Two days later, Li Xuan indeed received a positive response from Han Peng. He chose to join Oriental Electronics and work together to create a new venture.

Han Peng needed to go through a series of procedures to resign from Ampere Penta, and it would take at least half a month before he could officially join. However, he had already started to strategize and plan for Li Xuan.

After more than a month of continuous expansion, the number of employees in the R&D and production departments of Oriental Electronics had exceeded five hundred. The company was about to build a motherboard factory, which would further increase the number of employees. However, the current organizational structure was not complete, with departments such as administration, logistics, finance, and marketing yet to be established.

According to the discussions between Li Xuan and Han Peng, the complete framework of Oriental Electronics in the future should include a CEO, which would be Han Peng. He would be responsible to Li Xuan, the owner. Under the CEO, there would be six major departments: administration, production, logistics, finance, marketing, and R&D.

The administrative department would include divisions such as administration, human resources, public relations, and legal affairs, overseen by an executive vice president. The production department would include the current arcade factory and the planned motherboard factory. The logistics department would include divisions such as procurement, warehousing, and transportation. The production and logistics departments would be overseen by an operations vice president.

The finance and marketing departments would be overseen by a chief financial officer and a chief marketing officer, respectively. The R&D department, which includes the current game development and hardware development divisions, would be overseen by a vice president of R&D.

The R&D department would be directly managed by Li Xuan himself. He had decided to appoint Du Wenqiang, the chubby man, as the vice president of R&D, and Liang Ning, the middle-aged literary man, would take over the game development department.

In addition, adhering to the principle of not doubting those he trusted, Li Xuan entrusted Han Peng with the task of recruiting all other middle and upper-level management positions. Han Peng did not辜负 Li Xuan's trust. Although he had not yet officially resigned from Ampere Penta, he had already quietly started poaching from his former employer.

Han Peng's first move was to find a highly experienced production manager for the rapidly expanding arcade production department, which was lagging in management.

Compared to Li Xuan, who was clueless, Han Peng, who had served as the executive vice president of Ampere Penta, the largest and most technologically advanced electronics company in Hong Kong, for three years, had a thorough understanding of the entire electronics industry in Hong Kong. He spent only one evening listing a full page of potential candidates for Li Xuan. For each vacant position at Oriental Electronics, he could find two to three suitable candidates to take on the role.

Han Peng spent an entire morning introducing each candidate's background to Li Xuan. His list was more in line with the actual needs of Oriental Electronics than that of a headhunting company. Through this, he subtly demonstrated his capabilities to Li Xuan.

Li Xuan was naturally very satisfied. Letting professionals handle professional matters, he could finally be freed from the company's tedious affairs. The decision to negotiate with Epson to quickly establish a motherboard factory, which Li Xuan had originally planned, was postponed on Han Peng's advice.

Building a motherboard factory seemed extremely difficult to Li Xuan, who had no factory management experience. However, to Han Peng, an industry insider, it was much simpler. He could easily poach a few technicians and managers from local circuit board factories in Hong Kong, such as Wang's Electronics and Yili Company, to run the factory.

Whether Epson provided technical support or not was not a significant issue, but Epson needed Oriental Electronics' large-scale chip orders. Therefore, Oriental Electronics held the upper hand in negotiations, and it was Epson that was anxious. Oriental Electronics could delay the talks, waiting for the other party to become desperate, to gain the maximum benefit.

Li Xuan hadn't strolled around the campus of the University of Hong Kong for a long time. In the past month, he had been so busy that he rarely had time to return to his dormitory, and he had missed many dorm activities.

"Vincent, you finally showed up! There's a soccer match with the University of Hong Kong this afternoon. Are you interested in joining?"

Li Xuan had just entered Belyeung Hall when he encountered a boy with a middle part hairstyle and a square face. He was Pan Zhiwen, a die-hard Liverpool fan and one of Li Xuan's soccer buddies, who lived on the third floor.

"Of course, count me in!" Li Xuan nodded in agreement. "How strong is the other team? They're not the University of Hong Kong's varsity team, right?"

"How could they be? That would be asking for a beating. I'm not that stupid!" Pan Zhiwen chuckled. "Don't worry, they're terrible. We beat them 4-1 last time, and they still have the nerve to challenge us again!"

"Is the match at our school or theirs?"

"Neither. They have a rich guy who likes to show off and has already booked a field at Happy Valley. It's at 1:30 PM. You can drive there directly if you have a car!"

The central area of Happy Valley Racecourse had been converted into a recreational area by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, with five grass fields and two small artificial turf fields. It was open to the public on non-racing days. The quality of the grass was well-maintained, and the cost of booking a field was not cheap, at 100 Hong Kong dollars for two hours.

After agreeing to play soccer with Pan Zhiwen in the afternoon, Li Xuan continued up the stairs to his dorm room. Since the dinner at Lin's residence a few days ago, he hadn't had the chance to meet Lin Yuhao and didn't know what he thought of his previous proposal.

The door to the dorm room was slightly ajar. Li Xuan pushed it open and saw his roommate engrossed in writing something.

"Knock, knock!"

He tapped lightly on the door, causing Lin Yuhao to look up.

Lin Yuhao smiled when he saw it was Li Xuan. "You finally remembered to come back. I've almost felt like I applied for a single room. I was even considering asking the warden to assign me a new roommate!"

"Hehe, when I'm not around, it's more convenient for you to bring girls back and do as you please!" Li Xuan said with a mischievous grin. "What are you writing so seriously? Not a love letter, I hope!"

"You came at the right time. I was just about to find you to talk!" Lin Yuhao said seriously. "Were you serious about what you said the other day?"

"You mean about you developing real estate on the mainland?"

"Yes. I did some research over the past few days and found that your proposal has potential. I also called Director Cai in Shenzhen and learned that someone has already made contact with the mainland authorities!" Lin Yuhao said.

"So, it's not just us who have foresight!" Li Xuan chuckled. "Come up with a specific plan over the next few days. This weekend, I'll go with you to Shenzhen to meet Director Cai Yongmin. The one million investment I mentioned is not a joke!"

Lin Yuhao nodded without saying much. Over the past few days, he had taken the time to think about many things, including his current situation and future prospects. He was also well aware of how the rest of the Lin family viewed him.

He had never planned to scheme for any wealth from his father, Lin Guita, but others didn't see it that way. He needed to prove that he could succeed on his own, without relying on a single cent from the Lin family!

Initially, when Li Xuan said he would invest one million to support him in developing real estate on the mainland, Lin Yuhao thought it was just a joke. However, after the past few days of research, he realized it was not impossible, and someone had already taken the first step. This made Lin Yuhao's heart burn with excitement!
