It was about eight o’clock in the evening when Su Lin appeared.

The colour of the night was getting darker. Su Lin was walking while holding a document in his hand, no one knew what he was exactly reading.

His figure was well proportioned, the suit on his body outlined his broad shoulders and narrow waist, and the suit trousers wrapped around his straight legs, revealing a hint of asceticism.

Unlike the one she had seen before, he had a pair of gold-rimmed glasses sitting comfortably on the bridge of his nose, adding a touch of softness and bookishness to his well-defined face.

She had read about Su Lin, who had been an outstanding student since he was a child.

Both in the eyes of his teachers and his parents.

With his powerful father down, Su Lin had to take on the responsibilities that his father carried, and he had to take care of not only his father but also his tender mother.

Because he had honed his skills in the company, the people in the company did not reject Su Lin’s rise to the top.

Once Su Lin became the general manager, he began to tidy up the company.

The reason why Su Yu fell so quickly was that that there was a mole in Su Corps, and that mole was none other than one of the Ye Corp’s men who had secretly lurked in Su for years.

Su Yu had treated him well, but he had never thought that he would bite back and secretly tell Ye’s chairman, Ye Yu’s father, about the company’s secrets.

Su Yu’s anger attacked his heart, and coupled with years of strain and loss of health, he collapsed.

When Su Lin found out, he sternly investigated the company up and down, only to discover that there were many problems. To solve these, Su Lin had very little time to rest and worked far more than he rested, but he could not collapse because behind him, there were his parents.

The company was his father’s heart and soul, and if it was lost, Su Yu would probably not be able to support it either.

Once Su Lin got into the car, there were two knocks on the window.

The eyes beneath the lenses also flashed in a misty-eyed way when they saw Bai Cluster outside the window.

Bai Tong withdrew her hand and her sweet red lips twitched, “Can I talk to you?”

When Su Lin saw her, he remembered what had happened when he was separated earlier, and his hand that was holding the document began to burn again.

The wine consort whispered next to her, “Host, you’ll scare Su Lin to death if you come up and say you’ll acquire Ye’s.”

Although the host was very awesome, saying so was too direct.
