Chapter 11

The classroom was divided into two sides, with an aisle in the middle, and each side had a row of six seats. At this moment, two students from other classes who were unfamiliar to them were sitting near the aisle, followed by Gao Jun, Su Yuan, Ji Yehao, and Yang Xiaowei.

Su Yuan didn't bring her textbook, so she had to share with Gao Jun and Ji Yehao. Fortunately, it was the first class, and the teacher usually wouldn't delve into complex topics.

It was well-known that physical chemistry was a very important foundational course, so the school was very strict about it. As expected, the teacher was an associate professor, a woman in her early thirties, who started by taking attendance and bluntly told everyone that anyone who skipped class more than three times would automatically fail the final exam. Her style was very decisive and efficient.

Su Yuan was taken aback and immediately decided that she couldn't skip this class!

The female professor introduced herself and then dove straight into the course overview, followed by the first lecture. The pace was dizzying.

"This Professor Liu is not easy to deal with!" Su Yuan frowned and sighed.

Yang Xiaowei winked at her and gave a thumbs up, "Our Su Su has a good sense! Professor Liu is indeed not easy to deal with. I heard that last year, in a class of about thirty-six or thirty-seven students, half had to retake the final exam, and one-third needed to retake the course."

Su Yuan was stunned and said in disbelief, "Ten students in a class had to retake the course? Professor Liu is really too formidable."

"Why would I lie to you! It's our bad luck to have her!" Yang Xiaowei shrugged, looking like it was all over.

In general, universities have strict entry requirements but are lenient about graduation. It seems that once you get into university, you just wait to graduate. In reality, this is mostly true, except for a few who can't get their diplomas, most can graduate smoothly. This leniency is also reflected in the final exams, where some students in a class need to retake the exam, which is quite common, but needing to retake the course is rare.

"Damn, this is a life-or-death situation!" A boy in the front row, who looked like a punk with a leather jacket and ear piercings, shouted loudly when he heard Yang Xiaowei's words.

Su Yuan poked him with her pen and said, "Fang Kai, if you don't use your brain, you still have a good chance of failing!"

Fang Kai, who looked like a rat with its tail caught, thought for a moment and felt a sudden chill, "Spit, spit, bad luck!"

"Ha ha ha." Su Yuan laughed.

By societal standards, Fang Kai could definitely be classified as a delinquent, but strangely, he and Su Yuan's group had a good relationship. Su Yuan's "curses" were accepted with a smile, but if it were anyone else, they would have been punched.

"Boy over there, pay attention to the class!"

"Su Yuan, it seems to be talking about you!"

"Shh, I know." Su Yuan quickly lowered her head, trying not to expose her face to Professor Liu. A bad impression in the first class could jeopardize the entire course, and she didn't want to repeat the mistakes of calculus. Fortunately, Professor Liu just glanced at her, and the small incident passed quickly.

"Ring, ring, ring!" The first class ended, and there was a ten-minute break. Su Yuan, who had been leaning her head to one side for the entire class, was already feeling stiff and uncomfortable. She slumped on the table like an invertebrate, pretending to nap, which made Ji Yehao and Gao Jun exchange glances.

In the next class, Professor Liu continued her lecture, explaining the textbook content in a way that was both vivid and logical. Even the most difficult concepts became simpler in her explanation. However, this simplicity varied from person to person. Su Yuan glanced around and saw that many students were already playing with their phones, having given up on listening, planning to catch up later.

This was a common situation, and even in the previous semester's calculus course, Su Yuan herself had done the same.

After much anticipation, the bell finally rang, signaling the end of the class. Due to drinking water and a bag of soy milk in the morning, Su Yuan had already felt the urge to use the restroom.

The third and fourth classes were "Human Physiology," which required changing to a different classroom. There was a longer break in between, and after confirming the classroom, Su Yuan handed her textbook to Gao Jun and headed to the restroom.

The hallway was filled with students, some carrying bags and others holding textbooks, causing a temporary traffic jam. When she reached the restroom, she instinctively ran into the men's room because she was currently a "boy," and entering the women's room would have been too strange. Seeing an open stall, she quickly occupied it.

The physiological structure of females differs from that of males, so the state and sound of urination are also different. Due to the development of the organs, many females experience urine wetting their lower body, requiring them to use tissues to wipe.

Su Yuan once read a joke that someone had studied female urination and found that a "hissing" sound, like water rapidly flowing from a broken faucet, indicated a young, strong, and tight female from a physical perspective.

A "sizzling" sound, similar to a toy water gun, suggested that the female was older but still youthful, with more sexual experience. A "rushing" sound indicated a mature woman or someone with extensive sexual experience. A "rustling" or silent sound suggested either a weak and frail condition or a shy, young virgin.

If the sound was a "rushing" with a high-pitched tone, then the person was a transgender individual.

...

The sky was clear, with not a cloud in sight, and the sun was blazing overhead.

Under the shade of a large camphor tree, a gentle breeze brought a hint of coolness.

"Fang Kai, isn't this a bit inappropriate?" After the afternoon computer class, Su Yuan and her dormmates from room 330 were invited by Fang Kai to the rubber playground under the camphor tree.

She looked at Fang Kai awkwardly, feeling uncomfortable as fiery gazes from nearby students shot at her.

Fang Kai waved his hand and said nonchalantly, "Life is like this; some suffer while others enjoy. There's no such thing as fairness from the start. We enjoy our own, and we don't care about them."

Su Yuan pursed her lips but couldn't be as carefree as he was.

"I think Su Yuan's concern is valid. The amount of resentment we're attracting seems a bit high," Gao Jun said, showing that he, like Su Yuan, was also uncomfortable.

"No problem, no problem. We're toughening their will. This kind of opportunity is rare, and it will benefit them in the future," Fang Kai said.

Ji Yehao and Yang Xiaowei shook their heads. Yang Xiaowei added, "Fang Kai, look, the freshmen girls are glaring at us with hatred. This will be a huge obstacle for us in the future when we try to date them!"

Fang Kai glared, "You already have a girlfriend, so what are you whining about? I don't care." Yang Xiaowei laughed, "I don't care either, but I'm afraid you'll become a bad senior on the campus forum!"

"No worries, you guys are with me," Fang Kai said.

"Can you even say that with a straight face?"

Under the shade of the large camphor tree, a small table was set up, and Su Yuan, Ji Yehao, Gao Jun, Yang Xiaowei, and Fang Kai sat on the ground, enjoying two ice-cold watermelons on the table. Not far away, the new students were standing in military posture on the rubber ground, trying to ignore the group of "jerks" just a few meters away.

Su Yuan felt like she had committed an unforgivable sin, her heart filled with torment. The boys opposite them probably wanted to tear them apart.

Fang Kai spat, "Do you know how hard it was for me to bring these watermelons? Be grateful, be grateful!"

"But I feel like what we're doing is really mean..." Su Yuan hesitated but still wanted to say something.

Ji Yehao rolled his eyes and teased, "Then why are you eating so happily?"

Su Yuan just smiled awkwardly.

After the afternoon classes ended, Su Yuan and the others, who had just returned to the dorm, received a call from Fang Kai, inviting them to eat watermelon. Seeing such a good opportunity, they happily came, but when they arrived under the camphor tree, their faces turned white. This guy... could really do such a heartless thing!

He was just too bad.

However, eating ice-cold watermelons in front of the new students, feeling the difference between heaven and hell, gave them a unique thrill.

"We're toughening their will. The freshmen will understand our intentions in the future; it's all for their good!"

At first, Su Yuan and the others exchanged glances, feeling that they were the ones who couldn't withstand the test. But they decided to let it go and took a big bite of the watermelon. Suddenly, she said, "There's a class meeting tonight. Are you going, Fang Kai?"

"Class meeting? What's the point? I'm not going! I'd rather go to the internet cafe and play WoW!" Fang Kai shook his head at the mention of the class meeting.

Su Yuan had a look of "I knew it."

"Hey, Su Yuan, you should have a chance to compete for the position of class secretary this semester."

Su Yuan was taken aback and shook her head.

At the start of a new semester, class officers and the class secretary would be replaced or re-elected. To make everyone's resumes look better, considering future employment prospects, the school tried to let more students serve as class officers.
