Chapter 10 - Why are you here?

“Okay.” Aunt Su went downstairs. Cen Muqi turned around to see Ji Naitang looking at him in puzzlement. He explained, “He’s been looking for me for several days now. He’s probably in some trouble.”

“Aren’t you going to see him? Isn’t he your cousin?”

“He can’t obtain someone, so he drugs them. He can do such a despicable thing. It’s time for him to be taught a lesson.”

“But you’re not really going to ignore him, right?”

Ji Naitang’s tone was very certain. Cen Muqi just said that Cen Xi should be taught a lesson. But he didn’t say that he wouldn’t help. If he really didn’t want to help, then he wouldn’t use the excuse of being busy to send Cen Xi away.

Ji Naitang was clear on what trouble Cen Xi was in. It must be related to those pictures. Cen Xi kept those pictures to blackmail that rich woman. But they were now exposed. That rich woman certainly wouldn’t let him off.

If it was just based on Cen Xi’s power, he certainly couldn’t settle this matter. His following days would be bitter. But if CEO Corporation helped out, the situation wouldn’t be the same.

Cen Muqi looked carefully at Ji Naitang. “You don’t want me to help him?”

“I don’t want.”

Cen Xi had drugged Ji Naitang. Although Ji Naitang took his revenge, he didn’t intend to let Cen Xi off too easily. But he didn’t mind Cen Muqi helping Cen Xi. After all, Ji Naitang had plenty of opportunities in the future to slowly play with Cen Xi.

Besides, although Cen Muqi seemed to treat Ji Naitang really well, he didn’t have many feelings for Ji Naitang after all. But Cen Xi was ultimately his cousin. Ji Naitang couldn’t compare to that right now. So, he didn’t expect that Cen Muqi would change his mind because of his “I don’t want.”

He replied like that because it would be really fake if he didn’t.

Ji Naitang was in bed for five days before he could get out of bed. Recuperation wasn’t a good experience. But if he had to do it again, he would still make the same choice.

Cen Muqi was busy at work, so he wasn’t at home a lot. Hence, they didn’t spend a lot of time together lately. But Ji Naitang was already very satisfied to see him once every night.

“Little Tang, are you dining with Mr. Cen tonight?”

Aunt Su had become familiar with Ji Naitang in the last few days. She changed her address of Ji Naitang at his request. Ji Naitang had been eating by himself. He could finally get out of bed today, so he naturally wanted to dine with Cen Muqi at the same table.

“Yes.”

“There’s no more sugar. I’ll go buy some and come back.”

The doorbell suddenly rang at this time. Aunt Su went over to take a look. “It’s Mr. Cen’s cousin.”

Ji Naitang raised his eyebrow. Cen Xi? He had come here many times over in the last few days, but Cen Muqi hadn’t seen him once. He must be like ants on a heated pot now.

“I’ll send him away.” Aunt Su was going to tell Cen Xi to leave, but Ji Naitang said, “Let him come in.”

“Let him come in?”

“He is CEO Cen’s cousin after all. CEO Cen can send him away, but it’s not convenient if we do it. Besides, CEO Cen will be back soon. We’ll let him deal with it.”

Aunt Su thought about it and thought that it sounded reasonable. She went to open the door. Cen Xi saw the door open and rushed inside happily. He didn’t even change his shoes.

“Cousin? Cou……” He suddenly stopped shouting and looked in surprise at Ji Naitang, who was sitting on the sofa. He said angrily, “Why are you here?”
