Peng Ci didn’t know that its unintentional words of love made An Xingzhou’s heart skip a beat. It clung onto An Xingzhou’s hand and looked at the product descriptions, even patting his hand to make An Xingzhou hold the phone properly. It personally reached out to scroll down little by little.

An Xingzhou felt like he had become an emotionless phone stand. The warm, handsome guy he was in the middle of imagining instantly dissipated, and Peng Ci became a little brat who was wearing diapers, sitting on the floor, and making a scene.

Peng Ci noticed that An Xingzhou was lost in thought and patted An Xingzhou a few times again. “Wife! Buy this one!”

An Xingzhou lowered his head and took a look, seeing that Peng Ci chose the most ordinary red, long ribbon made of satin fabric. Words could be sewn on for free, and the price was average.

An Xingzhou actually felt a little unaccustomed to not feeling the fear of Peng Ci having to use a descending price order while shopping.

He sent the words to sew on to the merchant and rubbed Peng Ci’s ears in the time that he was waiting for a response, asking, “Why did you buy something so cheap this time? It’s just a little over ten yuan.”

An Xingzhou couldn’t help pressing his tongue against his teeth after he said it. ‘I’m done for. I really got swept away. I actually said that a ribbon that cost over ten yuan is cheap?! This just costs two yuan at a street stall! And it’d be for a huge roll too!’

Peng Ci nodded and said naturally, “Because Ci Ci doesn’t have money anymore! I could buy the most expensive things when I had money before, since I can make it up if I spend Wife’s money. But I gave all my money to Wife, so Wife has to spend it now!”

When Peng Ci said that, it was extremely happy with its head shaking and its round eyes bright.

An Xingzhou brushed Peng Ci’s fur and settled the word-sewing matter. He raised his leg and jolted Peng Ci, seeing that Peng Ci didn’t have its guard up for a moment. It jolted upwards and crashed straight into his arms, screaming. He immediately hugged Peng Ci and laughed.

When they finished playing around, he told the merchant that he would pay more on his side for the fastest delivery.

Since Peng Ci was looking forward to this present so much, he would do his best to let Peng Ci get what it wanted as soon as possible.

When An Xingzhou finished buying the ribbon, he suddenly remembered and asked, “Ci Ci, how did you know that other pets all have collars?”

“I saw it on Weibo!” Peng Ci stood up and pulled its phone off of the table, picking it up with its mouth to put it on An Xingzhou’s thigh. Treating An Xingzhou’s thigh as a table, it reached out its claws to click on Weibo and gestured to An Xingzhou to look.

An Xingzhou felt a little dizzy from lowering his head and looking at the phone, so he just held Peng Ci, raising the phone in front of them like before. The human and rabbit pair looked at it together.

Peng Ci’s Weibo account was a mess. It followed anyone, but mainly they were cute pets, ranging from cats to dogs to parrots to lizards to porcupines to foxes. It could be said there were only accounts that you couldn’t imagine and nothing that Peng Ci couldn’t follow.

An Xingzhou looked at the cute pet photos on the homepage and finally knew why Peng Ci insisted on having a collar. Most of the pets were wearing distinctive accessories, so Peng Ci had gotten green with envy.

It was easy to tell what Peng Ci was thinking. Peng Ci smiled and scrolled down casually, but then he suddenly stopped.

He looked at the photo of a beautiful white cat that was lying on a recliner alluringly to tan in the sun and fell silent for a few seconds. He glanced at the account name and fell back into a long silence.

An Xingzhou couldn’t resist clicking the comment section in his silence and saw that there was a stream of comments complimenting the kitty as “having god-like beauty”. He fell silent once again.

“Um…” An Xingzhou was lost in thought for a long time and clicked the cat’s profile. There were all kinds of beautiful photos, and he got even more lost in thought as he looked. Finally, he still asked with difficulty, “Ci Ci… is this… the Cheshire Kitty who brought your money over?”

“Yeah!” Peng Ci said, “It is Cheshire Kitty. Cheshire Kitty is an Internet celebrity. It has a lot of followers because it’s so good-looking!”

An Xingzhou: “…”

S-such an Internet celebrity! It was too much of a f***ing celebrity! So f***king good-looking!

Tears rolled down his face as he, knowing the truth, cried like the ugly Cheshire Kitty did while frowning.

Peng Ci reached over and exited Cheshire Kitty’s profile, clicking its own account. After it rubbed against An Xingzhou, it said, “Wife, don’t look at Cheshire Kitty! Look at me! I have photos too!”

Hearing Peng Ci say that, An Xingzhou’s heart immediately started drumming with anxiety as Peng Ci’s selfies floated through his mind one by one like a filmstrip.

He raised his head while nursing the hopes that it wouldn’t be like that, but what greeted his eyes was Peng Ci wearing the rose-printed silk cape. It was the photo that was covered with the green butterfly filter that Peng Ci had strongly asked him to take.

Peng Ci had even set this photo as its profile picture.

An Xingzhou: “…”

Peng Ci showed An Xingzhou its photos and asked in confusion, “Why does Cheshire Kitty have so many more followers than me?! Ci Ci’s photos are good-looking too! Right, Wife?”

An Xingzhou opened his mouth, but he just couldn’t say “Yes.”

The worst part of the reverse image retouching was that Peng Ci was f-following Cheshire Kitty!

But after the past few days, An Xingzhou had already comprehended the way of survival. He switched to another way of talking so the innocent little bunny bun wouldn’t notice, and said firmly, “Yeah, you’re a lot better looking than Cheshire Kitty!”

That way, he wouldn’t feel guilty; Peng Ci was better looking than that ugly cat!

As expected, Peng Ci didn’t notice anything wrong with An Xingzhou and shook its tail very happily. “Right?! Wife has shuch good taste!”

An Xingzhou: “…Ha. Haha.”

‘I suspect that you’re being sarcastic, but I don’t have evidence.’

Peng Ci showed its photos to An Xingzhou one by one before it turned to look at An Xingzhou, saying with hearts in its eyes, “Wife, we haven’t followed each other yet!”

An Xingzhou: “…”

‘I-it’s just that I don’t really want to follow you. I’m worried everyone will think there’s a problem with my aesthetics.’

Peng Ci didn’t understand An Xingzhou’s difficulties at all. It did whatever it’s one track mind thought of and immediately searched up An Xingzhou’s account.

Peng Ci had seen An Xingzhou’s account during a live stream before and still remembered it. After finding An Xingzhou’s profile, it immediately pressed “follow” and waited for An Xingzhou to do so with great anticipation.

An Xingzhou felt a slight headache, but with Peng Ci watching, he had to take out his phone, log in, and follow Peng Ci back.

‘I’ll block Peng Ci’s account later,’ An Xingzhou thought. ‘I won’t allow photos like these to taint my line of sight.’

Seeing An Xingzhou follow him, Peng Ci’s ears immediately trembled happily, another idea instantly appearing in its mind. “Wife, share my selfies!”

‘If Wife’s account has my selfies, then everyone who follows Wife will know that I’m Wife’s bunny bun!”

An Xingzhou: “…”

An Xingzhou immediately started using his brain and quickly figured out Peng Ci’s goal. With a swoosh, he found the picture of Peng Ci being stuck in the storage shelf that he posted on Weibo to ask for a break and said preemptively, “Look, I posted your picture before, so everyone knows you’re my rabbit!”

Peng Ci took a look and immediately burst with joy, rubbing against An Xingzhou crazily and throwing the matter of making An Xingzhou share its selfies to the back of its mind. “Thank you, Wife! I’ll love Wife forever!”

An Xingzhou immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

But what he didn’t know was that his fans had noticed that the number of people he was following had increased by one and instantly flipped Peng Ci’s account upside, coming to one conclusion: Xing Xing’s husband has such unsophisticated aesthetics!
