Xi Ying turned to look at the pond in the small garden.

The frog in his hand was most likely captured in the pond.

“Do you skip class?” Xi Ying kneeled and began speaking with the teenager.

The young man’s hand motions came to a halt.

He lifted his eyes to stare at Xi Ying, his lovely violet pupils gleaming in the sunlight.

It turned out to be a mixed race.

“How about you? Don’t you go to class?” the boy responded.

“Because my grades are so outstanding, the teacher let me come out and play during class. Is this the problem of the academic bully?” Xi Ying shrugged.

“Pfft.” The teenager with the icy face was delighted by Xi Ying’s statements.

“You’re really narcissistic.” He returned his gaze to the frog and continued to dissect it.

Xi Ying kept a close eye on his actions.

Five minutes later, the young guy stopped, glanced at Xi Ying, and asked in surprise, “Aren’t you afraid?”

“No.” Xi Ying grinned as she glanced at the broken frog.

She’s even killed a man, let alone a frog.

The word “no” from Xi Ying seemed to loosen the boy’s heart knot, allowing him to speak to Xi Ying.

This time, the chuckle was natural, with no gloom in it.

“You are so naive. You are so easily fooled.”

The young man’s cheeks flushed due to Xi Ying’s teasing.

“You don’t think you can deceive me simply because you’re a high school senior!”

Xi Ying also noted that her school outfit differed somewhat from the teenager’s school uniform.

“Are you going to leave?” The young guy had finally found someone who would listen to him, and when he realized that Xi Ying was going, he regretfully inquired.

“My name is Yuan Bai, and what is yours?”

“My name is Shang Yu, and I am a member of Class 26!” Shang Yu quickly responded.

“Shang Yu?” Xi Ying frowned slightly.

“You are of mixed race, and you have such a Chinese name?”

“My father gave me my English name, and my mother gave me my Chinese name.” When it came to his parents, Xi Ying noticed small stars sparkling in Shang Yu’s beautiful eyes.
