"Maybe that's her fate! Inevitable fate!" Ye Lan didn't know whether she was exclaiming over the Snow Monster or herself! She was in the same situation. She came to the Fengtian Continent inexplicably. She guarded her body but didn't know who she was and where she was from.

Ye Lan’s brain went blank for a while but Libao looked around excitedly. He turned back to Ye Lan excitedly after looking up and down for some time to make sure that he really got out.

But he only saw Ye Lan's confused face. Her mind was wandering. The Shilian Tower was just like a normal ancient tower but its walls were painted with different ghosts and monsters. The deep corridor, the dim lights and everything revealed its oddity and enchantment.

On the wall, there were fairies like apsaras from Dunhuang's Mogao Caves, devils in animal forms from the hell, a mountain of swords and a sea of flames and the burning-oil bath! It didn't seem like a prison but like a huge museum!

Ye Lan looked at the murals and touched every inch of the wall with her fingers. A faint fire started in her heart and the lights in her eyes were faint as well! The murals were not painted on the wall. They were real! When Ye Lan realized it, she withdrew her hands quickly and pulled Libao close to her.

These ghosts were surprised by her power to extinguish the Snow Monster, so they hid in the murals. They were not afraid of her but they just didn't want to have a connection with her.

So, they were trying to keep away from her.

Outside the tower.

"She starts to move again! She starts to move again!" Somebody shouted suddenly. Ming Qingyu raised his head slightly and watched the golden lights on the tower moving slowly. She was really alive! Still alive!

God knew how much Ming Qingyu was worried about Ye Lan! But he had no choice and couldn't help her. He would like to break into the tower and found her.

Xiao Hei felt so cold in his heart. He knew Ye Lan wanted to challenge the Shilian Tower and he also knew no one could stop Ye Lan from what she wanted to do.

He couldn't open his mouth to stop her, but he couldn't watch her take risks without doing anything. She couldn't get hurt. Not even the slightest bit.

Feng Ming knew Feng Yi sent a secret guard to protect Ye Lan. Because she was there to protect Ye Lan, Feng Ming decided to turn a blind eye to him and let him guard Ye Lan. But Feng Ming just wanted Feng Yi's secret guard to see what he should see.

As for what shouldn't be seen, he would not let Feng Yi's secret guard knew.

But he was overly secretive and the guard didn't know that Ye Lan went to the Shilian Tower.

"Damn it. What’s the stupid secret guard doing?! Feng Yi still kept this person around. Really! So stupid!" Feng Ming wandered in the forest swiftly like a gust of wind when he complained about the guard. Finally, he found the guard.

"Who is this?"

"How can you protect Ye Lan with such vigilance! Your master really trusts you!"

"Feng Ming?!" The guard narrowed his eyes warily and prepared to fight with his hands.

"Take back your move. Ye Lan was in trouble." Feng Ming squinted at the guard, frowned disdainfully and then reprimanded angrily when he flicked his sleeves.

"What?!" The secret guard was surprised. He didn't even move. How could Ye Lan have an accident?! If his master knew, he would be skinned! "What's the matter? What happened?"

"Ye Lan has gone to the Shilian Tower." Feng Ming frowned and said honestly. "Give Feng Yi a signal right now and ask him to go to the Shilian Tower. Ye Lan can make it till he comes."

"Okay." The secret guard felt surprised. He knew it was a big deal when he heard the words "the Shilian Tower". So, he didn't argue and started to do it immediately.

" Ye Lan, hang in there!" Feng Ming blinked his eyes and frowned with distress.

The Shilian Tower.

Ye Lan had reached the sixth floor. She walked along the dark spiraling stairs and went upwards. An invisible stone door stopped her.

"Ah! How can I get through? The stone door is just here." Libao knocked on the stone door, "The door is at least four cubits thick. How can we get through?" Libao knocked on the door again and again. He frowned and complained.

"Let's see if there's any protuberant stone next to the door that is loose and can be pushed down. Try your best." Ye Lan had no idea either. She hadn't frequently explored underground palace like this one. What she liked was the modern infrared ray, especially those dense ones. You would get a scar if you touched it, but she liked the feeling of passing the lights and not getting hurt.

They looked around but found nothing. Ye Lan frowned angrily and scratched her head. Her hair became frizzier. Libao looked at her and smiled. He lifted his chubby paws and stroked Ye Lan's head. Ye Lan couldn't come up with any good idea, so she shouted with her hands on her waist. "Hey, old man. Come out quickly."

"Oh, coming, coming. Here I am. Don't rush me. I'm too old for your urge." The old man came out of the space slowly with a wisp of white smoke. He smiled and sat in the air with his legs crossed.

"Hehe. You're just a ghost. You don’t need to walk by foot." Libao rolled his eyes at him and mocked.

"Hey. You naughty boy. Don't you know you should respect the old and love the young?" The old man talked back rightly.

"Okay, both of you stop talking. How can we open the door?" Ye Lan looked at the two people disdainfully and lifted her chin to ask the old man to look at the door.

The old man floated to the door and muttered something. He moved his fingers slightly and held an amulet in the void. The stone door slowly lifted and made thundering noises when he pointed at the door suddenly. "Hey, it's opening."

"It's open." Ye Lan and Libao looked at the open door excitedly. They nodded with satisfaction. The old man was awesome.

"The door of the sixth floor opened." The dean panicked. This girl still wanted to go.

"You're still going in?" The dean frowned and sent a message to Ye Lan in his mind, "You still want to go inside, girl?"

"Don't you expect me to do so?" Ye Lan rolled her eyes and talked back directly in her mind.

"..." The dean paused because he was choked by Ye Lan's answer, "Okay. Then you have to pay attention and take care of yourself."

"You don't have to tell me that." Ye Lan rolled her eyes and sneered. It was none of his business.

After they passed the stone door, it fell down with huge noises. Ye Lan and Libao entered the sixth floor at ease. The sixth floor seemed to be bigger than the fifth. Ye Lan couldn't help but frown. The pattern from the inside was quite different from the outside. It seemed to be square from the red Shilian Tower's appearance, which meant the sixth floor was smaller than the fifth. But it turned out to be bigger than the fifth floor.

Ye Lan frowned confusedly. It was such a wonderful art. Or, it was still an illusion?

"Is it still an illusion? Isn't the sixth floor smaller than the fifth floor? How could it be bigger than the fifth floor when we entered here?" Ye Lan smiled because Libao had the same idea.

"Not bad." Ye Lan lifted her hand and patted Libao's little head. "Not bad. You can tell things yourself."

"What. I know things too." Libao glanced at Ye Lan and grumbled with dissatisfaction.

"Ho! Ho!" The sonic shock from the loud roar made Ye Lan and Libao moved a few steps back when they were teasing each other. They were forced to go back to the stone door. Ye Lan raised her head and blocked the sound waves subconsciously.

"Ho ho!" Finally, the voice became lower. Ye Lan shook the dust off her head and looked at it slowly. A giant saint beast.

It looked so weird.

"What is this?!" Ye Lan asked subconsciously, frowning.

"A beast lives in the North Sea named Ho. It looks like a rabbit with sharp and long ears and is only a few feet long. But even the lions are afraid of it, because when it touches someone’s body, the body will rot." The old man said slowly, "This is Ho! It's the son of the dragon. It's locked up here because it doesn't behave. I can’t believe its temper is still so bad after so many years."

"Ho!" Libao gritted his teeth. "Try to compete about voice volume with me! I won’t lose!" Libao couldn't be stopped by Ye Lan. He turned around and waggled his hips. All of a sudden, he made a huge noise and became as big as Ho.

"Move away from here!" Libao turned around and shouted at Ye Lan. Ye Lan frowned and moved to the stone door slowly. Libao wasn't cute at all now; he glared at Ho over there with his mouth wide open.

The Shilian Tower was amazing. It changed its acreage with Libao and Ho's sizes. No wonder so many monsters could fit in. And no wonder the sixth floor was way bigger than the fifth. The Shilian Tower was an enchantment for outsiders and there was another enchantment inside. The inside enchantment was far bigger than the outside one and it could grow with the growth of the monsters. So, it couldn't be destroyed and no one could escape.

This meant all the monsters had an invisible yoke on their body. And they were trapped here no matter how and where.

"Libao!" Ye Lan shouted but didn't know what to say. Came on, Libao!

Unfortunately, Ho was the son of the dragon and had tens of thousands of years more training than Libao. Though Libao was born a Saint Beast, his weakness was still the lack of training. The two beasts roared and made shocking noises, as if the sky and earth were shaking.

The students outside the Shilian Tower were so frightened by the roar. They covered their ears, huddled and shivered. The dean frowned and called on all the elders of the Law Enforcement to thicken the enchantment to protect people in the Fengtian Academy.

Though Ming Qingyu was protected in the enchantment, his heart still flew to the tower. How was Ye Lan inside the tower when the trial was so fierce? Could she withstand the big sound waves?

It was so calm inside the enchantment, but the sands and stones were flying and the sky changed its color outside the enchantment. The clouds were rolling up and down in the grey sky.

Ah ah!

Libao lost and became his original form. It was so dark in the tower and not much better than the outside. Libao couldn't stand it. He was forced to move backwards and bent his strong legs. Ye Lan knew something was wrong. She rolled over to Libao's back to offer a hand. Unfortunately, she was a little bit late. When she was just at Libao's side, Libao couldn't stand the soundwave. So both of them were overturned to the side.
