Li Changyu led the few people to the living room, where Xu Meiyang and Li Zhong waited. Both sides greeted each other formally, especially the younger generation bowing 90 degrees to the elders.

"This is your son, truly a fine young man," Professor Yin said, looking at Li Zhong's 1.8-meter height, well-proportioned figure, and good looks, feeling quite satisfied.

"Your daughter is also beautiful and graceful, standing tall and elegant," Xu Meiyang said, looking at the girl standing beside her, with an oval face, smooth skin, delicate features, and a height of 1.65 meters, even without high heels, she was a good match for Li Zhong...

"Let's stop the pleasantries, sit down first. Li Zhong, you stay and chat with Uncle Yin. I'll go finish the fish, and then we can eat," Xu Meiyang gave Li Zhong a look, and Li Zhong sat down beside Professor Yin reluctantly. Professor Yin then sent his daughter to the kitchen to help Xu Meiyang.

"Are you Li Zhong? I heard you studied in the United States?" Professor Yin asked, looking at Li Zhong.

"Yes, Uncle Yin, I am Li Zhong. I graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, majoring in directing," Li Zhong answered formally.

Professor Yin and his wife exchanged a glance and nodded slightly, very satisfied with his educational background.

"What are you doing now? I heard you just finished your military service," Professor Yin asked again.

"Yes, I finished my military service in July last year. After that, I've been working as a film director, and I just finished shooting a movie recently," Li Zhong answered, giving the impression of maturity and stability.

Professor Yin then asked Li Zhong some other questions, while Li Changyu accompanied the diplomat Park.

In the kitchen, Xu Meiyang put on an apron again. "Aunt Xu, is there anything I can help you with?" the girl asked.

"Are you called Xixi?" Xu Meiyang remembered that Professor Yin mentioned his daughter's nickname was Xixi.

"Yes, you can call me Xixi. Do you know anyone else named Xixi?" the girl asked.

"My son's nickname is also Xixi, but it's a different character. When I called him by his nickname as a child, he always got upset," Xu Meiyang said with a smile.

Xixi glanced at Li Zhong sitting beside her father in the living room, her eyes filled with interest.

Xu Meiyang then told Xixi many embarrassing and funny stories about Li Zhong. "Hehe, call Li Zhong in to help bring the dishes to the dining room," Xu Meiyang said, noticing Xixi's growing interest in Li Zhong.

"Okay, Aunt Xu," Xixi said, blushing slightly.

Li Zhong heard a gentle and delicate voice and turned to look at the kitchen. It was the girl calling him. "Sorry, Uncle Yin, I'll be right back," Li Zhong said politely to Professor Yin.

"The dishes should be ready. Let's go to the dining room," Li Changyu estimated the time, thinking the dishes were almost done.

Li Zhong entered the kitchen and helped bring the dishes to the dining room. Xixi's eyes were fixed on Li Zhong, and the four adults noticed. Li Zhong silently repeated, "I can't see me, I can't see me, I can't see me..."

With all the dishes ready, everyone sat down, the Li family on one side and the Yin family on the other. Li Zhong and Xixi sat opposite each other. The meal seemed relaxed on the surface, and Li Zhong was very considerate, serving Xixi dishes and soup, which he found awkward but did meticulously under Xu Meiyang's threatening gaze.

After the meal, Xu Meiyang talked with Professor Yin about school matters, and Li Zhong sat upright, his good upbringing impressing the Yin family.

Finally, after seeing off the Yin family, Li Zhong let out a long breath. "I'm so tired... Mom, can you not be so old-fashioned? A family match? I almost went crazy thinking about it just now..." Li Zhong slumped on the sofa, endlessly complaining.

"What, you don't want me to be happy?" Xu Meiyang kicked Li Zhong's leg when she saw him slouching.

"Ah..." Li Zhong was frustrated. A match? Happy? What does that mean?

"Professor Yin is a new professor in the drama and film department at the school. He taught at Central University for 10 years and always praised his daughter for being so beautiful and smart. I got tired of hearing it. When I heard from your father that you were coming back today, I decided to let you take him down a notch..." Xu Meiyang explained.

Li Zhong was speechless. "What kind of reason is that? You don't like others boasting, so you use your son to take down their daughter?" Li Zhong said dejectedly. He was speechless. It seemed that the cost of having a meal with his mother was quite high.

"What? Do you have a thing for the girl? It's possible, since she's also called Xixi, you two might be a good match!" Xu Meiyang teased.

"You know I wouldn't like that, yet you still brought them over. It seems you really want to see your son suffer..." Li Zhong was too tired to complain.

"That's right. I wanted to see how you would reject the girl. I noticed that Xixi seemed to like you a lot..." Xu Meiyang said with a smile.

"Dad, your wife is going to kill me!!! Hurry up and help me..." Li Zhong shouted towards the kitchen.

"Son, you have to handle this yourself. I can't help, but I can remind you that Park Mi-yeon's brother is a board member of the Cultural Broadcasting Promotion Association, and he seems to have some influence over certain matters," Li Changyu, wearing an apron and holding a half-washed plate, said.

"Ah... God, are you planning to kill me?" Li Zhong felt his intelligence was not enough. Dealing with an inexperienced girl was easy, but her father and uncle were both influential in the film industry.

"Son, you've been gone for three years. You only called a few times. Do you think you've done enough for us?" Xu Meiyang said in a low voice.

Li Zhong was speechless. There was no scolding, no difficulty, just a small issue, but for Li Zhong, it wasn't a big deal. He could tease CJ Entertainment, so this was just a bit more trouble...

"Son, if you follow my arrangements, I'll help you with this..." Li Changyu poked his head out of the kitchen again.

"Stop it, Dad. Don't talk about your plans. I'll go my own way. As for these troublesome matters, let them be troublesome," Li Zhong quickly pushed Li Changyu's idea back. Li Changyu had been trying to get Li Zhong to take over his business, a teahouse with a long history, since Li Zhong was less than ten years old. Unfortunately, Li Zhong was never interested, rarely visiting it, and instead made Yuen Bo's café his base. So whenever Li Changyu mentioned it, Li Zhong immediately pushed it back.

"Let me know when you've thought it through..." Li Changyu's voice came from the kitchen.

"Ah... By the way, Mom, I bought you a high-quality Pu'er tea brick. I'll brew some for you to try later?" Li Zhong decided to put the troubles aside and focus on the New Year first.
