Summer was led into the classroom, his disheveled appearance still not tidied up. Walking alongside Wang Sihan, he looked completely out of place. At this moment, Summer seemed utterly dejected, but his eyes, though lacking in vitality, showed no sign of what he was thinking. No one knew what was on his mind.

However, his presence did not affect everyone's mood to watch the beauty. Summer was led to his seat and sat down without a second thought. Despite his outward appearance, Summer was not as dull as he seemed. In fact, his heart was already in turmoil. His unresponsive eyes did not hinder his observation of his surroundings. This body was not his own, but a rebirth in another person, and his name was still Summer. If his previous self had died, he should have been able to sense it. But after using cultivation techniques to probe, he found no clues or residual information in his brain.

Sitting on his seat, he did not even notice that Wang Sihan had already left. With a beauty by his side, it should have been the time to show his affection, but Summer was completely focused on his own body. There was a flaw in his dantian, and to gather qi and achieve true cultivation, he needed to fix it. However, this world was not the one he had lived in before.

Everything was murky and gray, with no blue sky, and everywhere was noisy and chaotic. There was no tranquility, and no place suitable for cultivating and harmonizing with nature. In just a moment, Summer saw all this, realizing that this was a place where humans lived, but it was completely different from his world.

In a world where the strong were respected, anyone with lower cultivation could be treated like an ant. Unfortunately, this was not such a world, and Summer was just an ordinary person, with no cultivation and a physical flaw in his dantian. He could not understand how he could cultivate in such a body and environment. His disappointment spread rapidly.

As classes started and ended, and then started and ended again, Summer's gaze remained dull, always looking forward. The teacher, thinking that the young master of the Xia family was looking at her, felt happy. Although she knew that the young master of the Xia family was impotent, she thought she might still be able to arouse him. Thinking of the wealth of the Xia family, which could be as rich as a nation, she became excited.

The teacher's excitement made her act flirtatiously, which made the male students drool. The female students, however, whispered and mostly cursed the teacher's flirtatious behavior. Unfortunately, the teacher had misread the situation and directed her flirtation in the wrong direction.

Unaware of all this, Summer remained lost in thought. A teacher, feeling resentful, quietly walked to Summer's side and lightly nudged him with her elbow, but Summer did not react. The teacher, unable to contain her anger, shouted, "Summer, stand up!"

The angry shout filled Summer's ears, making him snap out of his thoughts. He stood up, looked at the teacher, and said with a glare, "Do you need something? If you do, say it quickly, I'm busy!"

The teacher was speechless. She had misread the situation and directed her flirtation in the wrong direction. Summer had not been looking at her, and his eyes did not move. She wondered what kind of cultivation he was practicing, or if it was the same as the legend that had left the young man heartbroken. The teacher did not blame Summer for his rudeness but thought that he was still in a state of shock. After all, Summer was still the young master of the Xia family, and he could not be offended, no matter how disheveled he was.

She left reluctantly. Summer leaned on the desk again and picked up a physics book, but the characters were hard for him to understand. What was force? What were electrons? However, he could understand some of the words based on his judgment. In his world, they still spoke Chinese, but the characters were ancient. Based on their common origin, Summer could recognize some characters, and by guessing the shapes, he recognized many more. However, he could not understand the meaning of the entire passage.

Summer put the book down. Wang Sihan was so close to him, but he felt a sense of distance. He did not know the reason, and he did not understand this world. Could she help him understand it? He thought about it and realized that she looked very much like his former lover, even in her mannerisms. Could she be the reincarnation of his former lover?

In their cultivation world, reincarnation was a concept, but he could not be sure if he was reincarnated. However, his current memories were from his past life. No matter what, to survive, he had to rely on himself. He looked at himself and realized that his appearance did not match the girl named Sihan.

While Summer was thinking about his future, he heard someone calling his name. Looking in the direction of the voice, he was surprised to see Wang Sihan. She had just left. As she approached, Summer caught a familiar scent. On the playground, he had been so surprised and preoccupied that he had not noticed the scent on Wang Sihan.

Now he truly noticed the faint jasmine fragrance. He remembered that his former lover had loved jasmine. Could she also love jasmine? Summer subconsciously looked up and saw the face that made him feel intoxicated. Was she still the same person? Could she really be her reincarnation?

Summer felt that the more he thought about it, the more absurd it seemed. He did not know how he had been reborn, and heaven would not give him or her a second chance. The power of heaven could not be deceived, or it would bring down lightning. She had endured the punishment to protect him, and she had already died, while he had survived. Even when he wanted to die, he ended up in this world.

That past had left a deep impression on him. Since he had been reborn and survived, perhaps she could also be reborn. Thinking of this, Summer's eyes grew brighter, no longer dull. If he tidied himself up, he would not look like a slob, but rather a handsome man.

Wang Sihan looked at Summer, and the faint sadness on her face reappeared. To Summer, this sadness made her look exactly like his former lover. At the time, he did not know what sadness was, and being with her was the greatest happiness in his life. But when he saw her sadness, he had asked her, though he did not persist.

Now, thinking back, she had already known the outcome, while he had naively believed he was the happiest man in the world. Seeing Wang Sihan's sadness, Summer subconsciously reached out to embrace her, to give her comfort and be her support. His hand was halfway there.

Before he could touch Wang Sihan's jasmine-scented hair, a hand suddenly appeared, like a dove suddenly attacked by an eagle. Summer's wrist was tightly grabbed, and he came back to his senses, looking at the person who had grabbed his hand.

"Scum, take your dirty hands away. Do you think you can touch Sihan? I'll take her from you, even if you have a marriage contract with her," Wang Hao said with a hint of menace, looking at Summer as if he were a mortal enemy. Summer had some impression of Wang Hao from the playground, though he had not paid much attention to him. Wang Hao's arrogance had left a slight impression on him. Summer's lips twitched slightly.

Wang Sihan did indeed look like his former lover, but they were separated by life and death. However, because of this resemblance, Summer could not back down. Although he had no true qi, he still remembered the martial arts techniques he had practiced. Despite his weak body, he believed he could easily deal with Wang Hao.

Summer's hand moved quickly, not as strong as Wang Hao's but more agile. Using a clever technique, he broke free from Wang Hao's grip. Wang Hao had given him a piece of information: he and Wang Sihan had a marriage contract. Therefore, Wang Sihan was his wife, and he had the right to embrace his wife without interference from outsiders.

Wang Hao was surprised that the person he considered a waste could break free from his grip. With a group of followers behind him, this was embarrassing.

Before he could react, another hand aimed a black tiger heart strike at Summer's chest. Summer, however, was not going to let him succeed. His other hand moved quickly, grabbing Wang Hao's wrist with precision, causing a sudden numbness that stopped the powerful punch.

At this point, Wang Sihan could not stand it anymore. She turned to Wang Hao and said, "Wang Hao, this is my business. Please don't interfere. And I don't want you to hurt Summer." She then pulled Summer away, giving Wang Hao no chance to explain. Wang Hao was stunned, and his followers slowly approached, one of them saying, "Brother Hao, shall we find some brothers to teach that Summer a lesson? Make him back off and stay away from Sister Sihan."

Wang Hao thought for a moment and raised his hand to stop the group. "No, women need to be won over. If you go and beat up Summer, it will only make her feel more sympathetic towards him. Women are emotional and naturally sympathetic to the weak. That wouldn't be good." "Brother Hao, you're a real Casanova! I've learned a lot. Haha!"
