After this commotion, Kun YuYang arrived even later than Princess DanYang.

The two weddings took place at the same time in DaRui Palace, with Emperor Ning personally sanctioning the weddings. Civil and military officials, along with members of the imperial family, were all present. This was an exceptionally grand scene.

Princess DanYang arrived with assistance from the palace servants of the Western Palace, while Yin Shuo arrived alone from outside the palace. The newlywed couple walked in on their own, with neither saying a word to the other.

Everyone offered their congratulations, and not a single one was a repeat of what someone else had said. Kun YuYang was stunned by the overwhelming favor. She initially thought that she would be shown contempt because of Western Kun’s actions at the border, but who knew that everyone would be so kind and welcoming toward her.

How could she know that this group of people had come over after dealing with the oppressive atmosphere around Princess DanYang and Yin Shuo. They were all too eager to find someone to congratulate!

Uncle Ning cheerfully cupped his hands and returned the kindness. Kun YuYang’s clothes made movement inconvenient and did not know if she should return the gesture. She could only watch on from the side in a daze.
