Oreo was a handsome boy. He had a small frame that made him appear thin and right now, his face was colorful as he knelt on the ground with one hand supporting his entire body.
The uniform on every student was good-looking. They stood together. Many, many of them standing together.
When Lu Hao was done smoking, he rubbed the butt of the cigarette on Oreo’s exposed skin and extinguished it.
Lu Hao said to Oreo: “You can spit it out now.”
Oreo took out the blade that was in his mouth. Lu Hao and the other male students had forced him to put it in his mouth, causing him self-inflicted pain.
His name was ‘Oreo’ as in Oreo cookies. It was an English name.
Lu Hao was impatient. Beside him was his girlfriend, Zhang Wenqi. He said to her: “Why is it still not here?”
Zhang Wenqi and a few other girls were also in the boy’s bathroom watching Lu Hao take care of Oreo. Zheng Wenqi had her head lowered and was playing on her phone. When she heard Lu Hao, she made a phone call.
Zhang Wenqu then replied: “Beibei said she got caught by the security guard trying to sneak the dog into school. The dog can’t be brought here anymore.”
Lu Hao became angry. He said: “Was Jia Beibei’s brain eaten by a dog? Our entire class skipped the exercise drill so she could bring the dog here, god she’s stupid.”
Zhang Wenqi said: “You want to watch Oreo and the dog □□, does it have to be today? Couldn’t you have called everyone out on the weekend? Are you not afraid of getting in trouble for doing it in school?”
Cheng Jun, Lu Hao’s lackey, was afraid that they would start arguing and quickly smooth things over: “It’s alright, there’s mop water over there, we can just do the routine thing.”
Cheng Jun kicked Oreo. With a pathetic posture, Oreo crawled to the mop water and used his hands to drink from it.
The boys snickered. The girls covered their mouths; not out of fear or panic, but rather to show their incorruptibility. Their lips were painted red like cats that had eaten mice
My name is Oreo, and I’m currently suffering from campus violence.
They say I’m a coward: I could hold a blade in my mouth and swallow mop water.
These are the only things left in my world; a narrow alley, a bathroom, the classrooms after school, and even the office empty of teachers. They could all be a nightmare waiting for me.
The students at our school all wore a black western-styled uniform. They looked like crows standing together.
At the start of every nightmare, there will be many well-ironed western uniforms gathered together like this. Them standing. Him kneeling or crawling.
When the bell rang, the students of Class Five headed back. Lu Hao grabbed Oreo’s hair and bashed him against the wall a couple of times before leaving.
Oreo really didn’t have any strength left. He lay against the door of a stall, his face full of bruises.
The door of the stall opened.
It was also a student of Class Five, Gu Xin.
“Who can still fucking shit with so many people in the bathroom.” Gu Xin kicked the stall open. The door swung and hit Oreo on the back of the head.
Gu Xin was startled when he saw Oreo who was hit by the door. He reached out and helped him up.
Aunt and Uncle were still sleeping in the morning. They didn’t cook and they didn’t give him any money so Oreo didn’t eat any breakfast. His blood sugar level was low causing him to lean dizzily against Gu Xin.
It’s been so long since he had this sort of intimate contact that put him at ease.
Oreo thought this.
“Bro, are you alright.” Gu Xin asked casually.
“Ah…I’m fine.” Oreo quickly stepped back, feeling a bit shy. His speech was a bit unclear because the blade from earlier had hurt the inside of his mouth.
His face was covered in wounds and his uniform was filthy like he had just rolled down from a hill. However, his smile was still gentle and innocent. He didn’t ask Gu Xin to have a righteous heart. He only hoped that the sole person who had yet to throw a stone at him yet could maintain his clean hands.
Gu Xin saw his miserable appearance and didn’t say anything. He turned around and left.
It’s said that Gu Xin’s family was very influential. He never deigned to associate with Lu Hao.
Oreo washed his face. He then flipped his jacket inside out to wear but found it strange and decided not to wear it after all.
Oreo tidied himself up a bit so he didn’t appear too pathetic. By the time he arrived at the classroom, class had already started for five minutes and he was considered tardy. He stood by the door and reported his attendance.
It was a class taught by their homeroom teacher, Teacher Xue. Teacher Xue only glanced at him before turning back to continue bantering with the other students.
Teacher Xue taught mathematics which was supposed to be an important core subject. However, since most of the students at the school were from rich families, there was no pressure to study for the college entrance exam. Gradually, she no longer taught class seriously; every day, twenty minutes of the class would be spent in idleness and during the remaining time she would just read some powerpoints.
She wasn’t the only one who acted like this, the other teachers in the science department also chit-chatted with the class on a daily basis to enhance their feelings. However, Teacher Xue was not only responsible for math tests. Since she was the homeroom teacher, she also had the responsibility of promoting team spirit within the class.
For example, she could bring the class together to diss certain teachers she didn’t like or the director.
Speaking of which, the director was also an unlucky bastard, but that’s for later.
“The principal said that I’ll be in charge of this year’s music festival. Children, switch on your thinking mode, any ideas?” Teacher Xue looked at the students with motherly love.
“Yo, this job didn’t go to Director Jiang.” Lu Hao was Teacher Xue’s favorite student because he would always help her say the things she wanted to say.
“Speaking of the music festival, I’m absolutely incensed. I asked Class One’s Wu Jing to play the zither but that young lady said it was almost time for the exams and she was afraid it would delay her studies. This is called being selfish, children. Only knows how to study, has no personality, and doesn’t even want to participate in school events. Study, study, study, if you only want to study, why enter a private school, just go back to a public school to do your exercise books.” Teacher Xue placed her arms on the rostrum and half leaned forward, her body slanted. It made her full-bodied figure appear exceptionally curvy.
“The kids in Class One only know how to study, not like our Class Five. The principal always lets our class arrange the events.” Lu Hao’s girlfriend, Zhang Wenqi chimed in.
“Reporting!” Oreo said again.
“What’s there to act so confidently about when you’re late? Eyebrowless.” Teacher Xue chided.
Truth be told, Oreo also didn’t know what ‘eyebrowless’ was supposed to mean. It should be an idiom that roughly means ‘boring’.
Oreo returned to his seat. He took out his math textbook and began to do a problem.
“Teacher, why is your lipstick so pretty today?” Jia Beibei was Zhang Wenqi’s best friend. When Zhang Wenqi and the other girls revolved around Teacher Xue, she also followed suit.
“This? Come, come, I’ll help you put on some.” After Teacher Xue spoke, the class laughed.
Jia Beibei walked to the rostrum in an exaggerated manner like she was really going to let Teacher Xue put lipstick on her.
God.
Look at the world you’ve created.
It’s just like a pigsty.
