Chapter 4 - The Power of Combat Knife Techniques

Yang Hao had ignored the increase in attributes and moved his focus to the seven-star machete.

The blade was 2 feet long and was saw-toothed at the back. It was decorated with seven stars on the side. The handle of the machete was wrapped in a bandage that extended long enough to completely bind it to the hand. This prevented the weapon from slipping from the hand.

“In the early years, I have seen gangsters fight using this weapon. It’s the best thing I can have! With this, I will go and kill those three bastards!”

Yang Hao’s confidence instantly rose up. He brandished the seven-star machete and practiced combat knife techniques skillfully.

He could feel that the machete was a lot stronger than the triangular bayonet. It was not an ordinary item.

When he came out of the supermarket, the people in the two dorms began shouting towards him.

Some people even mocked him for being poor, for not being able to study, and only be a dorm caretaker.

The female students were much more direct, wishing to exchange their bodies for survival.

However, Yang Hao ignored them even more. Many of the female students would look for their boyfriends in the male dorms before. When they saw him, they would only call him dorm caretaker without a single bit of politeness.

He turned a deaf ear and paid more attention to the attribute balls on the ground while slowly following behind the three bastards.

After watching countless TV shows and movies, he deeply understood that he cannot become a savior during an apocalypse unless he was strong enough that he could ignore danger.

Otherwise, his only end was death.

Now, being able to protect himself was already not bad!

The twelve balls ha had picked up exceeded the among of attribute points given by the previous thirty.

Yang Hai guessed that they might have just died recently, thus the glowing orbs had not yet dissipated. After this, he understood that he must pick up the attribute balls as quickly as he could.

After making a decision in his heart, he continued to follow behind the three people.

After turning a corner, he could not hear the sounds from the male dormitory anymore. Only the female dormitory kept on showering him with moans and alluring sounds, hoping that any of them could arouse Yang Hao.

Yang Hao had indeed shot a glance at them but immediately moved his gaze away.

It was not that he was uninterested, but his desire for vengeance was simply greater.

Survival was the first priority.

He admitted that the three bastards were quite strong. They had continuously killed 18 zombies, which dropped more than 30 attribute balls that he picked up.

“Hehe, hehe……”

During his pursuit, three zombies charged out from the female dormitory.

They were all short and wore tattered clothing that did not cover their bodies at all.

Their grayish dried out internal organs were visible. Their skins were also covered with terrifying injuries and black body fluids.

He charged forward and quickly swung the seven-star machete in his hand.

With a single cut, the eye of a zombie had dropped down on the ground. Its body swayed for a bit and collapsed.

Then he retreated two steps to quickly dodge the filthy hands of the last zombies. Yang Hao was now a lot more confident.

The seven-star machete in his hands once again flew out. With powerful might, he bisected the last zombie.

“Shwing! Splat!”

The third zombie had been cut in the middle. Black brain fluid spewed out as it died.

In just a short two seconds, he had only taken one step back in order to kill three terrifying zombies. The result was completely one-sided annihilation.

“Huuuu…”

Yang Hao once again took a step back and let out a long exhale. He looked at the black liquid fall down from the sky. He then looked a the collapsed bodies of the three zombies that were still twitching.

In the next instant, he saw that there were nine attribute balls and one red envelope on the ground.

“This set of combat knife technique is truly useful. It is very easy to deal with a small group of zombies. However, I truly should not enter the dormitory right now. There is too much danger!”

After letting out another long exhale, he consolidated his battle experience while picking up the attribute balls on the ground.

“Strength +6, Agility +2, Spirit +1, Red envelope +1!”

The female students of the dormitory had been watching his skills from the beginning. Their eyes all lit up as their voices became louder while he was picking the glowing balls.

“Brother dorm caretaker, quickly save us. You are so awesome, worthing of becoming my boyfriend!”

“Brother, brother, we love you. We are willing to become your women, just give us some food!”

“Don’t abandon us. You are so strong, so you must save us. Otherwise, you are a scoundrel that is worse than the zombies!”

Some of them had continued to beg while others were like idiots that kept preaching about morals.

It was simply hard to understand where the brains of the latter went.

How could there be such outlandish ways of thinking?

Yang Hao simply did not listen to their shouts and paid attention to the contents of the red envelope.

“Car driving skills: Gain proficiency in driving small, medium, and large cars. Simple shortcomings are also removed.
