Cen Xi certainly couldn’t have sent the wrong documents. He didn’t need to think to know that it must have been done by Ji Naitang. But those pictures were indeed real, so he couldn’t go confront Ji Naitang. Hence, he could only find a way to quickly remedy the situation.

Cen Xi didn’t bother Ji Naitang for a few days after this, but there was no interaction between Ji Naitang and Cen Muqi either. That night was like an accident. No one mentioned it ever again.

A week later, Ji Naitang was sent as Fenqi Entertainment Company’s representative to Cen Corporation. The person who met him was Cen Corporation’s director. It was lunchtime when they finished discussing. There were a lot of people downstairs. Ji Naitang didn’t squeeze onto an elevator. He looked around and silently walked along a corridor to another area and waited for the elevator there.

He waited for less than a minute when the elevator opened. He wanted to walk inside, but he was stunned when he saw the person who walked out.

Cen Muqi also looked a little surprised. He hadn’t spoken yet, before his assistant next to him said, “Which department are you from? Don’t you know that this is the CEO’s personal elevator?”

“I – I’m sorry. I didn’t know.”

Ji Naitang looked a bit embarrassed. The assistant said, “Are you new? The employees’ elevator is over there.”

“Thank you.” Ji Naitang started to leave. Cen Muqi suddenly asked, “Why are you here?”

Ji Naitang stopped and replied after thinking about it. “I’m here to talk about the resort. I didn’t know that this is the CEO’s personal elevator. I’m sorry.”

“It’s fine. There must be a lot of people waiting now. Use this one to go down.” Cen Muqi reached out to push the elevator button for him. Ji Naitang froze. He thanked him and then went inside the elevator.

Cen Muqi’s assistant opened his eyes wide in surprise. He originally thought that this person was a new employee. Why did it seem like this person seemed to be acquainted with the CEO?

He thought about his earlier attitude and felt unwell all over.

After the elevator door closed, a mysterious smile appeared on Ji Naitang’s lowered face. It had been a week since that night. It hadn’t been too long or too short. It was just right.

He was here to see Cen Muqi now, so it wouldn’t let him think that he was here deliberately for that matter. But it would make Cen Muqi quickly remember that night.

Ji Naitang slowly looked up. When he looked up, the little bit of smile on his face had dissipated cleanly, so the camera in the elevator didn’t record his earlier expression.

He walked out of Cen Corporation and called Yao Yuanjing. “Let me borrow a few people to act out a play with me.”

Yao Yuanjing smiled. “What? Are you finally going to do it? But are you sure that Cen Muqi will go to the bar tonight?”

Ji Naitang’s gaze was firm. His voice was low and slow. “He will definitely go there. Remember to tell your subordinates to act realistically. If they’re bad actors, then don’t blame me for being ruthless.”

“Tsk. How did Cen Muqi get your attention? How pitiful.”

Ji Naitang started to hang up the phone, but Yao Yuanjing shouted, “Don’t hang up. Doctor Yan told me that you didn’t go see him last week. Naitang’er……”

Ji Naitang’s face instantly sunk. “I know. I’ll naturally go find him when I need to.”

“Naitang’er, I know that you have some resistance because of the past. But Yan Yebai is the best psychiatrist in the city. He can definitely……”
