I found somethings to do while strolling around the city.
1. How to destroy the elf slaves collars.
This is simply because I felt sorry for them and there may be a time when they need complete freedom.
And this is essential for my future plans.
2 .Complete a new dose of recovery drug
I’ve used it quite a lot in the last few days, so I need to make more.
For that reason, I have to go to the royal capital again.
3. Procurement of a cooking elf slave.
This one is a bit complicated. What are the chances I’ll find an elf on sale who can also conveniently cook?
That’s why I decided to go to the royal capital again, but I thought it would be a little difficult to leave the house for three days by carriage and one week as round trip, so I asked Aina if there was anything I could do.
“I have a dragon who was my companion for a while when I was in the elf country… maybe he will still respond to my call, we haven’t talked in a very long time though.”
That’s why I went outside with her and asked her to call them to me.
She reached to below her neckline and lifted some sort of horn that was covered in thorns. After she blew it, it released a great noise that resembled a dragons roar.
“… It seems impossible. I’m sorry to make you expect anything.”
“Well… WHAT THE!?”
“OH! MASTER!!!!!”
“BAAAAH!!”
It went something like that and now I’m riding a dragon.
When I tried to get on, it was a little traumatic and I was intimidated by it’s great roars.
I was really scared.
“Fufu, but I think that the fact that that they are carrying me like this now gives me some credibility.”
“We’re already here! What incredible speed!”
“We can’t land here, master. What should we do?”
“You see that field there? Please tell Dragon-san to land there!”
“Alright!”
“ROAR!”
Aina could apparently understand what Dragon-san was saying and said “I’ve missed you as well.” She then asked him to land in the field.
*****
“Thank you for providing a place to land.”
“No, no way to ride a dragon… expected of Ficelle-san.. So how may I help you today?”
“I want Mr. Gergu to collect what is written on this paper and sell it to me. All of them are materials for complete recovery medicine. Assuming you can’t provide all of them yourself I’ll double the payment for the ones that aren’t easy to find. “
“Are you sure, Ficelle? This is quite a bit of money.”
“I’m aware but this is a necessity. Please contact me via the communication tool when you’re done.”
*******
When Aina said so, Dragon-san flew away with its big wings flapping.
“I see, these are the materials for a complete recovery drug …”
“This is half, but the others are at home.”
Did she actually think I would just hand him the way to make a complete recovery drug, does Aina think so little of my intellect?
“… Okay, I’ll contact you as soon as it’s ready.”
“Thank you. Alright, then we should look for an inn for the time being.”
In this way, we returned to the royal capital again.
*******
It’s been four days since I came to the royal capital, and when I was relaxing at the inn, my call-type magic tool became alive suddenly.
“Yes, this is Ficelle.”
“This is Mr. Gergu. I have the requested items.”
Please don’t make it sound like we did a drug deal, Mr. Gergu.
After picking up the items, Mr. Gergu asked me if I wanted to go to another elf auction.
Realizing this was an ideal opportunity, I said yes.
*******
“What’s the password?”
“Bakerstreet has no irregularities.”
Mr. Gergu had told me this password and then said I was to meet with one of his subordinates who would take us to the auction house once again.
“No, it’s fine, Aina. I can protect myself.”
Aina once again insisted that she go with me to protect me at the elf auction.
Realizing that she wouldn’t give in, I decided to let her.
That said, I gave Aina a jacket with hood.
”Make sure no one finds out you’re a elf.”
“Yes, Master!”
“OK, let’s go.”
So I went to my third elf auction.
*****
Gergu’s subordinate escorted us to a different auction house this time. Apparently they moved them every once in a while or maybe Mr. Gergu was trying to give us a more diverse selection.
Unfortunately, Mr. Gergu had only acquired a pass for one person to be able to go in. Aina has to wait outside.
I’m scared of myself getting used to something, but I still go inside.
While being surrounded by the usual enthusiasm and cheers, we proceed to a place where we can see the stage well and mix in the auction.
As more and more elves were sold, I waited until the elf I was looking for came.
“Then it’s the next elf! This elf has excellent intelligence skills and seems to have been useful in the elf country, and even after being enslaved in this country, it has done many things for humans. On the other side, it appears this elf has been a bad one and tried to escape from her master so she is suffering from a particularly nasty curse that results in loss of hair. I’m sure she could be a tough one to handle and she seems to be suffering from various illnesses. Let’s go, it’s time for an intiruging auction. From 5 million! “
“10 million!”
“12 million!”
“Yes, 12 million! Going once, going twice …”
“15 million!”
“Going once, going twice, sold to the gentlemen with the well worn loafers!”
It seems my shoes were my most noticeable feature, especially amongst a crowd of well dressed people.
Completely unconscious, I also impulsively raised my arm when I saw the suffering elf.
The elf was glaring at me.
******
My coffers running dry, I also purchased another elf with his tongue cut out. He apparently did have some experience cooking so you could say it was a lucky day.
Behind me were the expressionless male and female elves, and Aina.
“Aina, will four people be able to ride on the dragon?”
“I think I can go! It will slow down a little, though.”
“Alrighty”
“Let’s go, then.”
So the four of us went home on the back of the dragon.
During this time, the man who couldn’t speak because his tongue was cut, but the woman who was cursed didn’t speak a word.
And, as I can say in both cases, they both glared at me with hate.
Eyes that said I would kill you right away if I didn’t have a collar.
It’s like having a grudge against me, the world, humans, and God.
A hypocrite who is sympathetic to humans. There was no such thing among enslaved elves.
“… this is hard”
My muttering quibble flew away in the wind.
