Wayne: "Talking about this now and finding someone to blame won't help. The top priority is to find Zhou Ke quickly."
Gordon: "The rich second generation is right... Jonathan, contact the Gotham City Police Department immediately and have them be extra cautious when rescuing Zhou Ke. He is very dangerous and should be treated the same as the kidnappers and arrested together."
Jonathan: "I'm contacting them... Report to the director, the kidnappers have been found."
Gordon: "Found? What about Zhou Ke?"
Jonathan: "He's missing."
Gordon: "Missing? What happened?"
Jonathan: "A multi-car pileup just occurred on the highway. The two most severely damaged cars at the front were the ones that took Zhou Ke. All the kidnappers, dead or injured, have been found, but there's no sign of Zhou Ke."
Gordon: "Multi-car pileup... Have the police check the emergency rooms in hospitals to see if Zhou Ke has sought treatment."
Wayne: "Being able to escape from the accident scene suggests that Zhou Ke isn't seriously injured. Checking hospitals might not help."
Gordon: "You're right... Send Zhou Ke's photo to the highway surveillance center and have them activate the facial recognition system to help find him."
I (voiceover): "Facial recognition system? The highway surveillance should only track license plates of traffic violations, how can they have such a system?"
Dent: "Can the highway surveillance center do this? Isn't it overstepping? Won't it violate personal privacy and break the law?"
Gordon: "No problem, as long as we have authorization."
Robin: "Authorization? Whose authorization? Ours?" — sarcastically
Gordon: "I know a lot of people and can get the necessary authorization. Don't worry about it."
Robin: "What should we worry about then?"
Gordon: "Finding Zhou Ke. He came to Gotham City to seek revenge and will try to get close to the chairman of Seaside Pharmaceuticals. I want you to protect him secretly and catch Zhou Ke like a rabbit in a trap, fulfilling our civic duty."
Robin: "You want us to aid the villain and protect the culprit? Is that what a righteous hero should do?"
Gordon: "You're playing the role of a righteous hero, not a law enforcer. You can't take the law into your own hands or decide his guilt. Otherwise, you'll be no different from the black security guards who kidnapped Zhou Ke. Protecting the culprit now is to ensure he can be brought to trial in the future for a fair judgment."
Robin: "You make it sound easy. In the future? When is that? Decades from now? Seaside Pharmaceuticals has been polluting for decades without any consequences." — full of disbelief
Gordon: "Ironically, my definition of the future is different from most people's. It's not decades from now, but tomorrow."
I (voiceover): "Yeah, I believe that. The old man doesn't have many years left, his future really is tomorrow."
Robin: "Tomorrow? You can get the chairman of Seaside Pharmaceuticals to court and face a fair trial tomorrow?"
Gordon: "Don't doubt it. Once Zhou Ke is caught and speaks up according to the plan, the chairman of Seaside Pharmaceuticals will have undeniable evidence of his crimes and will have to pay for them."
Dent: "The director is right, let's go and wait for the rabbit in the trap."
Robin: "Hmph..." — reluctantly accepting Gordon's argument
Fifth Avenue, Gotham City, an international top commercial street, the camera team is secretly protecting the chairman of Seaside Pharmaceuticals.
Robin: "Isn't he supposed to cut the ribbon at the chemical plant expansion? Why is he shopping here? And who is the girl with him? His daughter?"
Gordon (via communicator): "According to his schedule, he's cutting the ribbon in two hours. He's probably here to accompany his mistress or concubine for a tour and relaxation. This is perfect; you need to film the entire process of secretly protecting him, making sure to cover every tourist attraction and high-end shop and boutique. This will finally satisfy and fool the Gotham City Tourism Association and the Gotham City Business Association's sponsorship conditions." — delighted
I (voiceover): "Wow, the old man is still thinking about making money for the production even at a time like this. His will to survive is really strong."
Robin: "Mistress, concubine? This bastard doesn't even consider his age, he could be the girl's father..." — indignant, envious, and resentful
Gordon (via communicator): "So what if he's older? Young girls these days love older men. After all, we older men have a lot more charm and financial power than you newcomers. Don't be jealous." — proudly
Wayne: "Oh, is that so?" — surprised
Gordon (via communicator): "You're an exception, not comparable. Don't interrupt, focus on the target." — angrily
Robin: "There's always someone better... Hey, isn't that Zhou Ke?" — spotting the target
Wayne: "Yes, it's him. Go and catch him." — rushing to grab him
Zhou Ke: "Ah! It's you..." — running away
Robin: "Don't run, we can talk this out, don't do anything foolish..." — chasing and shouting
Gordon (via communicator): "Stop, don't chase him. Go back and protect the chairman of Seaside Pharmaceuticals and his mistress..."
Wayne: "What? You're worried it's a diversionary tactic?" — stopping
Robin: "There's another ambush?" — also stopping
Gordon (via communicator): "Sort of, but the main thing is that we haven't finished filming the tourist attractions and high-end shops. These shots won't fool the Gotham City Tourism Association and the Gotham City Business Association; they'll come to the production and cause trouble."
I (voiceover): "Old man, can you think about anything other than money? Like human lives, for example?"
Robin: "Are you kidding? At a time like this, you're still thinking about money? The top priority should be catching Zhou Ke quickly."
Gordon (via communicator): "No need to rush. The police will help catch him. Your top priority is to protect the chairman of Seaside Pharmaceuticals and his mistress. The police don't know Zhou Ke is here for revenge and haven't assigned protection for him."
Wayne: "The police will help catch him? Can they catch Zhou Ke? He's already escaped from the highway to here."
Gordon (via communicator): "Don't worry about that. The authorization for the facial recognition system has been granted and the scope has been expanded to the entire city. All surveillance equipment in Gotham City is looking for Zhou Ke. He has nowhere to run; it's just a matter of time before the police catch him." — confidently
I (voiceover): "No wonder the old man isn't worried; he's already given the police a boost."
