Chapter 16 - Charging In the Teacher’s Dormitory

Yang Hao thought of taking revenge against Fang Qing Qing first, then go to the dining hall.

The female teacher’s dormitory did not have many people inside. The space inside was also smaller, allowing him to easily kill any zombies inside. He could also observe the situation on the other side.

Now, it was hard to tell if he could even enter.

When he was thinking of a way to go in, Fang Qing Qing’s nauseating voice echoed to his ear.

“Yang Hao quickly come up and save me out of here! Yesterday night, someone went out to find food, but they were bitten by the zombies. Now, zombies are all outside! Hurry up and quickly save me!”

She was clearly on the brink of death, yet she still won’t change her haughty attitude and still wanted to treat Yang Hao as her slave.

This was bullying to the extreme.

Hearing the voice, Yang Hao was thinking if he should go or not as he saw the zombies below that were crazily trying to reach toward Fang Qing Qing’s room.

Under the crowding, some zombies had been squeezed upward, allowing them to climb a bit upwards.

Seeing this scene, the female teachers hiding inside were all startled to the point that they all hid without emitting a single sound.

Fang Qing Qing’s expression had a huge change as she also looked down. She became extremely afraid and once again shrieked at Yang Hao.

“Yang Hao, quickly save me. Immediately! Right now! Do you even want to continue working under me?!”

Before she could finish, she saw a zombie had reached the second floor. She was startled and immediately closed the window, not daring to stay cocky.

However, the zombies would not give up, they kept squeezing against each other. In order to eat the living, they used all their efforts to keep climbing.

Seeing this situation, Yang Hao, who wanted to say that it serves her right, instantly thought of Teacher Huang Qin from yesterday’s event. He felt that he should at least go in to stop the zombies from climbing up.

He checked his surroundings and took out the luojin sturdy crossbow from his back. He loaded three arrows and shot towards the head of the topmost zombie.

Splutter!

Separated by a distance of more than 40 meters, the bolt had struck the zombie’s body and sunk within.

This was the first time he was using the crossbow. He did not yet have much skill with it, thus wasting an arrow as he missed the head.

Whoosh!

He raised the crossbow slightly and once again shot the bow. This time, he was able to hit the back of the zombie’s head, causing the arrow to bury at least three inches.

Roll….

The zombie was not able to persist for long and rolled down from the top.

Even if one of them died, the zombies behind did not know fear and climbed up with all their strength, wishing to eat human meat.

Yang Hao could see the situation clearly. This was a good chance for him to train his accuracy.

He would naturally not let this opportunity go. He kept on loading up the luojin sturdy crossbow and continuously shot at the zombies.

Splutter. Splutter……”

Yang Hao’s hit rate was getting higher and higher, It was already close to 100 percent hit rate.

However, Yang Hao looked at the pile of dead zombies on the ground. He felt rather gloomy as he looked at the large pile of attribute balls, but he did not dare go and pick them up.

Just like that, he had killed more than fifty zombies leaving him with a bit less than forty bolts. The zombies that were climbing up had also been eliminated.

“Good job Yang Hao! I knew that you would not leave me behind! As long as you save me, I will make you the team leader of the dorm caretakers!”

Fang Qing Qing once again opened her window, extended her head, and shouted towards Yang Hao.

“Go fuck yourself, Fang Qing Qing. Can’t you calm down a bit!”

“Yang Hao, ignore her. She is a disgusting piece of trash. You should quickly leave!”

“Fang Qing Qing, have some face! If you shout again, you would just be provoking the zombies to come up!”

This time, Yang Hao was not the only one who was angry. Even the female teachers inside the dormitory were loudly cursing her.

Among them, Teacher Huang Qin’s advice made Yang Hao feel at ease.

He could put off revenge for now. At the very least, he must help save the good teacher that helped him.

An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, and returning kindness with kindness.

This was Yang Hao’s nature. He could care less about other matters.

He looked at the surroundings of the building. There were less than 300 zombies that had crowded one area, but it looked as if he could enter from the second floor.

He believed in his strength.

Yang Hao quietly slid down the tree and grasped the half-moon axe in his hands. He measured the distance and began accelerating from forty meters away, charing towards the dormitory with his full speed.

Hearing the sound of footsteps and smelling the scent of the living, the zombies immediately charged towards him.

The surviving teachers and the survivors from the second floor of the dining hall were all looking at his movements. They all stretched out their heads to look carefully.

This was the first time someone was charging into the horde of zombies.

“Damn, if you can live free and easy, why do you choose to die!”

“That idiot, if I had the same strength, I would have already run away without caring for other’s life and death!”

“Sigh. What an idiot. Why doesn’t he come to save us instead? Damn!”

The survivors on the second floor of the dining hall could not understand what they were seeing. They were all criticizing Yang Hao’s actions as wrong.

On the other hand, the teachers inside the dormitory were extremely moved. They felt that they would be saved, but some of them also thought that Yang Hao was an idiot.

In order to save a former leader, he would actually dash on bravely with no thought of personal safety?

Fang Qing Qing excitedly shouted, “Yang Hao, after you get in, kill the zombies in the corridor. Quickly bring us out!”

She felt that Yang Hao could come up and that he must be doing it for her. Thus, she still spoke in a commanding tone.

As everyone cursed at him, Yang Hao had charged past the blockade of zombies and reached the bottom of the dormitory.

He then stomped the ground with his left feet and jumped while aiming at a terrace on the second floor.

However, he severely underestimated his own speed and power.

Whoooooosh!

Accompanied with a terrifying speed, his body directly reached the fourth floor that was more than nine meters above the ground.

“What!!!”

The survivors on the second floor of the dining hall all shouted. They simply did not dare believe in the scene in front of them.

Humans could actually jump to the fourth floor???

Let alone them, even Yang Hao himself was startled.

Seeing that he was about to hit the wall, he quickly reached out his hand and grabbed the edge of a window, and waved his axe towards the window frame.

Smash! Rumble!

The alloy-made window frame could not bear his single attack. It immediately bent inwards, causing the glass to break.

The sound of glass breaking attracted the attention of the zombies in the corridor.

Yang Hao used the power of his left arm to lift himself up. With close to 15 kilograms of power, he was able to easily throw himself into the corridor.

While he was still in mid-air, he saw four female zombies screaming as they charged towards him.

Their mouths were opened wide, exposing their pitch-black teeth that continuously spilled out saliva. It was quite intimidating at first glance.

However, for Yang Hao, this was only a small appetizer.

The moment he landed on the ground, he waved the half-moon axe in his hand.

Splutter! Splutter! Splutter! Splutter!

With four continuous sounds, the heads of the four zombies had all been chopped off. Before their heads could land on the ground, Yang Hao had already charged out by ten meters, reaching the stairs.

This place was the most terrifying of all.

The top and bottom floors were connected. If he was caught in a pincer attack, he would have to fight on two fronts.

Luckily, no zombies charged from those directions, but he could hear voices through the doors of the rooms.

Yang Hao suddenly shouted, “If you want to live, don’t cause any trouble.

In an instant, the sounds of doors opening stopped. Those that wanted to take a peek all shrunk back inside.

Yang Hao did not pay attention to the numerous teachers. He charged towards the fifth floor which was also the top floor.

He needed to find a relatively safe corner. Only then could he guarantee the safety of his back.

The instant he went up, he noticed seven zombies.

He made a prompt decision and beheaded them. He could not be sloppy on the job.

Then, he immediately picked up the attribute balls.

“Strength +32, Agility +9, Spirit +4.5, Red Envelope +1.”

Without any hesitation, he opened the red envelope and obtained ‘Comprehensive Collection of Cooking Skills’.

“Damn. Oh gods, what’s the point of learning this trash during an apocalypse?”

Looking at the book in his hands, he could not help but rain curses.

He never imagined that the system would give him such a useless skill.

However, when he opened the book and absorb the knowledge inside, he was immediately stupefied.
