Lin Yun'er.

"You're still talking about it. I just met a creepy old man outside. He even wanted to take me out for a meal. If I hadn't reacted quickly, you wouldn't see me now," Lin Yun'er said, annoyed that the two in the living room were watching TV more than paying attention to her.

"Creepy old man? That's not possible. The security in our neighborhood is good, even though it's a bit old. How could a creepy old man get in?" Sunny was a bit skeptical.

"Really, really. Let me tell you, he's our neighbor, living right across from us," Lin Yun'er said, patting her chest.

This time, Sunny and Sooyoung looked at each other. A creepy old man was one thing, but if he lived right across from them, that was a problem. After all, neighbors see each other all the time. What if one of them went out alone and... The three girls in the living room shivered at the thought.

"Hey, where are Taeyeon and the others?" Lin Yun'er noticed that a few people were missing.

"Hyun is studying, Hyo-yun is playing PSP in her room, Taeyeon, Yoon-a, and Tiffany went downstairs to the supermarket. Tiffany has been on edge lately, so we thought of a small plan to get her out and relax," Sunny said.

"Uh, I saw that creepy old man go downstairs too. What if they run into him?" Lin Yun'er was a bit worried.

"Maybe we should call Taeyeon and tell them to be careful," Sooyoung thought it would be better to call and warn them.

At this moment, Li Chong had just bought cigarettes, lit one, and took a deep breath. "I should remember to keep some in stock; it's not good to run out of food," he thought as he walked towards a nearby street of small eateries.

"Hey, Uncle, Uncle?" a girl called out happily in front of Li Chong.

"Ah, Kwon Yoo-ri?" Li Chong was surprised to see the girl in front of him, also named Yoo-ri.

"Uncle remembers me? You're truly my first fan," Kwon Yoo-ri said excitedly.

"What time is it? Why are you out alone? Haven't you debuted yet?" Li Chong asked.

"Yes, I'm out with a few sisters, buying some late-night snacks. They asked me to come first, and I just finished," Kwon Yoo-ri explained, showing the food in her hands.

"Why are you here, Uncle?" Kwon Yoo-ri asked.

"I live nearby. I was writing and realized I was out of cigarettes and hungry, so I came out to find something to eat," Li Chong heard his stomach growling again.

"Is Uncle a novelist? Screenwriter? Editor?" Kwon Yoo-ri asked curiously.

"Me? Just a miscellaneous person, writing a bit to make some small money," Li Chong could already smell the stir-fried rice cakes from a nearby stall.

"Uh, what's Uncle's name? We're so fated, and I don't even know your name," Kwon Yoo-ri said.

"My name is Li Chong. I'm not as old as you think. You can call me oppa," Li Chong took the opportunity to change how the girl addressed him.

"No, no, I like calling you Uncle, it feels more comfortable," Kwon Yoo-ri pouted.

Li Chong felt he had met a peculiar person and could only nod helplessly. "Alright, you should go back early. I'm starving, I need to find something to eat," Li Chong thought if he stayed any longer, he wouldn't even have the energy to eat.

"Okay, Uncle, can I have your contact information? When we release our official album, I'll send you one," Kwon Yoo-ri said.

Li Chong left his phone number with Kwon Yoo-ri and quickly ran into the nearby stir-fried rice cake stall. Kwon Yoo-ri felt she was really lucky, as she had wanted to get Li Chong's name and contact information before, but it was too rushed. This time, they met by chance, which seemed to be fate.

Just as Kwon Yoo-ri was still delighted, Kim Taeyeon and Tiffany came back with large and small bags. "Yoo-ri, what are you daydreaming about? Come help us, we're exhausted," Taeyeon said, holding two large bags full of snacks and daily necessities.

"Earlier, Sooyoung called and told us to be careful. She said there's a creepy old man living across from us," Tiffany said.

"With me, a taekwondo practitioner, what's there to be afraid of?" Kwon Yoo-ri said confidently.
