As the saying goes, "Looking at a mountain may tire a horse to death," which means that even though you can see the mountain, it still takes a long time and a long journey to reach it.

The two mounds were right in front of them, but when they actually set out, they realized they still had a long way to go.

The campsite was by the main road, about a hundred meters away. Su Yuan and the others walked to the mountain road and then followed the winding road upward.

After about half an hour, the group finally reached the mounds, but by then it was already completely dark. With the help of the moonlight, they could vaguely see the white outline of the cement road.

Su Yuan pouted in disappointment; in the darkness, she couldn't see the specific shape of the mounds. She didn't see any telescopes or military radars!

"Su Yuan, shall we go back?" Ji Yehao shone a flashlight at the mounds but saw nothing, so he suggested they return.

The night was occasionally punctuated by the shrill cries of night birds, which sounded like the last struggles of life. Su Yuan couldn't help but shiver and quickly nodded, "Let's go back."

"Xia, Gao Jun, what do you think?"

Gao Jun and Xia Linfei nodded, "We can't see anything anyway, let's go back."

The moon was bright in the sky, but the scene was eerily quiet and somewhat pale...

The four walked on the mountain road, with Ji Yehao leading, followed by Su Yuan, then Xia Linfei, and finally Gao Jun.

Gradually, Su Yuan moved closer to Xia Linfei and whispered, "Do you have any tissues? I need to go to the bathroom!"

"Now?" Xia Linfei asked in surprise.

Su Yuan looked embarrassed, "I drank too much water earlier, and now I feel uncomfortable..."

Xia Linfei laughed, "Why didn't you go with me earlier? Wait a bit longer; I think we'll be back at the campsite soon."

Su Yuan shook her head, "We've already walked for half an hour. Even if we go back faster, it will still take at least ten to twenty minutes. I might as well take care of it here."

"Alright, here are your tissues!" She took out the half-pack of tissues from her pocket and handed them back to Su Yuan. "Do you want us to wait for you?"

"Wait for me just to go to the bathroom?" Su Yuan shook her head quickly. She didn't want to lose face. It's just a bathroom break; why should several people wait for her? After all, she was a "boy," and Ji Yehao and Gao Jun would definitely laugh at her.

"Xia, you guys walk slowly, I'll catch up later!"

After thinking for a moment, Su Yuan whispered. The darkness around her still made her feel uneasy.

"Alright, just hurry up!"

"Okay!"

Su Yuan slowed down, gradually falling behind Gao Jun, and then slipped into the bushes when no one was paying attention.

It was a dry stream bed, with rocks scattered everywhere. Her feet slipped on the rocks, as if she were dancing on a tightrope. With a thud, Su Yuan stepped into a hole and fell forward.

"Ugh!" She got up, brushed off the dry grass from her body, and rubbed her sore foot. Taking out her mini flashlight, she saw a red mark on her pale calf. "Damn! I almost sprained my ankle just going to the bathroom! What bad luck!"

She slapped her head, realizing she had a mini flashlight but didn't think to use it. She deserved to hurt herself!

Grimacing, she rubbed her sore spot and used the flashlight to find a suitable place to relieve herself.

"Being a woman is so troublesome, even going to the bathroom isn't comfortable!"

She squatted down, and the sound of urine hitting the rocks was heard. Su Yuan sighed in relief, finally feeling the release after holding it for so long.

After finishing, she wiped herself with tissues, pulled up her pants, and limped back to the mountain road with the flashlight.

The surroundings were dark, with no one behind her and Xia Linfei and the others already out of sight.

In the deep forest, the sky was dark, and the feeling made her shiver. The temperature was low, and occasionally, she heard unknown sounds, which she guessed were the howls of wild animals or the cries of owls. She shivered and quickened her pace...

But with her injured foot, every quick step sent a sharp pain up her leg, so she had to slow down.

"Where is Su Yuan? Why hasn't she caught up yet?" Gao Jun looked back, seeing no one on the gray-white cement road, and asked in surprise.

Xia Linfei said, "She said she needed to go to the bathroom and should catch up soon."

"Does a guy really need that long to go to the bathroom? Should we wait for her?" Gao Jun said with a tsk.

Xia Linfei suppressed a laugh and said calmly, "It's fine, we can just walk slowly." She wanted to say that girls take longer in the bathroom than boys.

But Su Yuan was taking too long...

She didn't know what was holding her up.

On the other side, Su Yuan, who was rushing back, couldn't help but curse. Her mini flashlight had run out of battery, and this was going to be the end of her!

She patted the flashlight, which flickered a few times before finally going dark. The surroundings were pitch black...

"This can't be..." She opened her mouth, her thoughts swirling in her mind. She gritted her teeth, took a deep breath, and pushed forward.

A few minutes later, sweat began to bead on her forehead. Although the night in the mountains was cold, Su Yuan was already sweating. She had been walking down the mountain road for a while, and by now, she should have reached the campsite. Why hadn't she seen anything?

Was she lost? She immediately ruled out this possibility!

There was only one mountain road, and following it downhill, she couldn't have gone far.

Did she walk past it?

Su Yuan's heart raced; this possibility was growing!

That's right, the campsite was some distance from the mountain road, and she might have missed it unintentionally.

The mountain road was winding, and the scenery looked similar everywhere, especially in the dark. Su Yuan couldn't be sure if she hadn't reached the campsite or had already passed it.

At the campsite.

Yang Xiaowei sat by the campfire, roasting chicken wings with Mo Ying. Seeing Ji Yehao, Gao Jun, and Xia Linfei return, he asked in surprise, "Where's Su Yuan?"

Gao Jun said, "She's behind, going to the bathroom. She'll be here soon!"

"My tomorrow, which day will I stop missing you. Forget the time, forget yesterday, love and hate will not be repeated..." The phone rang, and Ji Yehao frowned as he took it out.

"It's Su Yuan calling."

Everyone's attention immediately turned to him.

"What! Oh, wait there, we'll come find you!"

After hanging up, Ji Yehao said to the group, "Su Yuan says she's lost and can't find the campsite!"

"You can't be serious, she got lost in such a short distance?" Yang Xiaowei looked at the burning campfire and realized that the tents had blocked the view of the campfire.

Xia Linfei and Mo Ying both showed signs of worry, "We can't just wait here; we need to find Su Yuan quickly!"

"Don't panic, the situation isn't that bad!"

Ji Yehao calmed everyone down. They followed a small path to the mountain road. Ji Yehao said, "Mo Ying, Xiaowei, you stay here as a marker. Gao Jun and Xia Linfei, you go up the road, and I'll go down. Su Yuan has only been missing for twenty minutes, so if we don't find her in half an hour, we'll return to the starting point!"

Gao Jun and Xia Linfei nodded solemnly, "Understood!"
