Chapter 493 - How can this be?

"Fire Impact! Meteor Volcano!"

The ground below glowed red, and Li Yi's HP continued to drop. In a blink of an eye, it had already bottomed out. Li Yi quickly chugged down a bottle of Divine Essence Potion to regain his lost health.

A red-haired White Elf female clad in red robes had risen her staff and was shooting an endless stream of attacks towards Li Yi.

Li Yi hurriedly activated his Rocket Propellant, raced to the White Elf female's side, and shot out his legs.

"Flame Dragon's Howl!"

"Boom!"

The red-haired female was sent flying. Li Yi fired three arrows and she responded by activating 'Magic Shield', which allowed her to survive his attack.

.

A Wizard's Magic Shield had the powerful effect of reducing all damage by 90%. Though Li Yi's attacks were powerful, they did minimal damage against Wizards who had activated their shields.

The moment the red-haired female landed onto the ground, she immediately cast her spell. A dragon made of flames bared its fangs as it surged forth from the tip of her staff and hurtled directly towards Li Yi.

'Ultimate Fire Magic — Flaming Dragon Spell!'

The flame dragon opened its maw and engulfed the area in its flames. In terms of the area it covered, it was no weaker than Flaming Phoenix's Flame Shower Spell.

It was at that moment that Li Yi caught a glimpse of the female's face. He was instantly stunned. He allowed the flame dragon to bear down on him and did not move a single muscle.

Crash! Li Yi collapsed on the floor, dead…

'Qian'er!'

The red-haired female before him was Qian'er!

Li Yi was totally baffled.

Qian'er had an angry look on her face, and even though Li Yi was already lying dead on the ground, she was still enraged.

She had come to the Invincible Continent complete a quest. However, she had felt a pang of heat as she walked past the area. She also noticed that her HP decreased intermittently, and as such, she concluded that there was a powerful boss in the area. In order to prepare herself, she planned to change into her fire-resistant equipment.

Unexpectedly, just as she was putting on her equipment, Li YI suddenly logged in beside her. To make matters worse, he had even grabbed her assets.

Had she known that things would end up this way, she would have turned off the option that allowed contact with strangers long ago.

Qian'er was furious.

Back on the ground, Li Yi sighed. "Lady, I didn't do it on purpose…"

Li Yi's external appearance had been altered to appear average-looking using a Trickery Ring. Because of that, Qian'er could not identify him, despite them having met in real life.

Qian'er pointed her staff at Li Yi and asked, "So, you're Dark Wing?"

The Orange Quality Bow was Li Yi's symbol. For the moment, Li Yi was still the only one with an Orange Quality Bow in all of King of Pantheon. As such, it was not a surprise that Qian'er could identify him.

"Yep."

Qian'er snorted, "I heard that Dark Wing was a perverted sleazebag. From what I have seen today, it really is true."

"You've heard of me?"

Qian'er sneered,
