Since the purpose is to invoke the heavenly laws and use the power of the Heavenly Dao to refine a treasure, this spiritual treasure must have significant meaning. It could either regulate the wealth of the world or measure the standards of the world, and so on.

And didn't Feng Ye just obtain the divine duty of the four seasons? Feng Ye thought that if this spiritual treasure were to be made to regulate the celestial calendar and the four seasons, governing the operation of the world's time and calendar, it would naturally not be inferior to the Treasure of Gold and Money. Moreover, it would align with the will of heaven, resolving the aftermath of the great war between the witches and the demons.

As Feng Ye stood, a cloud of celebration appeared above his head. The three flowers were not visible, only the five qi circulating, simulating the changes of heaven and earth, drawing on the power of creation. A huge sphere appeared out of nowhere. This was the Heavenly Furnace, which Feng Ye summoned from the universe using his supreme magical power, a projection of the universe, to refine the spiritual treasure.

First, the calendar map. Feng Ye pointed, and the map exploded directly above his head. It transformed into a stream of yellow virtue qi, flying into the Heavenly Furnace, where it continuously churned. The calendar map was originally created by Fuxi and Feng Ye, using nothing more than a piece of tree bark, but it had been preserved to this day due to the yellow virtue qi.

Now, Feng Ye extracted the yellow virtue qi, and the tree bark immediately turned to ashes.

Next, Feng Ye tapped the Ten Thousand Crows Flask. The 3,000 fire crows inside continuously danced, forming a giant fire crow. However, it looked more like the legendary divine bird, the Golden Crow, with its golden feathers and three legs.

The Golden Crow, formed from the primordial yang qi, shot out of the Ten Thousand Crows Flask and flew into the Heavenly Furnace, transforming into a large sun, standing at the center of the yellow virtue qi. The golden sun continuously rotated, with each rotation corresponding to the number of the sun's orbit, representing the annual cycle.

Then, Feng Ye threw the Nine Palaces Luo Shu into the Heavenly Furnace. In the yellow virtue qi, the nine palaces were differentiated. The central palace, along with the eight directions of Qian, Kun, Xun, Zhen, Kan, Li, Dui, and Gen, formed a square nine-palace grid.

The light of the golden sun illuminated the eight palaces, forming a golden halo, which was evenly divided by the eight palaces.

Feng Ye then threw the twenty-four Sea-Stabilizing Pearls, each of the eight palaces receiving three, totaling twenty-four. The twenty-four Sea-Stabilizing Pearls formed a ring around the golden halo, revolving around the central golden sun.

Next, Feng Ye picked up his divine duty jade tablet, using it to summon divine power, drawing the four seasons' qi, and casting them into the Heavenly Furnace.

The four seasons' qi continuously manifested in the Heavenly Furnace, transforming into the four elements of earth, fire, wind, and water. In the end, they formed the images of the Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, White Tiger, and Black Tortoise. These four divine images guarded the golden sun, with the four seasons forming a four-colored halo of green, red, white, and black. Each color halo dyed two of the eight palaces. The four divine images controlled six Sea-Stabilizing Pearls, revolving around the golden sun.

The twenty-four Sea-Stabilizing Pearls were arranged according to the four seasons. The next step was to light the twenty-four pearls.

Feng Ye casually pointed, starting with the four most important and initial solar terms: Start of Spring, Start of Summer, Start of Autumn, and Start of Winter, symbolizing the beginning and end of the four seasons. Then came the four solar terms in the middle of each season: Vernal Equinox, Summer Solstice, Autumnal Equinox, and Winter Solstice, corresponding to the sun's highest brightness.

Interestingly, these eight pearls were placed in the eight palaces, marking the beginning of each palace.

Next, Feng Ye focused on the palace of Gen and Zhen, where the Azure Dragon stood. Starting from the Start of Spring, the three Sea-Stabilizing Pearls in the Gen palace corresponded to the Start of Spring, Gen, and Tianliu. The three pearls in the Zhen palace corresponded to the Vernal Equinox, Zhen, and Cangmen. These were the six solar terms of spring.

Then, the Vermilion Bird for summer, standing in the Xun and Li palaces. Starting from the Start of Summer, they were: Start of Summer, Xun, Yinluo, Summer Solstice, Li, and Shangtian.

The White Tiger stood in the Kun and Dui palaces, starting from the Start of Autumn: Start of Autumn, Kun, Xuanwei; Autumnal Equinox, Dui, Cangguo.

The Black Tortoise, representing winter, stood in the Qian and Kan palaces: Start of Winter, Qian, Xinluo; Winter Solstice, Kan, Yezhe.

Apart from the initial eight solar terms, the other solar terms were arranged according to the Nine Palaces Luo Shu. After all, with Shennong not emerging, there was no agriculture, so terms like Grain Buds and Grain in Ear, which are closely related to agriculture, could not be used. This was a gift Feng Ye reserved for his good disciple. When he spread agriculture, he could modify the Luo Shu solar terms to new precipitation solar terms, earning great virtue.

The twenty-four solar terms, based on the Luo Shu and the Sea-Stabilizing Pearls, were established, but it was not yet complete. It was only a part of the time calendar.

Next, Feng Ye established the twelve Earthly Branches, setting the day and night changes of the sun. The twelve hours of Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu, and Hai formed another ring inside the four seasons' halo.

The original calendar map was created by Fuxi and Feng Ye according to the Jiazi calendar. Feng Ye pointed at the yellow virtue qi in the Heavenly Furnace, locking it according to the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, forming a yellow circle that locked the twenty-four solar terms and the twelve hours.

Gradually, as the three time-keeping methods were established, the innate Daoic meanings and laws of heaven and earth descended, forming a shadow in the Heavenly Furnace, resembling a mirror. However, due to the lack of innate spiritual qi, it could not fully form.

But Feng Ye was well-prepared.

Heaven and earth are boundless, all methods are void. Everything, shatter!

Feng Ye pointed, and the twenty-four Sea-Stabilizing Pearls exploded, releasing streams of innate primordial qi. The innate Daoic meanings and spiritual light danced in the Heavenly Furnace. Although the Sea-Stabilizing Pearls were top-tier spiritual treasures, each of the twenty-four pearls, though of excellent material, could not match other treasures of the same rank. Under Feng Ye's use of the power of creation, they were all shattered into fragments.

Using the power of the Heavenly Furnace, Feng Ye continuously compressed the innate primordial qi, gathering it toward the mirror's shadow. Gradually, the yellow virtue qi, combined with the innate primordial qi, condensed into a solid form. A golden divine light shot through the Heavenly Furnace into the sky, drawing the attention of immortals and deities in the vast world.

Innate spiritual treasures, who wouldn't want more? However, when they saw that the innate spiritual treasure came from the Fire Cloud Cave, they immediately turned their heads. Although the spiritual treasure was good, one must have the means to take it. Challenging the Supreme God Fuxi for something was asking for death!

With the spiritual treasure born, Feng Ye dissolved the Heavenly Furnace and took the mirror.

The mirror's frame was adorned with various Daoic texts of the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches, symbolizing the Jiazi calendar and the changes of years, months, and days. This came from the yellow virtue qi of the calendar map, so the frame was yellow.

In addition, on the back of the mirror were the four seasonal divine images: the Azure Dragon, Vermilion Bird, White Tiger, and Black Tortoise, symbolizing the four elements of earth, fire, wind, and water, and the four seasons of spring, summer, autumn, and winter. Twenty-four silver gems were embedded, corresponding to the twenty-four solar terms.

The most important part, the mirror's surface, was golden, symbolizing the sun.

Since it was a spiritual treasure he refined himself, connected by his heart and blood, a little more refinement would be enough. The forty-six innate Daoic restrictions were sufficient for Feng Ye to use for the purpose of cutting off the corpse.

However, this was a forty-eight-restricted innate spiritual treasure, the Sea-Stabilizing Pearls, that was exchanged. It was uncertain whether it was a loss. If Yuan Kui knew, he would surely scold him to death.

Feng Ye looked at the fragments of the twenty-four Sea-Stabilizing Pearls, seeing that the spiritual light was still present, and the Daoic laws had not completely dissipated. He gathered the fragments with a large hand, summoning the Heavenly Furnace again to refine them.

The Sea-Stabilizing Pearls were a set of spiritual treasures, with both similar and different Daoic laws. When Feng Ye refined the mirror, he used the time laws based on the calendar, but did not use the laws of stabilizing the sea, space, and light from the Sea-Stabilizing Pearls, so they were preserved in the fragments.

Thus, Feng Ye used the Heavenly Furnace to refine the fragments again, finally forming a Sea-Stabilizing Pearl with forty-five Daoic restrictions. At least it didn't drop from the top-tier spiritual treasures, and it should be enough to compensate Yuan Kui, Feng Ye thought.

With the spiritual treasure refined, Feng Ye opened the clean room, and Yuan Kui immediately rushed in: "Daoist Brother, where are my Sea-Stabilizing Pearls! Why can't I sense them?"

When Feng Ye initially shattered the Sea-Stabilizing Pearls, Yuan Kui, as one of the refiners, was alerted and came directly from the Yellow River Dragon Palace to the Fire Cloud Cave to check the situation. However, Feng Ye was in the clean room, and it was not appropriate to disturb him, for fear of causing a mental breakdown.

But now that Feng Ye came out, Yuan Kui immediately asked.

Feng Ye threw the pearl in his hand, and it shone with five-colored light: "Here! The twenty-four pearls were too many and could be easily defeated one by one, so I helped you refine them into one. No need to thank me, I'm just humble!"

Yuan Kui took the pearl, carefully examined it, and found that the originally forty-eight-restricted Sea-Stabilizing Pearls were now forty-five-restricted. He then heard Feng Ye boasting and shifting responsibility.

Yuan Kui's face was grim, and he forced out a few words: "Where, where, Daoist Brother, you've been so helpful, I must thank you. I'm sure the mirror in your hand is your newly refined spiritual treasure, and you must want to test it. So let me test it for you!"

"How can I let you do that!"

"Rest assured, I will hold back," Yuan Kui said through gritted teeth.

Bookworm's Tea Room:

The reason for separately mentioning the twenty-four solar terms is actually a regret of mine. Now that the Gregorian calendar is prevalent, the old traditions passed down by our ancestors are no longer in line with the social trends. The lunar calendar and the Jiazi calendar are rarely understood by people today. Many don't even know how the Jiazi calendar works, let alone the even less known twenty-four solar terms. When I asked my mother, she didn't know either, as she is not a farmer and doesn't really understand these things. She just hangs a calendar at home to look at. The twenty-four solar terms song, not even my mother knows, let alone me, as it's not used nowadays.

Well, I've said a lot of complaints, but I just want to say that although the old traditions are not used, those with memorial value should still be preserved. I don't want the tragedy of the Dragon Boat Festival to happen again.

Also, the Luo Shu solar terms method was indeed a real thing in ancient times, not something I made up.
