Although Rulan was willing to accompany him, Wang Zhong, considering the traffic conditions and the austere life on Wudang Mountain, asked Rulan to fly back to Hong Kong first to manage the business of Wang Zhong's Feng Shui prediction studio.

Wudang Mountain, a holy place of Taoism, is located in the northwest of HB Province, belonging to the eastern section of the Daba Mountains, also known as Taihe Mountain, Xie Luo Mountain, Can Shang Mountain, and Xian Shi Mountain; it was anciently called Taiyue, Xuanyue, and Dayue.

Wang Zhong, carrying a travel bag, wandered through the mountains of Wudang, breathing in the fragrance of nature.

Sometimes he would take out a compass from his bag, and when he found a good spot, he would draw and sketch in his notebook.

The Feng Shui of Wudang Mountain is vast and intricate!

Wudang Mountain is located between the constellations of Yi and Zhen, starting from Qian and Dui, with water flowing from Zhen. It has its own Taiji, extending for eight hundred miles, with seventy-two peaks, thirty-six cliffs, twenty-four ravines, five terraces, five wells, three pools, three springs, four stones, three gates, three grottoes, and one blessed land.

From the perspective of China's grand Feng Shui, Kunlun Mountain is the pillar of heaven and earth, and the mountain ranges connected to Kunlun can all be called dragon veins. According to the concept of dragon veins, receiving the "vital energy" flowing through the earth along the dragon veins can bring good fortune and happiness, so it is necessary to find a place where the vital energy is abundant and permanent. Water converges where the dragon stops, and places surrounded by water do not disperse due to the wind, so the composition of such places is a treasure land surrounded by mountains and water. The Wudang Mountain range leans against the Daba Mountains, which connect to the northwest with Kunlun Mountain. Therefore, the dragon vein of Wudang Mountain is directly connected to Kunlun Mountain.

The grand Feng Shui layout for the selection of Wudang Taoist architectural sites is as follows: the ancestral mountain of Wudang Mountain is Kunlun Mountain, the lesser ancestral mountain is the Daba Mountains, a branch of Kunlun Mountain, the case mountain is the Dabie Mountains; the left green dragon is the towering Qinling Mountains, and the right white tiger is the layered Daba Mountains. The Han River Valley between the Qinling and Daba Mountains extends from west to east, and Wudang Mountain stands at its outlet. To the east is the Han River Plain, and to the northeast is the Nanyang Basin. Looking north, one sees the rolling waves of the thousand-mile Han River. Looking south, one sees the vast expanse of the ten-thousand-mile Yangtze River. From this, it can be seen that the water mouth where the Han River flows into the Yangtze River—Hankou—is the water mouth of the ancient Wudang architectural complex.

The design and construction of the Wudang Taoist architectural complex fully embodies the Taoist concept of valuing softness and water. For example, on Wudang Mountain, whether it is the official road or the divine road, the route is winding and sinuous, like a flowing water body, naturally integrating with the mountain and water topography. The temples and shrines along the way also follow the basic design concept of being backed by mountains and facing water.

In the design of Wudang Mountain's architecture, the grandeur and majesty of the peaks and the peculiar and secluded grottoes are fully utilized, and the layout is ingenious, with each temple and shrine built in a suitable position among the peaks and grottoes, making it look like a fairyland, giving a mysterious and unpredictable feeling.

Wang Zhong followed the official road upward and, with his extraordinary physical strength, quickly arrived at the main hall of Wudang Mountain, the Zixiao Palace.

Wudang Mountain is now a tourist attraction, and visitors can be seen everywhere, burning incense and praying for blessings.

Wang Zhong stood on the main peak, looking far into the distance.

Zixiao Palace is a typical layout with the left green dragon, right white tiger, front vermilion bird, and rear black tortoise.

Zixiao Palace leans against the towering Zhanqi Peak, with the green dragon ridge on the left and the white tiger pass on the right. In front of the palace is the Jinshui Channel, with water flowing from the mountains to the west and the spring water flowing from the palace, connected by a hidden channel to the Yuji Pool. According to the theory of yin and yang and the five elements, the west belongs to metal, and metal generates water, so it is called the Jinshui Channel, and the bridge over the channel is the Jinshui Bridge. The Yuji Pool is also the Vermilion Bird Pool of Zixiao Palace, a feng shui pool that allows the vital energy of Zixiao Palace to gather without dispersing.

Behind the Zixiao Hall, there is the Zhenyi Spring, with clear and sweet water spouting from the neck of a stone turtle and flowing into a square stone pool, providing excellent drinking water.

On the back wall of the hall, there is a stone-carved dragon temple, inside which are two hexagonal wells. Taoist legends say that the wells are inhabited by dragon deities, which are the magical water for exorcism and protection.

Wang Zhong stood quietly in front of the main hall, and at this moment, his mind was free from the noisy tourists, the busy Taoists, and the rising incense.

His heart was inexplicably calm, like a spring in the mountains or an ancient well by the trees.

Even the ingeniously crafted palace seemed to disappear.

In his eyes, there was only the mountain that had stood for millions of years and the water that had flowed for millions of years.

The mountain was still the mountain, and the water was still the water!

But in Wang Zhong's view, the mountains and water seemed to come alive!

They turned into a divine tortoise with its head raised to the sky, and the flowing water from the mountain became a winding silver snake.

The tortoise and the snake, together, formed the Northern Black Tortoise, the divine beast.

The tortoise belongs to yang, and the snake belongs to yin, and the Black Tortoise also governs yin and yang.

The Book of Changes says that Qian and Kun are the body of yin and yang, and Kan and Li are the application of yin and yang. The sun and moon flow in the middle of heaven and earth, and yin and yang create all things!

In the Tao Te Ching, Laozi says that one gives birth to two, two give birth to three, and three give birth to all things!

One is the Wuji, and two are the Taiji!

When it is still, it is the Wuji, and when it moves, it generates yin and yang, and yin and yang generate the Taiji!

Wang Zhong's thoughts were stirred.

He raised his palms, one representing yang and the other representing yin, with yin containing yang and yang containing yin, the two being interdependent.

Stiff like a tortoise carrying a mountain, and soft like a snake winding around a tree.

As Wang Zhong's understanding of the principles of yin and yang and hardness and softness deepened, his posture changed, and his Tai Chi became a mix of reality and illusion.

The surrounding tourists looked at the strange man practicing martial arts with some surprise. At first, it seemed like a martial arts routine, but later, it became a mix of punches and kicks, as if it were a child's play.

Wang Zhong's strange behavior naturally caught the attention of the Wudang Taoists, who, being long-time practitioners, had a much higher level of discernment than ordinary tourists.

Although they did not know what routine Wang Zhong was practicing, they could sense a strong yin and yang, hardness and softness philosophy.

They also understood that Wang Zhong had entered a rare state of sudden enlightenment.

The guest master hurriedly entered the Zixiao Palace to advise the tourists not to disturb him.

Wang Zhong completed his final move, and the Tai Chi returned to the Wuji.

The obstacles that had long plagued Wang Zhong were instantly shattered, and his eyes seemed to have a Black Tortoise raising its head. His entire demeanor underwent a dramatic change.

The world was still the same, but Wang Zhong felt different, as if he could harness the power of heaven and earth with every movement.

You Xuande, the 14th-generation master of the Wudang School and the inheritor of Zhang Sanfeng's Tai Chi, is also the president of the South Wudang Taoist Association. Behind these titles, You Xuande is a seasoned master of the transformation realm.

When Wang Zhong broke through, You Xuande received a report from the guest master.

By the time he arrived at the front of the Zixiao Palace, Wang Zhong was already slowly finishing his practice.

Wang Zhong's essence, energy, and spirit condensed into three green lotus flowers on his head, finally forming an invisible Black Tortoise roaring to the sky.

Three flowers gathered at the top, the aura of the Black Tortoise!

Heaven has three treasures: the sun, moon, and stars. Humans have three treasures: essence, energy, and spirit!

As people age, their essence, energy, and spirit gradually dissipate. However, the essence, energy, and spirit of martial artists and cultivators are gathered and not scattered. If they reach the master realm, their essence, energy, and spirit will form various auras!

You Xuande, through the phrase "the highest virtue is like water" in the Tao Te Ching, achieved enlightenment, and his aura is a continuous flow of water.

His boxing techniques are also like water, continuous and unbroken, soft overcoming hard!

"Ancestor Zhang Sanfeng observed the tortoise and snake mountains and understood the Tai Chi of hardness and softness. I never expected that a thousand years later, a fellow practitioner would also achieve enlightenment through this!"

You Xuande made a Taoist salute, looking at Wang Zhong with some envy.

"I am Wang Zhong, a junior, paying respects to the Daoist master!"

Wang Zhong, seeing that You Xuande was old, with white hair and beard, wearing a dark red eight-trigram robe, and surrounded by Taoists like stars around the moon, assumed he held a high position on the mountain, and bowed forward.

"You and I are both masters of the transformation realm, so there's no need to talk about seniority!"

You Xuande smiled and stepped aside, not accepting Wang Zhong's bow.

"Your enlightenment on Wudang Mountain is also a blessing for Wudang Mountain. Please come to the inner hall for tea!"

Under You Xuande's guidance, Wang Zhong came to the inner hall of the Zixiao Palace.

The outer hall of Zixiao Palace is open to the public, and tourists can freely tour. However, the inner hall is the residence of the Wudang School, and non-disciples are not allowed to enter.

As soon as Wang Zhong sat down, a young Taoist brought tea.

Wang Zhong noticed that the Taoist walked with agility, and no matter how fast he moved, the cups on the tray in his hand did not wobble.

Wudang Mountain, the birthplace of internal martial arts, indeed has Taoists with such martial arts skills.

Wang Zhong couldn't help but admire this in his heart.

"This tea is wild tea from the mountains, nourished by the mountain and water's essence, and has a unique flavor!"

You Xuande said with a smile.

"Growing on the cliffs, it absorbs the essence of heaven and earth, the sun and moon, with a clear and pure color and a sweet and long-lasting taste, a rare good tea!"

Wang Zhong took a sip and sincerely praised.
