Chapter 18

Mo woke up with a headache, groaned to knock on

her head. She picked up her phone and took a look, it was half pass nine. She

woke up all at once, jumped out of bed to find that she was wearing yesterday's

clothes. She couldn’t handle that much, just took her bag and rushed out. She

said to Gu Weiyi when she rushed across the living room, ‘I'm going to work,

bye!’

‘Hey, you don't have to work today!’ Gu Weiyi

said before she rushed out of the door.

Mo stopped the action of wearing shoes: ‘Really?

How did you know that?’

‘Your phone kept ringing last night. I couldn't

wake you up, so I answered it. Your staff said that your project was over and

you can take two days off on Saturdays and Sundays.’

‘Really?’ She asked suspiciously.

‘Wow! I made it!’ Mo shook her feet and shook

off a shoe she had worn, ‘I'm going back to bed.’

Gu Weiyi came over and looked at her. ‘What's on

your face, Situ Mo?’

Mo pat on the head, rushed to the toilet and

looked in the mirror. Sure enough, there were red spots on the face and neck -

wine rash!

Gu Weiyi leaned at the door of the toilet: ‘What

on earth is it?’

‘Wine rash, I'm allergic to alcohol.’ Mo said

helplessly.

He stirred up a smile and said, ‘Oh, you deserve

it. Having drunk so much alcohol when you're allergic to alcohol. Now,

well, your face looks like an answer

card.’

Mo was fooled by the answer card. After a

moment, she realized that she had been amused. She pushed him and said, ‘Go

out, how can I go out when such a big man is blocking the toilet door?’

Gu Weiyi was pushed away but still remembered to

tease her, ‘That's because you are too big to come out.’

Mo was in a good mood because she suddenly had

two more days off. She was in a good mood and was too lazy to argue with him.

Just said, ‘Did you buy breakfast? My stomach is empty. It's very

uncomfortable.’

Gu Weiyi hummed, ‘Did you still know you would

be uncomfortable?’

Mo rubbed her head, which was painful, ‘ I don't

like it, either. People in the arena and beyond our control.’

It was unknown where Gu Weiyi had found a bottle

of essential balm and handed it to her. ‘Which arena you’ve been in? Next time

you see the wine, please stay away from it, so as not to bother me.

Mo took the essential balm, ‘Thank you last

night. But did I go mad when I was drunk? She had only a vague impression of

what had happened last night, just fragments like Gu Weiyi frowned and she held

the trash can to spit.

Gu Weiyi glanced at her and said, ‘Yes, very

serious.’

Mo was a little embarrassed. She had never been

so drank before, really didn't know what she was like when drank.

Gu Weiyi said mysteriously, ‘Won’t tell you.’

Mo turned a white eye. ‘Just say, what do you

want from me?’

Gu Weiyi smiled and approached to her face. ‘If

you tell me how many red spots there are on your face, I'll tell you.’

Mo pushed aside his big head: ‘Forget it, I

didn’t really want to know anyway.’

‘If you don't want to know, just go to the

bathroom and come out for breakfast.’ Gu Weiyi patted her head like patting a

dog.

Mo shrank awkwardly, ‘Don't hit me on the head!’

There was something wrong with Gu Weiyi. This

person had rubbed her face against his neck last night, but he couldn't even

touch it today.

Mo saw him turned around to leave, hurried to

grab him and said, ‘I don't want soybean milk.’ She said that because last week,

Gu Weiyi brought back a soybean milk maker. When he was bored, he squeezed two

large glass bottles of soybean milk and put them in the refrigerator. She drank

too much until she wanted to vomit.

Gu Weiyi took a look at her hand on his arm, and

her tender white fingers on his black T-shirt, which was a sharp contrast. He

raised his mouth again, ‘You have no choice.’

Mo’s mouth was not as cheap as his, so she

simply went back to the room to find clothes and take a bath. She hesitated

when picking out clothes. Since she didn’t have to work, she could just wear a

pajama or something at home, but she thought it was not very good. She picked

out her outfit and went into the bathroom. They had lived together for nearly

two weeks. They seldom stayed at home at the same time. Especially Mo, who was

used as cows and horses when she entered the company. She was so tired as to

see stars. When she came home, she often fell asleep at once. Now they suddenly

had the chance to stay at home together, Mo was a little nervous.

Coming out after a bath, Mo walked to the living

room while wiping her hair. Gu Weiyi was squeezing soyabean milk. The machine

was so loud that others would thought it was crushing the corpse.

Mo covered her ear with a towel: ‘Hey, Gu Weiyi.

It's noisy.’

Gu Weiyi pressed the pause button, ‘There’re

only five minutes left. The water on your hair dropped onto the floor.’ After

that, he activated the ‘corpse crusher’.

Mo looked down, and sure enough, there was a

small pool of water on the ground. She turned to fetch the mop. Gu Weiyi

stopped her and said, ‘Where are you going?’

‘ Leave it alone t. It will soon dry up. Come

and have breakfast.’

Then she saw steamed buns, steamed stuffed buns,

sandwiches and porridge on the table in the living room. She astounded, ‘Can we

eat so much?’

Gu Weiyi didn't hear her clearly, and just said

‘ah?’ Mo waved her hand to show that it wasn't important. Instead, Gu Weiyi

suddenly remembered something and went to the kitchen to pick up a cup and handed

it to her.

Mo looked at the cup of strong tea in his hand

inexplicably: ‘No way! I just said no soybean milk, and you don't have to let

me drink strong tea early in the morning.’

Gu Weiyi still didn't hear clearly, and ‘ah?’

again.

Mo shouted impatiently, ‘Did you want to make me

gastric perforation by letting me drink strong tea?’ She had anticipated that

the sound of the ‘corpse crusher’ would cover up most of her roar, but at that

moment, the soybean milk was done and the roar stopped abruptly. So her voice

seemed powerful and echoed in the living room.

Mo laughed awkwardly: ‘Uh... That... I mean,

drinking tea early in the morning is bad for the intestines and stomach.

Gu Weiyi stared at her: ‘Tea dispels wine!’

Mo laughed more embarrassingly: ‘ So you are a

good comrade. I’ve measured your corn by my bushel.. Haha...’

Gu Weiyi, with his ungrateful anger, turned his

back and poured soybean milk!

After breakfast, Gu Weiyi spontaneously cleaned

the dishes and went to the kitchen to wash. Mo sat on the sofa for a while. She

still had a splitting headache, so she hid in her room to sleep.

When Gu Weiyi had finished washing the dishes,

he didn’t see Mo. He looked at her door which was closed. He thought she had

gone to sleep. So he also went back to his room to play games on the Internet,

and suddenly remembered her wine rash. He searched it on the Internet. It was

said that it would be better to take some licorice tablets. He got up and went

downstairs to the pharmacy to buy licorice tablets without thinking, and then

went to 7-11 to buy a box meal. He went home and put the box meal in the

refrigerator, throwing the tablets on the table in the living room, and then

went back to the room to play games.

At the end of the day, she woke up naturally after

a full sleep. Looking at her cell phone, it was more than two o'clock in the

afternoon. It seemed that she was not hungry. She shook her head and felt less

pain. So she simply got up and opened the door, without seeing Gu Weiyi in the

living room, she knocked on his door.

‘Come in.’ Gu Weiyi's voice came through the

door.

Mo opened the door and went in. It was the first

time that she had visited the room of Gu Weiyi, except that thorough cleanup.

His room had no special features, which was similar to her brother's room, but

with a large bookcase. It was empty when she cleaned it last time, but now it’s

full of books. She glanced at the bookcase for a few times, including ‘Military

Science of Sun Zi’, ‘Introduction to Standard Model of Particle Physics’,

‘Thick Black Theory’ and ‘C Programming Language’... The man's books were so

miscellaneous, but none of which had made her feel nice.

Gu Weiyi stared at the computer and asked, ‘Situ

Mo, have you looked enough?’

Mo looked around his room again and nodded,

‘Almost.’

‘Are you playing games?’ Mo looked in. His hand

moved the mouse, sometimes knocked on the keyboard, and then the person on the

screen fell down one by one. She felt very novel. Mo was a game idiot. When she

was at home, her brother tried to teach her how to play the Legend of Sword and

Fairy, but abandoned when she had made Zhao Linger die more than a dozen times

in half an hour.

Gu Weiyi looked at her distractedly, ‘Do you

want to play?’

Mo shook her head. ‘You don't know how stupid I

am to play games.’

Gu Weiyi laughed, ‘Not just playing games,

right?’

Mo was depressed, ‘I’m not in the mood to talk

to you, I’m going to find something to eat.’

‘Wait a minute, I love to challenge stupidity.’

Gu Weiyi stopped her and gave up her seat. ‘Come here, I'll teach you to play.’

Mo sat down reluctantly. He stood behind her and

instructed her to register. Mo hesitated about the name of the account. She

really had not played this online game yet. What name should she choose to

avoid being a green hand? She turned her head to see Gu Weiyi. ‘Mo,’ he said.

It was the first time she had heard her first

name from him, a little uncomfortable. She turned quickly to type ‘Mo’ in the

account column and then entered the game. She really did not know what to do

next, and looked back at Gu Weiyi. He said: ‘marry me.’

Mo felt like her head had been bombed by a

grenade, stunned, ‘That’s not good, right?’

Gu Weiyi pushed her head: ‘You haven't woken up

yet. I said marry in the game, then I can take you to beat monsters, and you

would be able to upgrade quickly. What did you think of?

Mo blushed quietly and said, ‘No, I don’t want

to marry you in the game’

Gu Weiyi hummed, ‘Otherwise, would you like to

marry me in reality? I have no interest.’

Mo was in a bad mood for being disliked, she

pushed aside the chair and stood up. ‘ I'm not playing anymore.’

Gu Weiyi shrugged his shoulders and said, ‘Then

to eat something. There's food in the refrigerator. Just microwave it. The

licorice tablets are on the table of living room. Remember to eat.’

‘Why I need to eat licorice tablets?’ Mo stopped to ask

as she was about to walk out of the room.

Gu Weiyi had sat down and resumed playing the

game. He said to her casually, ‘Licorice tablets can cure wine rash. You don't

even know that? How did you grow up!’

She didn't answer back and walked out of his

room, found the licorice tablets on the living room table. The bag was

downstairs from the drugstore. The time on the receipt was this morning. Mo got

stunned with the medicine. She began to go to boarding school after primary

school. She spent most of her time at school. Taking care of herself was

something she had learned when she was very young. She was used to being

independent. Even her parents believed that she could take good care of

herself. She's used to taking care of herself and others, and it seemed that

nobody ever thought that she might need someone to take care of her... She

coughed clearly twice, pressed down her slightly choked throat, and got up to

microwave food in the kitchen.

Later,

until the two officially got together, and Mo married Gu Weiyi on the game. she

found out that his account name was ‘Wei’. ‘Wei’ and ‘Mo’ - these two words

just have husband-wife looks in Chinese, as if they would be sorry for their

looks without getting married.
