Chapter 73

Reincarnation of the Reckless Genius Composer - Chapter 73 (73/482)

Of course, there's a possibility that Hyunsung won't appear at all since it's the first episode...

However, with the extensive promotion using the keyword 'HS' even before the broadcast, the probability of him appearing, even for a moment, was much higher.

Even if he doesn't appear in the main broadcast, he will likely show up in the preview to preserve the ratings for the next episode.

─ The grand national audition K-SingerStar is about to begin.

The long advertisement time finally ended, and the elaborate opening of K-SingerStar began.

↳ Wow, it's finally starting ㅠㅠ There are so many people at the audition.

↳ So many people came, it's worrying, especially for the second round in Seoul ㅠㅠ

↳ So, when will HS appear?

↳ Is Jayble not coming? I heard Jayble is also appearing.

↳ Will HS appear in the first episode? No... is he really going to appear?

↳ If they hyped it up so much and he doesn't appear, that would be a bit much;

↳ Yeah~ He'll probably come to promote the song~

↳ The song is so good that it doesn't need promotion;

↳ So, when will Jayble appear? Is he not coming?

↳ This time, the HS song is just a seasonal 'spring' song, so it will probably make me think of spring every year;;

↳ If you're only going to talk about HS, go to his fan cafe.

↳ The comment above is clearly a Jayble fan ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

↳ What happened to Jayble? Is Jayble really coming?

↳ Here comes the real Jayble fan; he's really obsessed.

The comment section was already heating up from the start. As expected, mentions of HS were not missing.

Given that Hyunsung has maintained a mysterious image, some suspected that his appearance on K-SingerStar was just a rumor, and others speculated that he was appearing to promote his new song, 'A Handful of Cherry Blossoms.'

Additionally, there were fans who were hyping up the competition between Hyunsung and Jayble, and it was often reported that Jayble's fans and HS's fans were frequently clashing on community sites.

Regardless, the fact that HS was the central topic in the live chat indicated his significant influence on the program.

“Is this one pretty good?”

The participants for the Gyeonggi region's preliminary auditions started to appear one by one.

Interesting participants, talented participants, and those with touching stories...

They sang, their interview videos were shown, and the moments of elimination and acceptance alternated, leaving no room to change the channel.

Just as the broadcast was nearing its end, the scene suddenly switched to Seoul. Before anyone could wonder why it suddenly switched to Seoul, the TV screen captured a tall figure, the image gradually becoming clearer, and a man wearing a helmet bowed slightly and entered the third-round audition venue.

↳ Wow, it's HS... He really appeared...

↳ But he's wearing a real helmet?,,.

↳ What's going on with that height?

↳ ㄹㅇ The posture is just different; it's a god-like posture;

↳ Brother,, please,, just lift the visor once,,

↳ The outfit today is legendary.. I'll keep it for life..

Then, scenes were shown of the awkward atmosphere in the venue due to Hyunsung, and Kim Gwangjin and Hyunsung greeting each other warmly.

“Save it for the end.”

Just when it seemed they were only showing his entrance scene, a woman who looked timid walked into the venue.

─ A, a... I live in Seoul, I'm 25 years old... My name is Yun Jai... Nice, nice to meet you.

The woman appeared extremely nervous, even in introducing herself.

Her unstable gaze and trembling voice were clearly captured.

─ Try to sing as comfortably as you can.

Suddenly, in response to the judge's suggestion to sing comfortably, Yun Jai sat down on the floor, crossing her legs.

“Who is she?”

Manager Kim was startled and stared at the screen. He wasn't the only one who was surprised.

↳ Why did she suddenly sit down? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

↳ What's the concept here? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

↳ She must have something special,, she must be incredibly talented ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

↳ Wait, isn't that the person HS gave a super pass to?

↳ She seems to have great potential; she appeared at the end;

↳ I'm looking forward to it,, she sings well with a guitar, almost always;

↳ Singers and guitars are a match made in heaven, right? ㅋㅋㅋ

The live chat was once again heated up by Yun Jai.

─ Don't pity me.

However, as soon as Yun Jai started singing, the atmosphere changed completely.

↳ No; the voice is good, but why is the song's mood like this,,,?

↳ So, it feels damp and heavy,,,

↳ Is this a speaking-style singing technique,, it's so muffled

↳ Too ordinary? Surely this person didn't get a super pass, right?

↳ If this person got a super pass, I won't watch this show.

↳ The one who said she must be incredibly talented, come out;

The judges' evaluations were not much different from the public's.

─ For that reason, I declare you eliminated.

─ Unfortunately, you are eliminated.

They stopped her song after a short while and declared her elimination without any hesitation, as if they had prepared their lines in advance.

─ A….

At that moment, Yun Jai's face, still sitting on the floor with her head bowed, was captured in a close-up.

─ I have one question.

At the critical moment, Hyunsung spoke up.

─ Can you use a super pass in the preliminaries?

With that, the screen immediately switched to the preview.

“Wow… the producers, really cutting it off here?”

The live chat began to rise in protest.

↳ Are you serious?? Are you kidding??? Ending it like this???

↳ The producers really know how to cut at the right time;;;

↳ But why are they giving her a super pass? Is my hearing bad?

↳ I don't get it either; she doesn't seem worthy of a super pass;

↳ Anyway, the armchair experts are at it again ㅋㅋㅋ

↳ Her voice is pretty good, right? It's just that her skills are ordinary..

↳ Right. And since HS was involved, they probably gave her a super pass.

↳ Forget it; the show is just a rigged game;

↳ HS,, even you,,,,, are you just part of the show,,?

↳ But amidst all this, HS's voice is pretty good, isn't it..?

↳ The comment above ㅠㅠ pay attention ㅠㅠ now is not the time to stan;

↳ Voice or no voice, just give us the next episode!!

In the following preview, all of Hyunsung's words were bleeped out, so it was impossible to know why the super pass was used.

“No….”

Manager Kim, who had been staring blankly at the preview, muttered softly.

“It's supposed to be revealed in 30 days… I have to wait another week.”
