Chapter 542 - Flunking

"Are you brave enough to tell me your name? Scr*w your father!"

The black-clad Thief was still cursing, but Li Yi was no longer in the mood to entertain her. He summoned his horse and spurred hundreds of meters ahead. The moment he encountered one of the rayman bosses, he activated God Mode and fired a flurry of arrows into it, successfully disposing of it.

The Quest Pane's display was updated once again. [Successfully killed a Cesha clone, Dungeon Progress advanced to 2%. Time used: 20 seconds. Grade: S. Obtained rewards: Mana Seed x1 (Permanently increases mana threshold by 10 points).]

Within Conquer, only a player's first monster kill would be rewarded. If the player were to kill the same monster for a second time, they would receive nothing. However, if they were to completely eliminate all the monsters of the same species, they will be able to receive another reward and at the same time, their dungeon progress would advance as well.

Li Yi theorized that the reason the black-clad Thief had prevented him from killing the bosses was because she intended on eradicating all the raymen bosses herself, in order to obtain the final raymen bosses' reward.

Making progress within Conquer was easy during the early phase. However, once the dungeon's progress reaches somewhere around 50%, there would be a spike in difficulty and any attempts to increase the progress from then on was extremely difficult.

Sometime later, the black-clad Thief crawled back up. She had forgone the raymen bosses, and instead, with a vigorous rubbing of her hands, she summoned an iron rocket mount and got on top of it. Following that, the base of the rocket spewed flames, and she pursued Li Yi in the direction he fled to.

[Iron Rocket Aircraft, Unique Engineering Mount. Manufacturing requirement: Iron Rocket Blueprint, and Grandmaster Engineering Level.]

After angrily pursuing Li Yi for half an hour or so, the black-clad Thief had yet to find Li Yi, which made her even more furious.

She contacted her friend.

"Wang'zi, come to Conquer right this moment. F*cking hell, I've been bullied."

"Who dared to bully you, Sister Cat?"

"I don't know him. All I know that he's an Archer, rides a golden horse, has a golden bow, exudes an aura of arrogance and pride, and has a punchable face. He's really vexing."

"Wait for me, I'll assemble the brothers right this instant!"

…

Using his experience of Conquer from his past life, Li Yi's progress quickly advanced to 35%.

Not even a day had passed and he had already reached 35%. Should this achievement be announced, there was a decent chance that the players would go crazy.

"Rong Rong, what's your current progress? Send me your walkthrough…"

Li Yi contacted Little Elf from the Magical Realm and requested for her walkthrough.

"No wonder you didn't come to Conquer earlier, you wanted me to experience it first.
