Kensington is a famous wealthy district in London, and the most notable building is undoubtedly Kensington Palace, the residence of Princess Diana. However, it was only the beginning of the summer of 1989, and this palace, which symbolized the majesty of the royal family, was off-limits to the vast majority of people without an invitation.

About a street away from Kensington Palace was the independent small villa where Ryan and Nicole lived. In the living room of the villa, two women and a man were sitting around a white table, talking about something.

"What? You want to be my agent?" Ryan asked a white woman in her thirties, who looked shrewd and capable.

The woman carefully examined the boy opposite her, who was about ten years old. The well-fitted dark blue suit made him look somewhat slender. His smooth light brown hair had a golden sheen, and his sky-blue eyes were bright like stars in the sky, occasionally flashing with cunning and mature light.

Ryan was a bit confused and looked at Nicole Kidman, who was sitting next to him, tall and sexy. Her eyes were full of affection.

She tidied up her slightly disheveled auburn curls and then introduced, "Ryan, this is Ms. Paige Kingston, the agent I signed with recently. Paige, this is Ryan Jenkins."

"Nicole..."

Ryan hesitated, quietly holding the woman's hand. No one saw the strange expression that flashed across his face. Whether intentionally or unintentionally, he asked the female agent a few questions and was ninety percent sure.

Well, since he could be reborn, and a great deity had sent Nicole Kidman to his side, making her his guardian, it was quite normal for Nicole to meet her agent from her previous life early, wasn't it?

Indeed, Ryan was quite confident that the Paige Kingston in front of him was the agent of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman from his previous life. He remembered that she signed with Nicole and Tom in 1990, but now she was in London?

Sure enough, the flapping of his little butterfly's wings had altered someone's trajectory.

"You're spacing out again." Nicole gently pinched Ryan's ear. They had been living together for almost three years, and his frequent daydreaming was the most headache-inducing thing for her.

Ryan showed a shy smile. After living in London for two years and being strictly taught by a etiquette teacher, his every move exuded good manners and upbringing.

"Ryan, I actually came to London with Nicole for you!" Kingston's words gradually made the boy realize something. He guessed roughly what it was but deliberately asked, "Me? Why?"

Kingston didn't answer. She took out her handbag and pulled out three books: "Jurassic Park," "The Ryan Story Collection," and "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone."

These were exactly the three books Ryan had already published!

By now, if Ryan still didn't understand that the other party knew he was the author of these three books, he would be a fool. His first reaction was to look at Nicole, but the Australian woman shook her head, indicating that she hadn't leaked the information.

Ryan could only sigh, his mind racing, and he figured out about seventy to eighty percent of why Kingston was here.

Clearly, the other party had her own sources of information and certain skills. She had somehow found out that he was the author of these three books and realized that dealing with a child wasn't easy. So, she used a roundabout tactic, found the closest person to him, Nicole Kidman, gained her trust, became her dedicated agent, and then traveled all the way to London.

In her previous life, she had thrived in Hollywood and eventually made Tom Cruise look bad. She was indeed a person with vision and skills, able to identify the most suitable investment targets before others even noticed.

Ryan wasn't surprised at all that Kingston would come to him. In his previous life, he had some understanding of the agent industry and knew that many agents would take the initiative once they found a worthy investment target. It was only natural that he would be targeted by this female agent.

Not to mention, just looking at the three books on the table was enough.

"Jurassic Park" had been the top of the bestseller list in the United States in 1987 and remained there for over thirty weeks, selling millions of copies in the U.S. and the U.K. alone, making it a top choice for children's literature in many people's eyes.

"Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" was lukewarm but discerning people could see that it was just the beginning of a series. Since its release last year, it had quietly surpassed ten thousand copies in sales.

As for "The Ryan Story Collection," it compiled Ryan's published short stories. Despite being out for only a few months, it had quietly climbed to the top of the bestseller list in the U.S.

Most importantly, anyone with some knowledge of the film industry would understand that his stories were very suitable for adaptation into films. The potential earnings were obvious, and at just nine years old, who knew if he would become the next Stephen King or Michael Crichton.

A fat lamb delivered to the door? Ryan pinched his chin, pondering.

"Ryan, do you want to go back to Los Angeles?" Nicole Kidman suddenly asked.

"Back to America?" Ryan frowned. Even though he had lived in Los Angeles for seven years, it was still a strange city to him.

"It's like this. In a few days, I have to go to Los Angeles for an audition. Why don't we go back together?"

Nicole explained, and Ryan gradually understood. With the release of "Beyond the Horizon," she must have attracted a lot of attention.

"What movie?" Ryan's mind kept repeating, "Please don't be that one, please don't be that one..."

"It's 'Days of Thunder.' If I pass the audition, I can work with Tom Cruise!"

This statement was like a thunderbolt to Ryan. Nicole was one of his favorite actresses from his previous life, and he knew better than anyone what would happen if she participated in "Days of Thunder."

She would fall in love with Tom Cruise, get married after the movie's release, soon have irreconcilable conflicts, and be left devastated. During the divorce, she would be forced to sign a humiliating agreement due to the evidence held by the infamous Italian hired by Tom Cruise.

Was the inertia of history so strong? Was it going to pull Nicole back onto her original path after just two years? This was definitely not what he wanted to see. After more than two years of mutual dependence, he and she had developed a deep bond. He would not allow the person he liked and loved to be hurt, not even a little bit!

"Don't you want to go back to Los Angeles?" Nicole was a bit puzzled. After all, it was his hometown.

"Oh, no, I just suddenly thought of something else." Ryan smoothly changed the subject, looking at the female agent and asking very directly, "Paige, are you Mr. Cruise's agent?"

"Of course not."

Although a bit surprised, Kingston denied it without hesitation, "Actually, I only represent Nicole."

Ryan breathed a sigh of relief. He knew all too well about Nicole's aspirations for Hollywood. If that was the case, then going back to Los Angeles was fine. After preparing for several years, it was time to put the plan into action!

He didn't believe that if he strongly opposed, the bond and relationship they had built over so long would be less than a pretty boy.

Moreover, with a clear intention, he would use some means to make Mr. Tom Cruise back off.

To enter the world of fame and fortune, a skilled agent was essential. Ryan quickly reached a verbal agreement with Kingston. As for the formal contract, it would be signed after they returned to Los Angeles, after being reviewed by his dedicated lawyer, Mr. Wilson.

Since they were leaving London, there were a series of things to handle. Ryan visited all his tutors, especially the masters of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Although they were hired by Nicole at a high price, without their careful guidance, Ryan would not have the musical literacy he has today. He could already compose some not too complex pieces, and his piano and guitar skills were at a professional level.

After Nicole and he went to the school to complete the withdrawal procedures, the next step was to pack their luggage.

He didn't have much stuff. The instruments he used for practice were just ordinary brands and could be easily replaced in Los Angeles. The most valuable things were the manuscripts that filled an entire leather suitcase. If his friends from his previous life saw them, they would drop their jaws. Look at the titles of these manuscripts: "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," "The Sixth Sense," "Titanic," and so on.

Ryan thought for a moment and took out the script for "The Sixth Sense" and the novel "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." These were the things he would need immediately upon return.

Of course, they were copies. He wouldn't give the originals to anyone casually, or they might be sold.

"Ryan, do you need help?" Paige Kingston knocked and entered, seeing the suitcase full of manuscripts, feeling a bit dizzy.

"Paige, this is the second volume of Harry Potter. Give it to the 'Anomaly' publishing house when we get back. This is 'The Sixth Sense,' a movie script. You can take a look first. If it's good, make several copies and send them to major film companies." He directly handed over the two manuscripts. It was hard for new talent to break through in Hollywood, so he would use a script bombardment. Now that he had an agent, he could leave these tasks to her.

"A... a script?" Kingston was a bit surprised. She quickly flipped through them, her eyes getting brighter and brighter, gradually realizing that she might have discovered a gold mine. "Leave it to me. I actually have some connections with major film companies."

It seems that heaven still treats me well! Ryan's lips twitched. Having connections was better than random submissions. He couldn't underestimate Paige Kingston.

As she left, Kingston glanced at the suitcase again, her lips twitching uncontrollably. Could it be that all the manuscripts inside were of this level?
