In the end, it was decided that the deputy director in charge of the air combat scenes and two original animators would accompany Shen Zhenghui. He also needed to contact Miyamoto to confirm the start date of the TV series production. Fortunately, this business trip was not long, not exceeding a week. However, when saying goodbye, Shen Zhenghui felt that Fukuda Mihime was looking at him with a meaningful gaze.

This time, there was no Wang Anran to pick him up at the airport; he was busy to the point of being at his wits' end. It was clear that he was going to take over the family business, and under the family's arrangements, he had already started his grassroots training as a deputy township head in a certain county of a certain city in a certain province. The Wang family was too proud.

Fortunately, Wang Anran had already arranged everything. He called someone Shen Zhenghui knew to pick him up and had already informed Teacher Song. Shen Zhenghui only needed to contact Teacher Song before going to confirm that he was available.

Shen Zhenghui, who was not one to waste time, got into the car arranged by Wang Anran and received Teacher Song's phone number from Lu Ji, a former military man and guard of the Wang family. He immediately called Teacher Song.

Teacher Song on the other end of the phone was very polite, saying that he had a book signing event the next day and could talk to Shen Zhenghui after the event in a small office at the book fair. Such a humble attitude made Shen Zhenghui quite surprised. He thanked Teacher Song profusely over the phone and felt his heart pounding even after hanging up.

"Mr. Shen, are we going to meet Teacher Song, the author of 'Air Combat Hero'?" Ma Zhen, the air combat scene supervisor, asked in surprise.

"Um, I think so." Shen Zhenghui knew Teacher Song but didn't remember what specific books he had written. "What is 'Air Combat Hero' about?"

"It's about World War II air combat cases!" Ma Zhen's face showed admiration. "Teacher Song's research level in this area is unmatched even by professional military researchers! Are we really going to visit him?"

"Didn't we already say that?" Shen Zhenghui spread his hands, looking calm and composed. "This time, we are looking for an expert."

The other two animators also perked up.

Ma Zhen laughed. "I want to ask Teacher Song for an autograph; I've read all his books."

Shen Zhenghui smiled and the car headed to the pre-booked hotel.

Teacher Song was a non-mainstream second-generation red, whose father held a high-ranking position in the party. However, Teacher Song was passionate about military and literature, with no interest in politics or making money. He started as a regular editor and worked his way up to deputy editor-in-chief of a publishing house, with his affiliation at an intelligence agency but actually focusing on writing. His background and connections allowed him to broaden his horizons, making him an expert in military history with a unique perspective. He published a large number of military history research papers and novels, ranking first in non-professional military history research in the country, and even many professionals could not match him.

Therefore, Shen Zhenghui needed Wang Anran to facilitate the visit to this professional in every sense. In fact, Wang Anran was a generation younger than Teacher Song, but his father was quite familiar with Teacher Song. However, Teacher Song was an anomaly among the second-generation reds, with no bad records and a genuine love for his work. When Wang Anran called to say that his friend had some military questions to ask Teacher Song, Teacher Song readily agreed to help and provided his phone number. This would be unimaginable for other second-generation reds.

The hotel Shen Zhenghui booked was naturally a high-end place. After Lu Ji dropped them off, he said he would stay with the car to facilitate their travel.

Shen Zhenghui smiled and said everyone was tired and needed to rest early, and they wouldn't go out. He asked to be picked up early the next morning to go to the bookstore for the book signing. He persuaded the responsible driver to go back.

The four of them had four rooms. Shen Zhenghui wouldn't bother these young people if they wanted to go out. He greeted them and said they could go out to eat and play, and the expenses would be reimbursed. Then he went to his room, closed the door, tidied up a bit, and took out the phone number of Aizawa Tomoaki given to him by Fukuda Mihime and dialed it.

"Moshi moshi," Aizawa Tomoaki's slightly puzzled voice came from the other end. "This is Aizawa Tomoaki. Who is this?"

"It's me," Shen Zhenghui said, suppressing his excitement.

"Ah? Is it Mr. Shen? Are you in Beijing?" The tone on the other end was indeed surprised.

"Yes, on a business trip," Shen Zhenghui took a deep breath. "I'm at the Beijing International Hotel. Are you free to come over now?"

"I still... have a class..." The girl's voice sounded very conflicted.

"No problem, not in a hurry," Shen Zhenghui looked at his watch. "I'll come to pick you up for dinner."

"Okay... um, sure. Does Mr. Shen know where I am?" Aizawa Tomoaki asked.

"I'm not far from your place," Shen Zhenghui replied.

"Alright, our next class is in the experimental theater. You can ask anyone on campus, and they'll know where it is," Aizawa Tomoaki replied.

"Okay," Shen Zhenghui put down the phone and suddenly jumped up in excitement. He pressed his temples, "I've been holding back for so long." Then he remembered something, "I didn't bring that thing."

Actually, the hotel bathroom had it prepared, but when Shen Zhenghui saw the price, he automatically switched to a frugal mindset. Of course, he didn't want that item to appear on the invoice, which wouldn't happen anyway. Using this as an excuse, he decided to go to the supermarket to buy and choose a suitable model and flavor. So when he appeared at the entrance of the drama school, he had a box of rubber products in his coat pocket.

"Experimental theater?" Shen Zhenghui thought and stepped into the campus.

Perhaps it was the lingering student vibe on Shen Zhenghui, but he moved freely in the college, quickly finding the experimental theater following the signs. He entered without any hindrance, as it seemed the students' practice was open to the public. However, when Shen Zhenghui entered, he found that although there weren't many spectators, he wasn't too conspicuous. A play was being performed on stage.

This was probably a performance by the advanced class Aizawa Tomoaki was in. Shen Zhenghui sat down in the audience and began to watch. He recognized that the play being performed was Cao Yu's "Thunderstorm." A few teachers were sitting in the audience, whispering and writing, seemingly acting as judges.

Shen Zhenghui's appearance went largely unnoticed. He sat down next to two students who were watching intently and began to relax and watch the play he had only read in his previous life.

Aizawa Tomoaki was playing the role of Sifeng, with two silly braids. However, in Shen Zhenghui's eyes, her improvement was significant. Her Chinese used to have a heavy accent, but now, as she delivered the weighty lines, she sounded completely natural, and there was no trace of her being Japanese in her movements. Aizawa Tomoaki had completely transformed into a naive girl from the 1920s and 1930s.

Most impressively, her performance, including her expressions and movements, perfectly matched her character. Stage performances require a certain level of exaggeration, and Aizawa Tomoaki's performance as a Japanese student was almost a natural portrayal. However, her current performance was vastly different from her natural self. Shen Zhenghui could clearly sense her deep understanding and recognition of the character, which was both surprising and puzzling.

"The level of this advanced class is quite good!" The man next to Shen Zhenghui said to the woman beside him. "This Sifeng doesn't look like a Japanese actress at all."

"What? You're interested in her too?" The woman's response was mostly teasing.

"Cough, I'm just making an observation," the man said, choking a bit. "You can't help but admire her."

The woman snorted. "She doesn't need your admiration. You're still a student, but she's already a famous actress in Japan."

"Actresses also come to our school to study, don't they?" the man countered.

"You guys just like that kind of thing," the woman pouted. "She has a halo effect, making you all infatuated. Even her past involvement in adult films doesn't bother you."

"There's such a thing? I didn't know!" the man exclaimed, feeling wronged. "But Senior Tao will also be a famous actress in the future, and she will make the younger students infatuated too."

"Pah, I can't compare to Japanese women! Their nationality is a bonus."

Shen Zhenghui glanced sideways at the two people next to him, finding it amusing but quickly shook his head and focused on Aizawa Tomoaki's performance.

As if sensing Shen Zhenghui's gaze, the man turned and patted his shoulder. "Bro, which year and which department are you from? I haven't seen you before."

The woman, however, looked puzzled. "You seem familiar." She covered her mouth, deep in thought.

"I'm a friend of Aizawa Tomoaki, here to see her," Shen Zhenghui said, and the faces of the man and woman turned red.

"Oh... really sorry," the man quickly shook hands with Shen Zhenghui. "I'm Zheng Chao, from the 1998 acting class. This is Senior Tao Jingjing from the 1997 acting class. Are you Aizawa Tomoaki's boyfriend? Your Chinese is really good." Zheng Chao laughed.

Shen Zhenghui was momentarily at a loss on how to respond to their enthusiasm. His expression stiffened, and he pulled back his hand, which Zheng Chao was holding. "Sorry, I'm Chinese, though my Japanese is also good."

"Ha ha ha..." Zheng Chao continued laughing, whether intentionally or not. "Really sorry."

His loud laughter drew the attention of the teachers in the front row, who glared at him. He quickly shut up and lowered his voice. "We have some things to do, so we won't keep you waiting for Aizawa Tomoaki." Zheng Chao turned to Tao Jingjing, signaling her to leave.

Unexpectedly, Tao Jingjing's eyes widened. "I know who you are, you're the male lead in the movie Aizawa Tomoaki starred in!"

Zheng Chao immediately turned around, his face full of surprise, and continued to hold Shen Zhenghui's hand. "A colleague, nice to meet you! Which school did you graduate from? You're developing in Japan?"
